But Lin Mubai wasn’t buying it: "There must be so morable ones. C’mon, spill it."
"Okay, okay, I’ll tell you, but let think."
"Think quickly, think quickly."
"Well, if I tell you, are you going to tell about your past too?"
"Sure." Being honest with his wife was sothing Young Master Lin was happy to do.
Then, An Nan began recalling. However, with each na she ntioned, the man beside her felt his heart grow heavier.

An Nan finished simply and quietly observed the man’s reaction in front of her: "Alright, that’s about it; I can’t rember the others."
Lin Mubai tried hard not to let any hint of displeasure show on his face: "Wife, it’s okay. None of them succeeded, did they? You belong to now, right?" He wasn’t sure if he was convincing himself or soone else with these words.
"Yes, I belong to you now." If a simple happy comnt from her would make this man happy, An Nan was willing to do that.
The next mont, Lin Mubai joyfully gathered her into his arms: "Wife, when we have our wedding, let’s invite these people too."
An Nan was dumbfounded: "Why invite them?"
It was the first ti she had heard of soone inviting their romantic rivals to their wedding. Young Master Lin’s thinking was truly unconventional.
"Aren’t they your friends too? It’s normal to invite friends to a wedding." Lin Mubai nonsensically made up an excuse, even framing his wife’s admirers as friends.
In fact, his real motive was to let those people see with their own eyes that this woman belonged to him.
But later, on the day of Young Master Lin’s grand wedding, he regretted it so much he turned green with envy, unable to figure out what possessed him to actually invite those damn bastards. It ended up with him frantically searching all over B City for his bride on his wedding day.
