Since eting Mu Ke in the morning, they hadn’t ntioned the recent events. Now sitting on the sofa, Jiayu leaned on Mu Ke’s leg, and the two finally started to talk.
"How’s your mom doing?"
"She’s fine now."
"I heard from Mu Xin... that you were on a hunger strike?"
Mu Ke frowned slightly, showing a hint of dissatisfaction: "Too talkative."
This was obviously about Mu Xin. Jiayu tugged at his sleeve: "Don’t say that about her; she’s just worried about you."

The couple looked genuinely affectionate, though they were complaining, love was clearly in the air.
Mu Ke approached them and straightforwardly suggested swapping numbers.
The young couple was a bit incredulous, as it ant a significant advancent.
Mu Ke, not fond of interacting with others, exceptionally explained warmly: "My fiancée has a special job, and she can’t wake up early."
The young couple exchanged glances for a mont and readily swapped numbers with Mu Ke. After he walked away, the girl pouted: "Why did we have to get fed a mouthful of lovey-dovey stuff even on the day of getting our license?"
The boy chuckled, soothing her: "But now we can advance by a lot. I can marry you sooner."
The girl smiled: "You’re right."
