Xi Xilan, she’s not afraid at all, but when it cos to eting that person, An Nan feels a bit uneasy. Thinking of how he treated her mom back then, she feels even more hatred, wishing she could destroy the An Family. But because of Dad’s ties, she’s unsure of what to do.
Seeing the struggle in her eyes, Lin Mubai asked tentatively, "Wife, what’s wrong?"
An Nan smiled at him and shook her head, "Nothing, just a bit unsure about what to do next."
"How so?"
"Well, let put it this way, I hate the An Family, especially because of how that person treated my mom back then. But he is Dad’s father after all, so I don’t know what to do."
Lin Mubai smiled slightly; it was actually quite simple in his view: "Alright, my clever wife, don’t overthink it. When the An Family reaches out to you, I’ll go with you. We’ll see their attitude; if it’s good, we’ll discuss Dad and Mom’s issue and move on. If not, say what you have to, there’s nothing worth negotiating."
