###Chapter 99: I Will Co Find You

It was the first ti Aiden Xavier had ever been called a jerk, but he didn’t argue. He silently endured Sharon Winters’s accusations. There were many things he couldn’t tell Hazel Hawthorne at the mont, but that didn’t an he was going to hurt her.

Aiden Xavier felt there was no way to defend himself. Sharon Winters had already hung up. He sat alone in his car; he had already arranged for Finn Quinn to take Raina Lowell ho. All he wanted to know now was where Hazel Hawthorne was.

In truth, even if Sharon Winters didn’t tell him, Aiden Xavier could find out if he really wanted to. It was just that he’d gotten the impression last ti that Hazel Hawthorne didn’t appreciate him knowing her every move. So, unless it was absolutely necessary, he wanted to give her so personal space.

The air in the car was a bit stuffy, and Aiden Xavier had smoked several cigarettes without even realizing it. Hazel Hawthorne hated the sll of smoke, so he rarely smoked at ho. That was why he usually kept his cigarettes in the car.

After a while, Aiden Xavier called Sharon Winters again. The mont Sharon answered, she rushed out their address before she could even get a full sentence in. "Get over here, quick! Hazel’s being harassed."

Hearing that, how could Aiden Xavier possibly stay seated? Hazel Hawthorne had the kind of face that attracted trouble wherever she went, and it always caught n’s attention. Add to that the fact she’d been drinking, and she was completely oblivious to how fatally alluring she was to n.

He raced to the entrance of the bar Sharon Winters had told him about.

Aiden Xavier got out of his car and strode inside, his expression dark and nacing. The security guard at the entrance saw his frightening look and didn’t dare block his path.

Walking into the bar, Aiden Xavier’s gaze began to scan the entire room.

In a crowded spot, Aiden Xavier finally saw Hazel Hawthorne. She was swaying precariously, leaning on Sharon Winters’s shoulder. A few fashionably dressed young n stood before them, blocking their way.

Sharon Winters tried to push the n away, but she also had to protect Hazel Hawthorne. On top of that, she was a woman and naturally no match for the n in strength. She was quickly put at a disadvantage, glaring unhappily at the guys who had co to hit on them. She knew very well that their only target was the hopelessly drunk Hazel Hawthorne.

Hazel Hawthorne had no idea what was going on. If Sharon Winters let her guard down for a second, Hazel would fall to the floor. Even in a relatively ta bar, plenty of won were taken advantage of but didn’t dare to say anything, choosing instead to silently swallow their grievances.

Aiden Xavier watched from his vantage point for a few minutes. He had been thinking he should teach Hazel Hawthorne a bit of a lesson, but the mont he saw those n extend their lecherous hands toward her, he could no longer sit still. He shot to his feet and strode over to Hazel.

His long, slender fingers landed on the man’s shoulder. The man sensed sothing was off and whipped his head around. The lights were dim, concealing Aiden’s face in the shadows, but the terrifying aura he exuded was impossible to ignore.

Sharon Winters was the first to see Aiden Xavier, and it was like seeing her savior. She quickly helped Hazel Hawthorne over to Aiden’s side and pointed at the n. "Mr. Xavier, it’s them! They were trying to harass Hazel!"

The n were the type to be rendered immobile by a beautiful woman. Even though Aiden Xavier’s imposing aura frightened them, it did nothing to deter their resolve to harass Hazel Hawthorne.

One of the n grabbed Aiden Xavier’s wrist, and the two began a silent contest of strength. Aiden Xavier sneered. Seeing Hazel Hawthorne’s drunken state, he had no ti to play gas with them. In a few swift moves, he had them all thoroughly subdued.

Sharon Winters settled Hazel Hawthorne onto a nearby sofa and kept giving her water to soothe her throat.

Aiden Xavier returned to Hazel Hawthorne’s side. Hazel was leaning back on the sofa, her eyes half-closed, but she still recognized him in a single glance. She smiled coldly, her gaze fixed on him, as if she wanted to say sothing. In the end, however, she said nothing at all.

Hazel Hawthorne simply used the sofa to slowly pull herself to her feet. She glanced at Aiden Xavier, then led Sharon Winters toward the bar’s exit. It was clear she had no intention of acknowledging him.
