Now reading: Chapter 1189 769: The Beginning of Total Collapse (Part 2) from Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?, a Adventure novel by Moonlit Penglai Princess.

It's just a plain and simple background introduction, nothing significant.

Although Hypnosis Magic might co into play at this mont, at most it's just about stirring the emotions of the adventurer, making them willing to challenge the Flying Dragon—at least willing to challenge before their first death.

However...

"Ah, ah ah..."

The Wilderness Bishop stood there as if struck by lightning, his entire body stiff and unable to move, eyes wide open, fingers twisting unnaturally and trembling, his mouth agape and almost unable to hold back the saliva.

"No, no, my faith, my faith..."

He trembled violently like a sieve, large tufts of his thinning hair started to fall away, and in an instant, his balding head turned shiny bald.

His struggling grew weaker, his muttering voice beca lower, and his dust-filled eyes glanced towards the group of Flying Dragons attacking, and the crowd fleeing for their lives.

At this mont, soone from the crowd threw stones at the Flying Dragon but got slapped down, and before being eaten, he turned back and shouted at the Wilderness Bishop:

"Avenge , Sun Warrior!"

The dust in his eyes was instantly washed away, and the Wilderness Bishop's eyes burst with light as he unsheathed his dagger, raised it high with both hands, and shouted:

"Praise the Sun! I am a Sun Warrior!"

Then, without hesitation, he charged towards the malevolent Flying Dragon.

He barely lasted a few monts before being knocked to the ground by the ferocious Evil Dragon, followed by the sound of flesh being torn apart. The pain clouded his eyes once more, causing him to cry out in confusion, "Help , God of Nature!"

But when he resurrected, the dust-covered eyes regained their lively spirit.

"Praise the Sun!"

The Wilderness Bishop began with an extrely unstandardized praise-the-sun gesture—how he managed to ss up such a simple pose was anyone's guess—and then charged towards the group of Flying Dragons with unmatched determination.

Though the result was inevitably being torn to shreds again, yet unbelievably, he managed to break a Flying Dragon's scale with his courage as a long-unused Copper-level Mage!

"Praise the Sun!"

Again and again, he charged to his death, again and again, he resurrected.

The Wilderness Bishop shed the ssy leaves covering him, facing the sunlight with the pure posture of a newborn, launched a grand charge against the impossible-to-defeat foes!

"...Isn't the effect of this a bit too strong?"

In the City Lord's room, having seen the Wilderness Bishop's condition, even Gong Qiying couldn't help but mutter to himself.

"The Hypnosis Magic we got from Ganhai Dungeon seems too fierce, why does it feel so much more potent than usual?"

Could it be that woman sent sothing much stronger than intended as a favor?

Gong Qiying was about to shut down the Hypnosis Magic Array and try to restore the Wilderness Bishop to normal, but then he glanced at the ever-fluctuating spiritual power reserve of Sain Dungeon.

"Huh?"

He noticed the specific nural representation of the Wilderness Bishop's spiritual power, then paused montarily.

"This spiritual power doesn't seem like it's at a Copper Level?"

...

"Captain, what should we do? Now there's no turning back."

Outside the Dungeon, in the Wilderness Church camp, the Wilderness Captain and his teammates crowded into their tent, all wearing serious expressions as they discussed matters.

"According to my father's character, whether he might be inspired by the Sun Warrior is still uncertain. We must prepare for the worst."

The Captain looked calm, showing an unexpected expression for a spoiled brat, and said in an orderly tone:

"However, given my dad's character, he surely wouldn't dare confront the monster directly. He would try every ans to avoid a fight. Each ti he survives because of escaping, he would be trapped longer in the Painting World, maybe two or three days. These days, we need to make good use of our ti."

The Captain clenched his fist, staring determinately, and said, "Make more people understand the greatness of the Sun Warrior."

His companions smiled, nodding in agreent:

"Indeed, there's no longer any need to have faith in this God of Nature, who never responded to our prayers. We need to find a god who can be our spiritual support!"

"Though Gwyn is no longer with us and can't respond, the Sun Warrior left behind has been resurrected in modern tis!"

"Let's begin, everyone, let's start our new journey!"

So, not long after that, as the sky grew lighter.

A series of other churches, including the Starfire Church, were startled by the sudden major actions of the Wilderness Church, losing interest in sleep, and got up to see what those guys were up to.

The Wilderness Church seed to be in urgent mobilization, even including their logistical mbers, had been pulled up, organized in teams according to rules others didn't know, then entered Sain Dungeon one by one.

There weren't many mbers of the Wilderness Church stationed here. Once divided into eight or nine teams, they almost cleared out, all of them passing through the Teleportation Gate into the dungeon, leaving only a few to guard the overly large camp.

"What are they doing?" wondered the Golden God Sect.

"Aren't they afraid of people who dislike them taking the opportunity to attack their camp? They didn't even leave many guards?" The Starfire Church couldn't wrap their heads around it.

Is it because they see that if Hevi and the others haven't returned yet, there aren't many people around who could pose a threat to them, so the Wilderness Church can act arrogantly?

No, that doesn't fit, the Golden God Sect is still here.

Regardless of how big the questions were, the Wilderness Church nearly all went in.

They were inside for an entire day, only coming out gradually by evening, with the ntal states within different teams differing greatly.

The teams where the Captain and other high combat strengths were, most mbers seed invigorated, eyes lit up as if they had found so life's dream, while the average-performing teams were full of complaints, dissatisfied with the Captain's sudden decision, as all logistics could do in the dungeon was get beaten!

In contrast, the Wilderness Captain seed quite pleased with the situation and thus ordered all teams to disperse and rest on the spot.

The next day, just past midnight, he gathered those who had been full of complaints again, forcefully organized them into teams to re-enter the dungeon, and equipped those teams with competent mbers.

Again, the Starfire Church was disturbed by this commotion, finding it hard to sleep with curiosity about the Wilderness Church's intent, yet feeling too tired if they stayed up. Most cursed the Wilderness Captain in their hearts, who remained indifferent.

At that mont, the teams encountered an unexpected situation.

The Teleportation Gate flickered, and a bald figure erged—it was the bishop!

"How did he co out so fast? This isn't good..."

The Wilderness Captain's expression grew dark because the bishop's sudden appearance would surely rally those followers without the ntal readiness to confront him yet. His plan wasn't complete—how could he let it be disrupted!

Calm and steady, the Captain moved closer to his father, who fixed him with an unreadable gaze, as the gap between them narrowed further, the tense atmosphere fernting in the air...

Suddenly, the frail bishop staggered, collapsing into the Captain's arms before he could react, whispering softly in his ear:

"Praise the Sun."

"!"

The Captain's eyes widened montarily before returning to normal, his lips curling into a joyful smile as he raised his arm and announced:

"I'll take care of the bishop, you all continue doing the right thing!"

The consciousness of the Wilderness followers subtly shifted.
