When An Nan fell asleep with a sense of grievance, the man beside her suddenly opened his eyes. In those beautiful dark eyes, there was no longer any trace of previous anger, only an overwhelming affection.
A broad hand gently stroked the little woman’s soft hair in his arms, and Lin Mubai’s mouth curled into a slight smile, "Silly woman, how could I bear to see you upset? Lin Mubai’s dark eyes flickered with pride for a mont but quickly hid it, so the frustrated An Nan didn’t notice. Then Lin Mubai continued, "Really, no matter what I say, you’ll agree?"
Hearing this, An Nan hesitated but soon made up her mind, "Yes, as long as I can do it."
The man surely wouldn’t sell her out.
Despite her words, she was quite nervous inside.
It’s as if Lin Mubai wanted to torture her, he looked around slowly without stating his requirents, "Actually, my request is simple, and you can definitely do it, I just worry you wouldn’t agree."
The more Lin Mubai spoke like this, the more An Nan struggled inside. But she’d already promised and couldn’t take it back, so she steeled herself to agree.
