For a long ti afterwards, Han Xiayang couldn’t quite figure out this question.

In the car, An Nan and An Jiayou started discussing where to eat. Suddenly, a na popped into An Nan’s mind, and she excitedly suggested, "How about having a free al?"

What’s known as a free al is the kind where you eat without paying. Han Xiayang wanted to speak up, saying that he couldn’t do such a shaful thing, but An Jiayou had already secretly given him a look from the rearview mirror, signaling him to keep listening. In the midst of Han Xiayang’s silent acquiescence, An Jiayou concurred with excitent, asking, "An Nan, do you have any good proposals? If we can get a free al, that’d be great."

With her son’s approval, An Nan was even more thrilled. She imdiately revealed her plan: "How about we ask Third Young Master Xi to join us for dinner?"

An Jiayou certainly had no objections.

Han Xiayang was even more agreeable. First, he was reassured about this kind of free al, and secondly, he was more than happy to drag soone else into it. This way, even if things got dicey afterwards, he’d have found a kindred spirit. When he calculated it in his mind, it seed worthwhile.

After the three reached a unanimous agreent, An Nan began dialing Third Young Master Xi’s phone number.

Receiving a call from soone he fancied, Xi Shaoqi was extrely excited. His voice was gentle as rain, capable of lting any woman: "Nannan, why did you suddenly think of calling today?" In these simple words, even soone with An Nan’s low emotional intelligence could clearly sense the underlying bitterness.

To a typical woman, she might have instantly been swayed by him, but he was dealing with the impervious, immovable An Nan. It was a failure on Xi Shaoqi’s part. Without a hint of empathy or remorse, An Nan simply ignored it and changed the topic: "Shaoqi, do you have ti this evening?"

"Why? Are you asking out for dinner?" Xi Shaoqi was originally just teasing her, but today, the surprises she gave him ca one after another.

"Yes, exactly, I’m inviting you, Third Young Master Xi, for dinner. I wonder if you can make it?"

On the other end, Xi Shaoqi was montarily stunned, then quickly responded, holding his phone and nodding like a fool: "I have ti, I have ti, of course I have ti."

"Where shall we eat then?" An Nan added, "Don’t tell Lin Mubai about this, and don’t choose Champs Elysees."

Xi Shaoqi, being sharp-minded, imdiately understood. Surely, this ant they had a marital spat. Inevitably, his heart grew even more cheerful. Initially, he was furious about soone secretly marrying his beloved. Today presented such a rare opportunity, why on earth would he volunteer to inform that person?

Very quickly, Xi Shaoqi sent an address to her via his phone and asked her, "Want to pick you up?"

An Nan promptly refused over the phone: "No need, no need, see you later."

Xi Shaoqi was still in a eting when he took An Nan’s call. He hurriedly stepped out of the conference room, and now had no interest in continuing the eting. Thus, he imdiately went to the secretary office to give instructions: "The rest of the eting will be handled by Manager Wang. You attend and give a eting summary tomorrow. Additionally, move all my evening appointnts; I’m leaving the company now."
