His own wife didn’t see clearly, but Lin Mubai, sitting in the driver’s seat, could see everything clearly through the rearview mirror, and also heard what the other party was shouting. Yet a flash of disgust passed through his eyes; she was truly a nauseating woman, always making people annoyed no matter what she was doing, wherever she was.
He also hoped that those people tonight would behave themselves, otherwise, don’t bla him for not showing any rcy.
After passing the first checkpoint, Rocky got into Lin Mubai’s car. After getting in, he greeted Lin Ze and Lan Yiqing proactively, then jokingly said to the driver, "Having Young Master Lin as my driver is truly an honor!"
The man in the driver’s seat instantly rolled his eyes and retorted, "Is it fun? Does it amuse you?"
Rocky nodded without hesitation, affirming him, "Very fun, very amusing."
An Nan had never seen two n bickering before, and watching this scene now, she was thoroughly entertained, without any intention to stop it. Lin Ze and his wife had the sa reaction, leaving Lin Mubai speechless.
Amidst the bickering of the two n, the car reached the Champs Elysees parking lot. After Young Master Lin parked the car, Rocky got out first and very gallantly opened the car door for the two ladies. Once everyone was standing in the parking lot, he suggested to An Nan, "Nannan, why don’t you take your father-in-law and mother-in-law to your lounge upstairs first? Then, when the party formally starts later, you all can co down."
An Nan had similar plans in mind, so she imdiately nodded, "Sure, I’ll leave the matters in the banquet hall to trouble you then."
Upon hearing this, Rocky shook his head with a smile, "Why are you being so polite with ? I’ve already arranged for so food and drinks in the lounge. If you need anything else, just talk to the staff. I’ll go and take care of things now."
On departing, Rocky politely bid farewell to Lin Ze and Lan Yiqing, "Uncle, Aunt, see you later."
It was only after walking a good distance away that Rocky slowly stopped, now feeling a bit downhearted. That person was incredibly beautiful tonight, even more so than he had imagined. He had always known she was a lazy woman, but never an unattractive one. Yet, he didn’t expect that just a bit of dressing up would make her this stunning.
"Nannan, you are very beautiful and will surely be the center of attention tonight; only, you no longer belong to ."
Speaking to himself, Rocky forced a slightly embarrassed smile, with a hint of sarcasm in his eyes, "Actually, when did she ever belong to you? Not in the past, certainly not in the future, so Rocky, stop thinking about it."
All these complex thoughts were sothing An Nan had never known, and indeed, she was destined never to know in her lifeti.
Rocky was just that kind of man. When he’s in love, he’s truly in love, never harboring any resentnt. His love is selfless, requiring no reciprocity.
Good-looking guys naturally attract favor, especially when they are such gentlen. Lan Yiqing’s smile was as wide as a blooming flower, "Go on, go on, thank you for your hard work."
At this point, Lin Mubai could no longer resist the urge to tease, "You’re smiling too much. Dad’s still here, and you’re grinning at another man like that, aren’t you afraid he’ll get jealous?"
