Now reading: Chapter 217 I Am Lan Luo from Whispers to the Soul: Surrendering to Love Snare, a Romance novel by Xia Andy.

As An Jiayou’s words fell, he imdiately moved forward, reluctant to admit that he knew these two fools, yet the reality was, he was here with them.

At the entrance to the ’Champs Elysees,’ Lan Luo had been waiting there, eager to be the first to see Young Master Lin’s legendary future son. Seeing a group of familiar figures from afar, he quickly rose from the sofa in the hall to et them.

As the crowd approached, his gaze first fell on the face of the boy walking at the front. A flash of amazent crossed his eyes. He had to admit, this child was indeed very good-looking, but apart from so subtle similarities, he didn’t look much like the woman walking beside Young Master Lin. So, does he resemble his dad?

With this thought, Lan Luo felt quite complicated. From his viewpoint, he disapproved of his cousin marrying such a woman. In his opinion, his cousin was the pride of the family. Such an outstanding person could marry any woman he wanted, yet he chose to marry one who was older than him and already had such a big son.

This was one of the reasons for his enthusiasm tonight; he still wanted to try and persuade his cousin.

However, none of these complicated feelings showed on his face. Instead, with an interested look, he directed his gaze at the boy coming towards him and proactively greeted him: "Hello, are you Jiayou? I’m a friend of your Uncle Mu Bai."

"Hello, I’m An Jiayou."

At this mont, An Jiayou was not only a stranger to Han Xiayang and Xi Shaoqi but also unfamiliar to Lin Mubai.

Gone was the previous childishness, replaced instead by an aura of premature maturity, indifference, sensibility, and elegance—they were the feelings of everyone at the scene except An Nan, completely unlike a re twelve-year-old child.

Talking to him, Lan Luo’s face montarily showed a hint of shock, then he managed to pull himself together, sowhat unsure what to say next. Thus, the adult and child stood face to face, their eyes eting in mid-air.

At this mont, An Nan left Lin Mubai and ca over to them, slightly nodding gently to Lan Luo, with a chilly tone: "Sorry, the child is not sensible."

Returning to his senses, Lan Luo shook his head sharply: "It’s okay. Hello, I’m Lan Luo." As he spoke, his eyes stayed glued to the other person’s face. At the last gathering, he was drunk and missed the chance to et her. Today he couldn’t afford to miss out again.

Catching the gaze of those deep eyes, an unruffled ripple suddenly passed through his heart, and simultaneously he ford a rough assessnt of the woman before him. As described by the people in the private room now, her looks did not belong to the category of absolute alluring beauty, but her aura and temperant of just quietly standing there made it impossible for anyone to ignore her. Overall, the assessnt was that she was a striking woman.

Even so, he still couldn’t fathom why his excellent cousin would choose her.

So he decided to observe more.

An Nan’s principle was never to hit a smiling face with the hand, so the next mont, An Nan gave a faint nod to the other party, delivering a concise answer: "An Nan."

When An Nan responded, Lin Mubai walked up, first giving Lan Luo a warning look, then smiling gently at the adult and child beside him: "Let’s go. Don’t just stand here."
