The two n quickly reached a unified front.

"Alright."

After Rocky left, Lin Mubai stood alone at the end of the hallway for a long ti without returning to the room.

Only then did he turn around, and upon seeing who it was, his tense body gradually relaxed, though he still pursed his lips without speaking.
Lan Xinru, who had been like a sister to him for so many years, understood every move of this man.
Seeing him stubbornly purse his lips, she rely raised the corners of her mouth slightly and spoke with a calm smile, "Don’t always keep yourself so tense. I know you’re very worried about Nannan, but there’s always a way to resolve things, isn’t there?"
"You don’t understand," Lin Mubai softly uttered these three words.
