Wrapping his arm around Tang Yanqi’s waist, Sheng Jianan pulled her aside, then with a sudden move, lifted her horizontally into his arms.
"Sheng..."
The series of actions by Sheng Jianan happened so quickly that Tang Yanqi didn’t even realize what was going on; she was already being carried inside by him.
Once she regained her senses, Tang Yanqi vaguely sensed that sothing wasn’t quite right.
The feeling from Sheng Jianan was off; his dark eyes, as usual, seed to be smoldering, but not with anger, rather...
Having heard the talk without experiencing it herself, Tang Yanqi instinctively swallowed. She had a faint guess in her heart, but didn’t know how to respond.
Sheng Jianan carried her directly upstairs, kicked the bedroom door open with one foot, then used his foot to close it. He placed Tang Yanqi on the bed, and in the next second, his lips pressed downwards.
Tang Yanqi instinctively reached out to push against Sheng Jianan’s shoulders, keeping so distance between them. Sheng Jianan frowned, finding her hands troubleso.
He grabbed both of Tang Yanqi’s hands, pinning them above her head with one hand, and his kiss slowly shifted away.
A tingling sensation spread throughout Tang Yanqi’s body, a feeling so unfamiliar as if she were floating in a vast ocean, unable to see land, nor grasp any lifeline, making her uneasy, scared, yet longing to lie in the middle of a sunny adow, surrounded by the fragrance of flowers, basking in the warm sunshine, carefree and not wanting to get up.
Tang Yanqi’s brows gradually furrowed. She knew what was happening now and what would happen next. She also knew she should push Sheng Jianan away; he was only losing control for the mont. Should she really give herself to him because of his montary impulse?
But... but, this is Sheng Jianan; how could she refuse him?
The long-buried feelings in her heart surged like a tsunami, gradually overwhelming her. Tang Yanqi slowly closed her eyes. Enough, let it be. Her most precious self, aside from the person in front of her, she didn’t want to give it to anyone else.

The dreamy thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock on the door. Tang Yanqi awoke in shock, and the Sheng Jianan on top of her also paused. With a sullen expression, he exchanged glances with Tang Yanqi for a couple of seconds before getting up.
He walked over to open the door: "What’s up?"
Mrs. Sheng stood outside, peeking in with a smile: "Why are you still awake so late?"
Sheng Jianan’s expression was extrely sour, but the person he faced was his mother; he couldn’t lose his temper just because his attempt at intimacy was interrupted.
"I was just about to sleep."
"That’s good, get so rest early, you have work tomorrow."
Sheng Jianan closed the door, leaving the room in an awkward silence. Tang Yanqi was already sitting up, with her previously disheveled nightwear neatly adjusted.
The passionate haze had dissipated, and all they could do was stare at each other. Tang Yanqi’s face was flushed, while Sheng Jianan looked disgruntled, lying back down awkwardly. Whether it was exhaustion from their brief activity, Tang Yanqi gradually found sleep again amid the awkward atmosphere.
In the morning, Tang Yanqi woke up to find the space beside her empty. She propped herself up, just in ti to see Sheng Jianan coming out of the bathroom, his upper body bare, a towel wrapped around his waist, water droplets trickling from his hair down his neck, exuding an indescribable allure.
Seeing him, Tang Yanqi imdiately recalled the events of last night, and her face instantly flushed red.
