Sheng Jiayu listened to these words without missing a single one, and the next second, she saw the person beside her turn his head to look at her, a hint of a smile in those clear, cool eyes: "Hmm, I will definitely bring it back."
Sheng Jiayu’s heart skipped a beat, and she quickly avoided the man’s bright eyes, hurriedly getting up to walk into the room, almost as if fleeing in panic.
Closing the door, Sheng Jiayu swallowed hard, as Mu Ke’s gaze just now was too direct for her to bear.
Sheng Jiayu patted her own face and touched her lips, which still seed to carry Mu Ke’s breath; she must have lost her mind tonight, definitely!
In the living room, Mu Ke hung up the call from Ms. Wang, got up, and walked to the door of Sheng Jiayu’s bedroom, reached out to knock, but paused, restrained himself, better not to push too hard, give her so ti, let her ease into it.
Mu Ke turned around, leaned against the wall next to him, gently touched his own lips with his fingers, and a smile appeared in his eyes and on his face.
That night, Mu Ke slept on the European-style sofa outside, one hand resting behind his head, falling asleep with a smile at the corner of his mouth.

Turning over and getting out of bed, Sheng Jiayu went to the bathroom to wash up, determined to clear things up with Mu Ke.
However, when she opened the door and went out, the outside was empty, and the blanket Mu Ke had slept with was neatly folded and placed on the sofa.

Sheng Jiayu called out, but no one responded. She walked to the dining room and saw a plate of washed grapes with a note pressed underneath.

Sheng Jiayu put down the note, walked into the kitchen, and the mont she lifted the pot lid, a delicious aroma wafted out.
Today’s porridge was beef and egg drop porridge. Sheng Jiayu poured a bowl and it was still delicious as ever.
She drank two bowls in a row and only stopped after she burped, feeling that the rush of energy she had when she ca out of the room had been softened by these two bowls of porridge.
She lowered her eyelids, thinking this won’t do.

Mu Ke had been called to the hospital early in the morning and as soon as he returned, he dove into the operating room. By the ti he was done, it was already noon.
He changed out of his surgical gown, put on his white coat, sat in his office rubbing his temples, checked the ti, and then took out his phone to call Sheng Jiayu.
He called twice, but no one answered, causing Mu Ke’s brows to furrow. Was she still not up yet? Or did sothing else happen?
