Tang Yanqi also walked up. In the bedroom, Sheng Jianan had changed into a shirt and was standing in front of the mirror tying a tie.
"You’re going out?"
Tang Yanqi finally couldn’t help but speak. The man standing in front of the mirror finished tying his tie and calmly said, "Hmm."
After a two-second pause, he added, "Gu Han’s gathering, I’ll be back later."
His tone wasn’t exactly cold, just calm, as if he was rely completing a task.
Tang Yanqi said nothing. Sheng Jianan grabbed a coat and turned to leave. As he was about to reach the door, his waist was suddenly hugged from behind.
His steps halted, his back pressed against two soft spots. Tang Yanqi pursed her lips, closed her eyes, and explained, "I don’t know how much of what I said yesterday you heard, but it’s not what you think."
Sheng Jianan didn’t speak, and Tang Yanqi didn’t know what else to say. She tightened her grip slightly, and the room fell into an eerie silence.
After a while, she finally heard the man let out an extrely short sigh: "Last night I was at Ah Ze’s place, drank a bit, and was afraid you’d be upset if I ca back."

He hadn’t even heard her voice; how could he have shouted at her?
During that ti, whenever soone knocked to disturb him or entered to disturb him, he did tell them to get out. Was she among them?

Though he was in a daze at the ti, he wasn’t to the point of not recognizing her. If it was her, he would’ve only hugged her tightly.
His thoughts were a ss. When Sheng Jianan ca back to his senses, he heard her last sentence: "Before Sheng Jianan doesn’t want , I’ll stop wanting him first."
