It’s just her job doesn’t allow her to take good care of this child, so up until now, she hasn’t thought of a good solution. If Jiayou could really stay temporarily at the Lin Family’s ho, all problems would be solved instantly. However, she’d feel very embarrassed, after all, she and Little White had just beco a couple, and her letting his family help take care of the child seed sowhat awkward.
While An Nan was hesitating deep down, Lin Mubai’s smiling voice reached her ears: "Nannan, let’s settle it like this, Grandpa and Grandma are very happy for Jiayou to co over, Dad and Mom too. You can see how much they like Jiayou, and you can imagine how much they welco him to stay with us. Jiayou can stay at our place when we’re busy, and we’ll bring him ho when we’re free." When Lin Mubai ntioned his parents to An Nan, he never used "my parents," directly calling them "Dad and Mom." This made him feel like he and Nannan were already one family, and there’s no distinction.
Finally, An Nan was convinced by the one big and one small persuader: "Alright then, Jiayou, you stay at Uncle’s house, but you must be obedient, okay."
"Hmm, I got it." Actually, An Jiayou really wanted to retort, over all these years, when has he ever been anything but a good baby? But since the reminder was from An Nan, he’d obediently listen to all of it.
The trio enthusiastically returned ho, and it wasn’t until Lin Mubai parked the car downstairs at the apartnt that An Nan’s face suddenly turned ugly. Lin Mubai noticed right away and nervously looked at her: "Nannan, what’s wrong?"
An Nan didn’t answer him, but hastily took out her phone from her bag, and then she despaired. She thought, why has it been so quiet these past two days? Turns out her phone was out of battery, and she didn’t even realize it.
An Nan was troubled about her phone being dead and didn’t notice the stormy expressions in the eyes of the big and small pair beside her.
Or one could say Lin Mubai’s eyes betrayed guilt, while An Jiayou looked at him with an expression of deep aning; don’t underestimate him for being young and clueless. An Nan’s phone shutting off for no reason was obviously related to this person.
With deep aning, the gaze moved to his own family’s woman, still looking troubled. An Jiayou shook his head silently.
Clearly a woman who’s sharp about everything, why is she so obtuse when it cos to emotions, it’s embarrassingly dense.
Maybe to outsiders, it seems like his family’s An Nan is the one in control in this relationship. However, in his eyes, he thinks the truth is entirely different. He believes his An Nan is the one completely overwheld, and this man is the real mastermind behind the scenes.
Seeing the little guy wasn’t complicating matters for him, Lin Mubai’s tension that was caught in his throat slowly returned to his stomach. Then, he continued with a look of affection directed at his little woman: "Maybe the phone is out of battery; let’s get out of the car, we’ll stay here today as well."
The phone shutdown was indeed intentional by him, for a simple reason: to stop a certain bastard from finding his wife, and his goal was indeed achieved. With things being like this, the next steps can’t be too obvious; progressing gradually would be better. Still, he hoped that bastard had sensibly left voluntarily.
