Sheng Jiayu neither admitted nor denied, instead she countered, "Do you think so?"

Tang Yanqi smiled brightly, "The eyes don’t lie, sister, I’m very happy you could move on, Doctor Mu is your best choice."

"Hmm?"

"Because when he looks at you, his eyes are full of you."

Sheng Jiayu was stunned. Until they finished eating and left, Tang Yanqi’s words lingered in her head.

When Mu Ke looks at her, are his eyes really full of her?

The car stopped steadily below the apartnt building, Mu Ke reached out to unfasten Sheng Jiayu’s seatbelt, "Rest early, good night."

Sheng Jiayu nodded, reached to hold the car door handle, pressed her lips together, and looked at the person beside her, "Um, the food was a bit salty tonight, do you want to co up for a drink of water?"

Mu Ke’s cold eyes squinted slightly, a smile of insight flashed through, Sheng Jiayu’s face flushed. How could she not know there was an invitation implied in this? For so unknown reason, she didn’t want to part with him. The apartnt with him around always held a kind of warmth.

In the past, Sheng Jiayu thought she could do without this warmth, but after having it, she realized she was too naive.

She craved that warmth. Even if they did nothing but stayed together holding a computer each, it felt warm.

So she mustered the courage to speak, but now, Mu Ke’s smile made her a bit embarrassed. She was a mature woman, but often in front of him, it was as if she was experiencing love for the first ti, Sheng Jiayu felt she was going backward in living.

Mu Ke’s smile didn’t last long, he reached out to tidy the hair at Sheng Jiayu’s ear, "Not today, I have so things to do at ho, and you don’t have a computer here, which is inconvenient for ."

They spent the whole day together today, so even if they parted now, it was nothing. Sheng Jiayu knew if Mu Ke really went up, they wouldn’t cross any lines. At most, they would just chat, but hearing Mu Ke say this, a wave of inexplicable disappointnt crept into Sheng Jiayu’s heart.

She controlled it well, not letting this disappointnt show, otherwise, it would be so awkward.

But who is Mu Ke? A top student of psychology, and the woman in front of him was the one he’d loved for many years. Any slight expression of Sheng Jiayu’s couldn’t escape his eyes.

The man’s thin lips slightly curved, his handso face bore a hint of roguishness, he didn’t speak.

Sheng Jiayu smiled a little, "Alright, be careful on your way ho, I’m going up."

With that, she opened the door and got out of the car. As Sheng Jiayu walked up the steps, standing by the pillar outside the entrance, she waved to Mu Ke. In the next mont, the man who had been sitting in the driver’s seat suddenly opened the door and with long strides, before Sheng Jiayu could react, he was already in front of her, one hand propped on the pillar, while the other pinched her chin.

A kiss followed.

It was neither a gentle touch nor an aggressively angry invasion like their first.

Rather, it was a kiss full of teasing implication.

Entwined and tangled, chasing and frolicking, a mix of want and resistance, showing a bit but hiding a bit more, almost instantly taking away all of Sheng Jiayu’s breath and thoughts.

At the unit entrance, the soft yellow streetlight quietly shone on the two of them, the winter chill couldn’t dispel the heat that belonged to them at this mont.

Mu Ke’s kiss was gentle yet dominant, Sheng Jiayu couldn’t hold him, but he held her tightly, until she felt her lips numb, the man finally released her.
