In the afternoon, Sheng Jianan finished dealing with the last docunt in his hands, glanced at the ti—it was ten minutes to five. He walked into the break room, washed his face, tidied up a bit, gave the mirror a defiant and handso smile to ensure his image wouldn’t embarrass his own woman, and then turned and walked out.
It took forty minutes to get from Shengshi to Tang Yanqi’s workplace.
With ample ti, Sheng Jianan drove a while, then stopped in front of a flower shop.
"Hello, sir, what do you need?"
Sheng Jianan’s gaze swept around the shop, landing on the roses. He pointed, "Eleven red ones, nine white ones, wrap them for ."
"Certainly."
If it were before, Young Master Sheng would’ve unhesitatingly gone for sothing like "999," or at the very least "99." But now, he hadn’t even considered it. Though he didn’t mind such ostentatious gestures, that woman didn’t like them.
The bouquet was quickly wrapped. Sheng Jianan looked over it; the roses were fresh, tender, and dripping with dew. The young girl’s aesthetics in wrapping flowers was quite impressive and not at all tacky.
Considering Sheng Jianan’s picky eye, the fact that he recognized the aesthetics is telling.
Sheng Jianan took out the money to pay. The total ca to a hundred and fifty. He placed two bills on the counter and turned to leave.
Since he appreciated the girl’s flower wrapping skills and taste, Young Master Sheng instinctively glanced back before leaving without stopping.
After walking outside, Sheng Jianan suddenly rembered sothing and went back inside.
Inside, the young girl was about to put the money into the drawer. Seeing Sheng Jianan return, she thought he was there for change and politely handed over a fifty: "Sir, your change."
Sheng Jianan didn’t take it but squinted and asked, "Your flowers are nice here. Do you have a contact number? I might need more in the future."

She handed it to Sheng Jianan with both hands: "Sir, sorry, our boss’s cards are out. This is my contact information. You’re welco to visit again."
Sheng Jianan took it, nodded, and turned to leave.
"Sir, your change."
ng Yuwei called after him, but Sheng Jianan ignored it, walked out, carefully placed the flowers in the back seat, returned to the driver’s seat, and looked at the elegant handwriting in his hand.

Not that na, not exactly the sa look, but maybe she’s changed as she grew. An eighteen-year-old and a twenty-five or six-year-old girl always have so differences.
Sheng Jianan took out his phone and made a call to Shen Jiyan, simply saying a few words and adding at the end, "Not sure, not confident, see for yourself."
This little episode made Sheng Jianan’s originally relaxed schedule tight. Worse, he encountered a minor collision on the road, causing a complete traffic jam. As the ti ticked away, Young Master Sheng frowned, clearly showing an impatient expression.
He didn’t call Tang Yanqi as he just wanted to surprise her. Is it as though whenever one person wants to surprise the other, sothing always goes wrong, becoming a routine?
After finally getting through the traffic jam, Young Master Sheng drove like the wind but was still sowhat late. He arrived at the embassy’s entrance fifteen minutes after Tang Yanqi’s off-work ti.
