"Hurry up, hurry up." Lan Yiqing had been imagining this day for a long ti, dreaming of the day she could go shopping hand in hand with her daughter-in-law. Today, this dream finally ca true. She was so happy. The more she looked at An Nan, the more she liked her. She must have her son settle down with her soon, or else she’d cry if so other man snatched her away.
Taking advantage of An Nan changing clothes, Lan Yiqing took out her phone to send a warning ssage to her son: "You little brat, hurry up and marry her and bring her ho. If soone else snatches her away, I’ll wring your neck."
The man who saw the text raised his eyebrows helplessly: "Is this what they an by having a wife ans no more sons?"
Just entering the fitting room, An Nan hadn’t clearly seen what clothes she was holding. Now, she looked closely and couldn’t help twitching her face. A dress? It was actually a dress. Sitting deflated on the chair in the fitting room, she was full of distress.
Why a dress? Since going abroad for studies, she hadn’t worn a dress. Just thinking about herself in a dress made An Nan feel embarrassed.

Upon receiving her son’s WeChat ssage, a proud smile flashed across Lan Yiqing’s lips. As expected, it turned out just as she predicted. There’s hope, there’s hope!
An Nan was still standing uneasily in front of Lan Yiqing, unsure of what to do.
"Mrs. Lan, what’s up?" Why was she smiling so cunningly, giving her a bad premonition?
"Nothing, nothing." She was planning to give her future daughter-in-law a surprise but wouldn’t say that soone was about to arrive. But how could she stall without letting the other party notice? Lan Yiqing’s clever mind quickly ca up with an idea: "Nannan, you look so nice in a dress. Try these ones as well." Saying this, Lan Yiqing handed over the dresses she had just picked out, draped over her arm.
Seeing several dresses hanging from Lan Yiqing’s arm, An Nan felt an impulse to escape.
But who could be blad for this? She could only bla herself for being soft-hearted, never learning how to say no to the elder generation.
