Li Xiu stared at the magic spirit as it moved slowly, trying to confirm whether it really saw him.
"Leave if you will, stay if you choose, but why are you lingering there?" The magic spirit spoke again.
"Uh!" Li Xiu could now confirm that this creature definitely could see him.
Li Xiu had no choice but to retract the Ultimate Light, revealing his form. The magic spirit, upon seeing him, showed no intention to attack.
The magic spirit slowly got up, but instead of approaching Li Xiu, it simply circled around the small puddle twice, then lay down again, weakly saying, "I am dying soon, won't live to see the day the Gem Species matures. Whether you're here for it or for my decaying bones, just wait a few more days, and it will fall into your lap without unnecessary trouble."
"Do magic spirits also have lifespan limitations?" Li Xiu scrutinized the magic spirit, not seeing any injury marks on it.
"Just as I expected, you're not sent by that person, otherwise you'd know I am injured." The magic spirit's voice was obviously very old: "That person probably wouldn't reveal the secret of the Gem Species here to anyone, how did you know there's a Gem Species here?"

"If you hadn't ntioned it was a Gem Species, I wouldn't be sure. I only saw a Gem Species elsewhere before, but it's sowhat different from this one." Li Xiu said truthfully.
The magic spirit paused slightly, squinted its eyes and asked Li Xiu, "Where did you see the Gem Species and how is it different?"
Li Xiu described the appearance of the Gem Species at the Unparalleled King's place but didn't say where he had seen it.
"Five-Colored Gem Species... Could it be... the Unparalleled King really took the Gem Species to the Mortal World, and it really thrived there?" The magic spirit imdiately said after hearing this.
"You recognize the Unparalleled King?" Li Xiu instantly knew his previous guess was indeed correct; this magic spirit looks so much like the Unparalleled King, both guarding a Gem Species, it's surely not a coincidence.
"How could I not recognize; except for us Spirit Suppressing Beast tribe, who else could cultivate this Gem Species." The magic spirit said proudly.
"The Unparalleled King and you are of the sa tribe?" Li Xiu was sowhat surprised.
Though their appearance was indeed sowhat similar, their attributes and abilities were obviously different, and their body sizes varied greatly—yet it turned out they were truly of the sa tribe.
"Not exactly the sa tribe, just both are Spirit Suppressing Beasts." The magic spirit sighed and said: "Back then, with the Unparalleled King and Longevity Heaven, we were born from the fragntation of the Spirit Suppressing Stone. The Unparalleled King obtained five Spirit Suppressing Stone fragnts, I got one, Longevity Heaven got three..."
"Who is Longevity Heaven?" Li Xiu sensed from the magic spirit's words that Longevity Heaven too was a magic spirit, but the na was eerily similar to the Longevity Heaven Organization founded by the president.
"You may not have heard of the na Longevity Heaven, but surely you've heard of Longevity Island?" The magic spirit said after so thought.
"Is Longevity Heaven the true master of Longevity Island?" Li Xiu suddenly thought of sothing.
Li Xiu rembered Li Ming'Er ntioning that her mother was the real owner of Longevity Island; could her mother be Longevity Heaven?
But upon further thought, Li Xiu felt it sowhat unlikely; despite their differences, the Unparalleled King and this magic spirit were both Qilin-like in appearance.
Longevity Heaven, like them, should also be Qilin-like due to belonging to the Spirit Suppressing Beast tribe.
It's hard to imagine how the president and a Qilin-like magic spirit could have given birth to Li Ming'Er.
"Indeed, after the Spirit Suppressing Stone shattered, the Spirit Suppressing Palace split into three, thus forming the three forbidden territories of the Demon Spirit Realm. The three of us each guard a site: the Unparalleled King in the Celestial Sea, Longevity Heaven on Longevity Island, while I reside in the Bottomless Pit."
Li Xiu finally understood the real origin of the three forbidden territories; it turns out, they all ca from the sa source.
"Why did the Spirit Suppressing Stone and Palace split?" Li Xiu promptly asked.
"Because the heaven cracked..." The magic spirit suddenly began coughing violently.
"The heaven cracked?" After it cald down a bit, Li Xiu couldn't help but continue asking; he really couldn't comprehend what it ant for heaven to crack.
"The Spirit Suppressing Palace is the core of the Demon Spirit Realm, you may consider the Spirit Suppressing Stone as the World Tree of the Demon Spirit Realm. When the Demon Spirit Realm was destroyed, the Spirit Suppressing Stone was also damaged. One day, the heaven of the Demon Spirit Realm cracked... that crack spanned the entire void, torrents of purple aura descended from the skies, nearly dyeing the entire void purple... the whole world was affected, the Spirit Suppressing Stone shattered, and the Spirit Suppressing Palace split into three..."
Li Xiu originally just regarded it as a story, thinking it had nothing to do with him, but hearing the last sentence, his face paled sowhat.
"From that heavenly scar... a human walked out..." As soon as the magic spirit finished speaking, it started coughing violently again.
Hearing the magic spirit's account, Li Xiu first thought of his elder sister Han Ling'Er, but upon closer reflection, quickly realized the magic spirit wasn't talking about Han Ling'Er.
When Han Ling'Er arrived, she directly reached Earth, not the Demon Spirit Realm, and she arrived long after the three forbidden territories had been around for many years—the tiline didn't match.
