Isn't it said that these few people obviously dislike ? What's going on now? No matter how I look at it, their goodwill towards seems pretty high.
"Alright, that's enough greetings. Those Sealed Items have sensed our presence and are starting to beco agitated."
With a single sentence from Red Teeth, Fla Fire and his followers imdiately "reluctantly" let go of Gong Qiying.
"I should have explained the characteristics of the Unbelievers to all of you before, but just to be safe, I'll say it again now. Don't think I'm being naggy..."
Red Teeth started talking again about the traits of the Unbelievers, and Gong Qiying listened, but his gaze was fixed on Fla Fire and his followers in front of him.
Then he narrowed his eyes.
From the mont Fla Fire greeted him warmly, he felt a sense of discord, which escalated when the followers approached. After careful consideration, he finally realized why.
Because although these two appeared passionate, internally they were cold, with no emotional fluctuation whatsoever.
Like those people who act politely even when facing soone they dislike just because an older peer is present.
Ah, so that's it, it's a case of smiling without sincerity.
The puzzle in Gong Qiying's heart was solved.
Indeed, though the City Lords may detest him outside, they couldn't possibly turn openly hostile in this setting; it would be too embarrassing and beneath their dignity.
He glanced back at Irene... Well, from that clump of shadow, it's impossible to discern any emotion, so he assud she was as outwardly warm but inwardly cold as Fla Fire and his followers.
No classic high blood pressure incidents occurred; he didn't know whether to feel thankful or disappointed. But the situation at least indicated that everyone was a sensible adult, and notwithstanding true inner thoughts, today's assault should be a pleasant cooperation.
However, there's still one issue.
"If I tell them I'll take over this Dungeon, what reaction will they have?"
"After killing the enemy, the Cross can leverage absorbed Faith to birth new Unbelievers; that's it for the explanation, no more questions, right?"
Red Teeth glanced around, nodded, and said:
"Then let's begin."
His words had just fallen when, as if so restriction had been lifted, the Unbelievers on the ground instantly sensed the enemy's aura, becoming frantic. Piercing roars filled the scene.
A few Bone Dragons burning with Spiritual Fire roared as they flew past the horizon, spewing cold flas towards the ground. The Unbelievers touched by the flas howled in agony, dying in droves, and then Red Teeth was the first to strike.
How does it seem like these few Bone Dragons alone could single-handedly sweep through the Unbelievers?
But in the next mont, that unassuming Cross suddenly emitted an invisible wave, swiftly enveloping the Bone Dragons.
The Spiritual Fire blazing in their eye sockets instantly shrank to a re fla, their heavy bodies deprived of strength, crashing to the ground heavily. Nearby Unbelievers rushed over, smashing their hardened skulls with several punches, truly demonstrating powerful might.
Absorbing the Bone Dragons' power, large numbers of Unbelievers quickly erged from the ground near the Cross, making up for previous losses.
"The Bone Dragons are the Monsters closest to lacking wisdom in my possession, but they can't escape the Cross's influence, so I can't be of help in this battle; it's all up to you."
"Rest assured, these freaks, I can definitely take them down."
Fla Fire spoke confidently, waving his hand as dozens of Fire Elent Creatures resembling him appeared on the ground, burning the Unbelievers fiercely.
Flas are the destroyer of carbon-based organisms, even in fantasy settings, flas possess peculiar effects, igniting large swathes of Unbelievers.
However, the Cross exerted its force once more; the mont the invisible wave covered them, the Fire Elent Creatures abruptly shrank!
The Unbelievers dashed forward and with a single punch, completely annihilated them! The Fire Elent Creatures exploded into Residual Fire scattered across the ground.
After their demise, the Cross utilized their "Faith" to generate new Unbelievers, seemingly increasing in number compared to before; wasn't there no effect at all?
But at this mont, the scattered Residual Fire of the Fire Elent Creatures suddenly exploded fiercely, enveloping nearby Unbelievers utterly; when the smoke cleared, none survived.
As for the Cross, no new Unbelievers were born there either.
This ti, though the death of Fire Elent Creatures resulted in the birth of new Unbelievers, the explosion took away more Unbelievers than those newly born; overall, it was a small win.
"I see, it's using Death Speech." Gong Qiying recognized Fla Fire's strategy; it was feasible but sowhat inefficient.
Then Irene dispatched her Monsters, a batch of headless Stone Statue Ghosts.
These were truly mindless Monsters that only knew slaughter, so the Cross had no effect on them. It seed Irene intended to confront the Unbelievers head-on.
The only issue is the Unbelievers' overwhelming strength; several punches could smash most Stone Statue Ghosts, making the battlefield quite brutal. Even if victorious, the spiritual power loss would likely be significant.
The followers summoned Mages and Holy Knights already transford into skeletons; they proceeded to wield Holy Light Magic in their skeletal forms, rendering an intense feeling of discordance.
