Mu Ke’s apartnt was as cold and monotonous as ever. After entering the apartnt, Jiayu realized that Mu Ke had just gone out to buy her sleepwear and so changeable inner clothes.
Fluffy coral fleece pajamas, with a soft pink color. Jiayu liked them but felt they were a bit childish.
Especially with the two rabbit ears on the back of the hood, they were really quite childish.
"There’s a towel in the bathroom for you, and your skincare products. You can take a bath first while I take care of sothing," he said.
Jiayu nodded. Compared to last ti, Mu Ke’s bathroom was filled with many bottles and jars, identical to the ones in her ho. Jiayu felt touched; he probably saw what her family used and bought the sa.

Throwing the newly bought items into the washing machine, Jiayu slowly went to take a shower.
Mu Ke’s place had a washer and dryer in one. After showering, Jiayu’s clothes were already dry. She took them out and put them on, there was a faint mint scent, very pleasant.
Her long hair was wet and dripped down her back as she walked in plastic slippers to the door. When she opened it, she noticed a pair of fluffy slippers had been placed outside the bathroom at so point.
Jiayu dried her feet and changed into the new slippers before heading out.
Mu Ke was on the phone. When he saw her co out, he continued talking with whoever was on the other end as he took a hairdryer from the cupboard for her.
Mu Ke spoke with a standard London accent, which sounded nice, paired with his cold voice, it surprisingly had a touch of an English noble earl’s vibe.
Jiayu casually listened to a few sentences, it seed he was discussing so professional matters. Many terms she couldn’t understand, so she chose not to listen further.
Taking the hairdryer, Jiayu went into the study, closed the door, and began drying her hair. The bathroom was wet, and she didn’t want to go there, but she was afraid of disturbing his phone call outside.
Jiayu usually didn’t have much patience when drying her hair. She simply dried it until it wasn’t dripping wet.
After unplugging the hairdryer and preparing to leave, her gaze suddenly shifted, landing on a corner of the bookshelf.
Most of Mu Ke’s bookshelf was an open bookcase style, but that corner had a door. The glass door was locked, but it didn’t prevent seeing what was inside.
There were nurous trophies and certificates. The certificates weren’t clear, but the trophies were easy to see—so related to dicine, so from his student competition days, and one... was surprisingly related to design.
Unable to examine it closely, Jiayu couldn’t see it clearly, but she was certain it was related to design.
Did Mu Ke study design?
Jiayu recalled a previous conversation on Weibo with soone and a thought flashed through her mind, but she quickly dismissed it—probably not!
Mu Ke pushed open the door and saw Jiayu standing in front of the bookshelf, staring at the pile of honors he had once earned.
"What are you looking at?"
Upon hearing the commotion, Jiayu turned around, her hair a bit ssy, but she didn’t mind. She pointed at the trophies and certificates inside, "Can I take a look?"
Mu Ke grabbed a small keychain from the drawer and opened the door. Jiayu avoided all the other trophies and dals, and directly took out the one she had noticed earlier. It had a string of English on it; she carefully looked over it and confird that it was indeed an international design gold award.
Jiayu turned back, "Is this yours?"
Mu Ke gently responded with a "hmm," without a hint of pride or arrogance, as if it was a very easy award to win.
