"Little Mu, I’ll leave Jiayu to you. Please take her back to rest; this girl less and less takes care of herself."
Mu Ke nodded: "Aunt, don’t worry, I’ll take good care of her."
Saying this, Mu Ke pulled Sheng Jiayu’s arm to lead her out, but Sheng Jiayu frowned and resisted: "I don’t..."
"Do you want Aunt to worry?"
Mu Ke whispered softly into Sheng Jiayu’s ear, and Sheng Jiayu glanced at her mother on the hospital bed, giving up her struggle and following Mu Ke out.

He didn’t have clinic hours here, yet they still assigned him an office.
"Just like I said on the plane, Aunt’s condition is more optimistic than you think. As long as she maintains a proper diet and avoids stress, there won’t be any issues."
Sheng Jiayu nodded, and Mu Ke added: "Also, don’t let her worry."
Mu Ke’s words carried a subtle double aning to Sheng Jiayu, causing her to purse her lips: "I understand."
"You rest here; there’s a bed inside where you can sleep for a while. Don’t worry; everything’s clean. I’ll go and speak with a few doctors in charge of Aunt’s condition to understand more details. If you don’t want her to worry, do as I say."
After he finished, Mu Ke led Sheng Jiayu directly into a small rest room inside, without saying much more, and turned to leave.
He used Xu Qingru to pressure her, so Sheng Jiayu had no choice but to comply, though she truly wasn’t tired; she sat on the narrow single bed, head lowered, unsure of what to think.
Mu Ke chatted with the doctors in charge for about half an hour before returning to Xu Qingru’s room, gently pushing the door open. Xu Qingru was resting with her eyes closed but wasn’t asleep; hearing the sound, she slowly opened her eyes.
Seeing Mu Ke, her face showed a gentle smile: "Little Mu is here?"
