After all the grooves were inlaid with the sharp crystals, the pink door slowly opened, and lewd pink light seeped through the gap, making the atmosphere seem like so kind of indecent place.

"Once we get inside, follow my instructions. No acting on your own," Sha Chu warned Li Xiu again before bending down and squeezing through the pink door.

Li Xiu shook his head and also went inside.

The scene before him gradually beca clear, and Li Xiu realized this Trial Ground was not the sports stadium he was familiar with but an odd structure.

This was a platform built on water, with a width of only one ter and a length of about ten ters, surrounded entirely by water.

At the end of the platform stood a gigantic spinning wheel taller than a person, divided into several sections, each marked with a number.

Sha Chu examined Li Xiu with a peculiar look in her eyes as she noticed the Fire Lotus Sword at his waist, resembling a belt.

According to Sha Chu, apart from the Demon Spirit, the only things that could be brought into the Trial Ground were "Contracts," such as the sword on her back, her red dress, and red leather boots, all of which were "Contracts."

As for the Demon Spirit Ring on Li Xiu’s finger, he had deliberately kept it out of Sha Chu’s sight, and she hadn’t seen it yet.

Li Xiu also noticed the sword on Sha Chu’s back and her form-fitting red dress and leather boots, which hadn’t disappeared, unlike his white bodysuit that made him look like a Trial Ground novice.

"Welco to the Fanatic Trial Ground, A-level trial activating, trial rules as follows... countdown to the trial begins..." Above the spinning wheel, a familiar light screen appeared along with a cold electronic voice.

After reading the rules, Li Xiu’s expression turned sowhat subtle.

The S-level trial of the Fanatic Trial Ground, just like the End of the World Trial Li Xiu had participated in before, required two people to activate.

The two people participating in the trial must choose one person to serve as the target on the spinning wheel.

That’s right, the target.

The Trial Taker who chooses to be the target will be fixed on the spinning wheel and unable to move. Once the trial starts, the wheel will begin to spin.

The other Trial Taker must stand on this end of the platform, ten ters away from the wheel, blindfolded, and throw flying daggers.

There are a total of ten flying daggers, each penetrating one of the ten numbered sections on the wheel in sequence. Once completed, both participants have passed the trial.

The key point is, even if the Trial Taker on the wheel is killed, as long as the ten flying daggers hit the corresponding sections, the person throwing the flying daggers can still pass the trial and receive a reward.

This rule is clearly very unfair to the Trial Taker on the wheel, but rules are rules, and no one can change them within the Trial Ground.

If no one chooses to beco the person on the wheel, when the countdown ends, both will be considered as having failed the trial.

The person on the spinning wheel can use language to remind the person throwing the flying daggers to hit the correct sections.

"Later, you choose to go on the wheel," Sha Chu said to Li Xiu.

"Why don’t you choose to go on the wheel?" Li Xiu countered.

"Trust , I guarantee nothing will happen to you, or I’ll kill you right now," Sha Chu said, coldly staring at Li Xiu.

"Feel free to kill , but you won’t survive either. I never trust anyone, and it’s impossible for to go on the wheel," Li Xiu replied calmly, without a blink.

"You have to understand that even if I get on the wheel, you can’t kill , but if you miss, we’re both dead," Sha Chu continued, "If you get on the wheel, I can assure you won’t suffer any harm; this is a test for you. My real goal isn’t this A-level trial, but the next S-level trial. This is just practice. If you cooperate well, I’ll take you to the S-level trial next ti."

"Don’t bother with useless talk. I’m not interested in the S-level trial; I’m definitely not getting on the wheel. If soone has to go, it’s you. Otherwise, let’s all wait here and die together," Li Xiu replied, sitting down, unmoved by anything Sha Chu said.

Li Xiu would never hand over control of his life and death to anyone else, even if he believed Sha Chu probably didn’t intend to kill him.

If she really wanted his life, she could have acted long ago without causing so much trouble, and there would have been no reason to give him the Knight of Chrysanthemum.

Even so, Li Xiu would not relinquish control to Sha Chu.

"Think it over. I’ve practiced this trial project for a long ti and am absolutely confident. Do you think you’d be able to hit the marks blindfolded? Can you even hit the spinning sections without a blindfold?" Sha Chu added.

"Yes," Li Xiu answered without hesitation.

"If you refuse to go on the wheel, even if we survive, you won’t live," Sha Chu coldly stared at Li Xiu and said.

"I’m not afraid of death now, so why think about the future?" Li Xiu chuckled.

Sha Chu was both angry and anxious but had no way to sway Li Xiu, who remained unshaken despite the countdown ticking away, rapidly nearing its end.

"I hope you won’t regret your decision when you die."

With only three seconds left on the countdown, Li Xiu remained seated, eyes closed and motionless. Ultimately, Sha Chu was forced to take that step, leaving the area designated for the flying dagger throws.

She hadn’t expected that Li Xiu, initially cooperative and seemingly afraid of death, would be so stubborn.

If she’d known this earlier, she certainly wouldn’t have brought Li Xiu here for the trial, even grabbing soone else at random would have been better than bringing Li Xiu.

With a flash of white light, Chu Sha appeared on the spinning wheel, spread-eagled and fixed securely, with only her eyes and mouth free to move.

A knife pouch materialized at Li Xiu’s waist, containing ten flying daggers.

The wheel began to rotate slowly, and a countdown of ten seconds appeared on the light screen. Once the countdown ended, Li Xiu’s eyes would be covered, and he could start throwing the daggers.
