"Young Master Lin, you ntioned going on a vacation last ti, when exactly are we going?"
Lin Mubai suddenly rembered this matter, and a thought flashed through his mind, making his voice more urgent: "Let’s go this Sunday. After we get back, it’ll be just in ti for the Nanqi Group’s annual eting, and then it’ll be New Year." Thinking about New Year, Lin Mubai suddenly felt a faint sense of anticipation; it seed like it would be the first New Year he spent together with that little woman.
Reflecting on the days they had spent together recently, he suddenly felt that there was a saying that made a lot of sense.
’So people’s feelings aren’t determined by the length of ti, and so encounters aren’t about how long they last either. We just et the right person at the right ti.’
Just like him, all those years of waiting were for An Nan’s arrival.
After hanging up Han Xiayang’s call, Lin Mubai didn’t know why his mood improved significantly.
The next day, An Nan unsurprisingly saw the man who hadn’t gone to work at ho, and couldn’t help but worry about his employees. With such a lazy boss, wasn’t he concerned the company might collapse soday, and she’d have to find a new job? If it were her, she would worry, but this wasn’t her concern. Besides his aversion to going to the office, his work capability was still widely acknowledged.
Just like that ti Han Xiayang told her: "Never underestimate your husband; he’s earned a place in the United States with that lazy deanor all on his own."
Even though she hadn’t figured out where his work skills lay, he certainly must be capable to earn such recognition. Afterward, she didn’t question his absence from the company anymore because there was a saying she was sure of: a person’s ability isn’t determined by how long they stay in the office each day.
An Nan leaned comfortably against the kitchen doorway, watching the man busy at the stove. A gentle warmth filled her heart, and she couldn’t help the faint smile playing on her lips. The busy man turned around to see such a tender scene, and imdiately, his lips curved into a similarly gentle smile as he approached: "Wife, you’re awake, hold on, breakfast will be ready soon."
"Okay, I’m hungry."
Hearing her own soft murmur, An Nan startled herself. Was this really her? She couldn’t believe she’d make such a delicate sound.
Lin Mubai, having heard her tender voice, was montarily surprised, but then his lips curled into a faint smile. He recalled his close friend Han Xiayang’s call: "Wife, let’s go on a trip this weekend."
Upon hearing this proposal, An Nan was initially a bit surprised but then relaxed: "Sure, sure, it’s been so long since we’ve gone out for a good activity. I really miss it." Like in the past, she used to travel all over the world. How could she just stay in one place now? It was utterly boring. If she had to say, she truly missed the carefree tis, abandoning everything just to walk the path she wanted.
But if she had to trade her current life for the way it was back then, she would be reluctant, all because of the man in front of her, who gave her an indescribable attachnt.
