There are subtle differences between dungeon death matches and battles.
Besides the difference in the costs and rewards for winning and losing parties, there's also the matter of the battlegrounds.
Dungeon battles are quite... customizable, where sides can directly engage in chaotic combat or set up nurous traps for slow exploration, with a variety of bizarre and whimsical styles.
For instance, Red Teeth once faced off against a certain City Lord on a map that endlessly generated floating islands. However, the battle rules were neither about exploring the map nor chaotic combat; instead, both manipulated the sa Monster on the floating islands endlessly jumping back and forth, and whoever fell first would lose.
This battle was once voted by the City Lords as the "Annual Most Peaceful Dungeon Battle."
But regardless of the form of battle, it ultimately hinges on a decisive factor — the map.
The map for a death match is selected from the resource pool of the challenger, which is a significant advantage for the challenger, so without thorough preparation, people rarely initiate death matches rashly.
The battle map, however, is negotiable; it doesn't matter who chooses it, and both parties can even contribute half to create a combined map. Even the rules of winning and losing can be customized, showing a high degree of freedom.
For the map of the battle between Sain Dungeon and Blast Fla Dungeon, both City Lords left it to dungeon random choice, and it doesn't matter who was chosen.
Gong Qiying does not plan to deal with Corruption Lake or Abyssal Madness Fire like pollution bombs again, as his goal now isn't to kill the opponent as he did against Evil Nest Dungeon.
There's also a problem; Fla Fire's Monsters seem to be pure Elental Creatures, and the environnt of Corruption Lake seems less effective against them. Madness Fire directly targets spiritual power, which is too harsh, and as for Abyss, it works too slowly compared to the other two.
It's now a rare peaceful battle, yes, peaceful!
He plans to engage in a serious battle, and luckily Fla Fire agrees, so they've left it to dungeon random choice.

Probably because he was thinking about soon getting the big Burning Furnace Golem doll in his hands, if you told a two-dinsional enthusiast that winning a certain match would win them a moving wife figure, they'd be even more excited than Fla Fire.

Although the flas were intense, they didn't feel nacing because the orange-yellow fire looked very healthy and much more amiable compared to the various colored flas Adventurers often saw in Sain Dungeon, like blood-red and black flas.
The large cluster of flas suddenly gathered, forming a giant flaming bud that scattered countless embers as it burned, each ember transforming into uniquely shaped fire Elent Creatures upon landing.
Basic humanoid shapes, common tiger and wolf beast shapes, rare Monster shapes... Varied in size and form, each Monster was born from flas, extending nearly invisible threads from their bodies that connected to the large flaming bud behind them.
These were clearly the vanguard; their strength varied but wasn't significantly different.
And behind this vanguard, a massive entity erged.
It appeared as a giant with a horned head as its upper half, while its lower half was a shapeless blaze of flas, representing the Fla Lord.
On the Fla Lord, undoubtedly emanated head-level strength!
This was Gong Qiying's first ti seeing head-level Monsters from other dungeons; no other City Lord had used such head-level Monsters during sealing item battles before.
The strength of this Monster... was conspicuous and wouldn't be inferior to so of Sain Dungeon's head-level Monsters.
Indeed, high-level dungeons can certainly produce so impressive things.
Gong Qiying looked at the lineup opposite him, evidently, Fla Fire was purely a fire Elent enthusiast, and all these Monsters were purely Elental Creatures.

When the Burning Furnace Golem appeared, the vast arena suddenly seed sowhat cramped. On Fla Fire's side, he laughed heartily, and the army of Monsters composed of nurous Aliens charged towards the Burning Furnace Golem.
Faced with this group of Fire Elent Creatures, whose appearances differed but whose essence was the sa, the Burning Furnace Golem suddenly lowered its head, or rather its fire pit. With almost no pause, a fire vortex capable of piercing straight through the entire arena erupted from the fire pit, swallowing all the charging Fire Elent Creatures.
Though Fire Elent Creatures are not completely immune to damage even from fire attacks, after suffering such an attack, apart from the Fla Lord, Fla Fire's troops certainly couldn't withstand it.
When the vortex of flas surged towards the Fla Lord, the creature, no smaller in stature than the Burning Furnace Golem, spread its arms wide, and a similar vortex erupted from its chest as a counterattack. The two whirlpools of different colors collided and instantly mixed, indistinguishable, almost making it impossible to see which side had the advantage.
The scene looked as though a sentient battle wave was underway, but from Gong Qiying's side ca a different sensation from the Burning Furnace Golem.
"Indeed, Elental Creatures can be used like this." He uttered with a sigh.
At that mont, the flas that burned on the Burning Furnace Golem...
unexpectedly shrank.
The flas gushing from its body of iron bars began to shrink, first in scale, followed by the amplitude of their flickering becoming smaller, then the flas at the legs extinguished, and the trend of extinguishing continued upwards.
It seed as though the flas inside the Burning Furnace Golem were being siphoned away.

Fla Fire's excited voice echoed, filled with enthusiasm, but more so with a fervor.
It's the kind of fervor that drives one to get the good things in front of them!
For Fla Fire, tasting high-quality and unprecedented flas is an unstoppable urge, like taking Happiness Eggs, so he targeted the Burning Furnace Golem from the start, more accurately its internal flas.
"My Monsters are different from the Fire Elent Creatures in nature that operate purely on instinct; I used to be an Elental Creature Scholar. Based on my experience, the Monsters I've added in this dungeon naturally have exceptional attributes!"
