Tang Yanqi spoke as she approached Yu Shasha, her gaze cold and distant, carrying an air of aloofness and isolation that sent chills down one’s spine.
Yu Shasha’s face turned red as she instinctively reached out to slap Tang Yanqi, but Tang Yanqi caught her wrist: "Don’t you think I have connections, a sugar daddy? Well, do you believe that I can have you out of here by tomorrow?"
Coldly dropping this line, Tang Yanqi released Yu Shasha’s wrist, turned, and walked out. She just wanted to work so overti and didn’t expect to encounter such a scene.
She had no intention of really threatening Yu Shasha; she was just annoyed by her, using the influence she didn’t have. Exiting the Shengshi building, Tang Yanqi took out her phone to call Sheng Jianan, but on second thought, she hesitated, not wanting to disturb him, and put the phone away after two seconds.
She hadn’t taken more than a couple of steps before Guo Jingtian hurriedly chased after her from behind: "Little Tang."
Tang Yanqi turned her head, and Guo Jingtian took a couple of breaths: "Little Tang, don’t take what just happened to heart. I’ve already made things clear with her."
"I’m not taking it to heart."
Guo Jingtian scratched his head and smiled: "That’s good. It’s late, let take you ho."
Tang Yanqi knew that Guo Jingtian likely genuinely just thought it was too late, and as a girl, she wasn’t safe being out. It was really out of goodwill, but she didn’t want to have too many non-work interactions with him and didn’t want to make enemies.
"Thank you, Brother Guo, but no need, I can go back myself."

"Yanqi, what’s going on?"
Lu Qilin approached, his eyes briefly lingering on Guo Jingtian with a hint of caution. Tang Yanqi knew he misunderstood and quickly explained: "Senior, this is a colleague, my work senior. We just finished working overti."
Guo Jingtian politely greeted Lu Qilin, not being foolish, and seeing the misunderstanding, greeted him and then said to Tang Yanqi, "Little Tang, I’ll head off then."
"Goodbye, Brother Guo, take care on the way."
Lu Qilin indeed misunderstood, thinking Guo Jingtian was a sleazy guy pestering Tang Yanqi. Only after Guo Jingtian was far away did he look at Tang Yanqi again: "You’re alone? Working overti this late?"

Lu Qilin seed even slimr than the last ti she saw him. Rembering what Bai Bing said earlier today, Tang Yanqi didn’t have the heart to refuse and nodded: "Alright."
Lu Qilin led Tang Yanqi to his car, a rcedes GLK350, different from the car he used to drive.
"So incident happened, this is a family car, not mine."
Seeming to have noticed Tang Yanqi’s confusion, Lu Qilin explained.
