"I want to learn [Fla Bomb] and [Ignite Fire]!"
[Sorcery: Fla Bomb]
[Sorcery that further enhances the basic performance of a Fireball]
[The Fla Bomb, when thrown and upon contact with an enemy, triggers an explosion. The explosion's might will also scorch surrounding enemies with flas]
[This scene is just the signature of sorcerers who control fire]
[Sorcery: Ignite Fire]
[One of the first sorceries learned by sorcerers, capable of igniting powerful flas from the hand]
[It's one of the purest forms of sorcery, and for that reason, the fire's power is quite formidable]
One is a fireball that explodes, akin to a prayer with the sa effect.
Why not learn the advanced version [Ignite Intense Fire]? Because he's out of soul energy.
If they could, Luluwo and the others would have liked to concentrate their soul energies on Reid, letting him instantly package and clear all these sorceries, but unfortunately, souls cannot be transferred.
And seemingly due to the lack of Sorcery Fire, they are unable to independently see Klarna, naturally, being unable to learn sorcery from her, with excess soul energy that cannot take effect.
Reid, at this mont, was exceptionally excited to begin his study.
As soon as he spoke the nas of the sorceries he wanted to learn, it seed like an illusion appeared before his eyes.
He saw Klarna transform into a huge fla, and from this fla, two small flas split and rged into his body.
At the sa ti, the primordial forms of Fla Bomb and Ignite Fire erged in his mind, with thods of casting these two sorceries appearing in his thoughts.
A very wondrous feeling, as though encountering pages of a Magic Book, yet subtly different at the sa ti.
This might be the unique characteristic of sorcery!
Reid closed his eyes to feel it carefully, then flicked his left hand. Ignite Fire instantly activated, bursting a scarlet fla from his palm for a mont!
"Succeeded!" he exclaid with delight, successfully throwing a Fla Bomb into the distance, the explosion's power instantly dried the surrounding swamp.
He could feel that although he had only initially grasped these two sorceries, at best rely capable of casting them, no different than using War Ash to release a Combat Skill.
But it felt like his ability to understand sorcery had been enhanced, Klarna using mysterious powers to accelerate his comprehension of sorcery!
This is similar to the thod used by Combat Skill ntor Benar!
Reid understood that this accelerated learning effect is probably temporary, uncertain when it might take effect, so he needed to seize this precious ti to delve deeper into learning.
"Thank you, teacher!" he replied with deep gratitude like a diligent student asking questions in class.
Klarna nodded and reminded him:
"Sorcery is the art of manipulating fire, the skill of igniting flas and then controlling them, but there is one thing you must rember when using sorcery."
Her voice turned serious, causing everyone who was listening to tense up, like really being lectured by a teacher in class.
"You must be in awe of fire."
"If you forget this reverence, you will be devoured by the flas... I do not wish to see this happen again..."
This sounded like a line full of stories, and Reid nodded solemnly, indicating he understood, but when he wanted to inquire further, Klarna fell silent.
Perhaps she would talk more as they beca more familiar? That's how it was with other residual shadows anyway.
In this brief contact, Reid's respect for Klarna grew naturally, and this respect flourished even more after successfully learning the sorcery, making him regard her as an important person.
Even if Klarna treated him extrely well, his emotional acceleration seed sowhat peculiar, the emotional fluctuation beyond that of ordinary people.
Seeing Klarna seemingly having nothing more to say to him, and himself eager to take advantage of the heightened comprehension to practice sorcery, Reid bid farewell to his first sorcery ntor.
However, unexpectedly, as he turned to leave and just stepped forward, Klarna's voice ca from behind.
"Go ahead, my apprentice, don't beco a Wandering Soul."
Reid was stunned, then moved by the emotion that arose in his heart. He was cared for by a residual shadow in the Dungeon!
The forr, feeling the words were a bit too blunt, added another line: "Otherwise, my ti spent on you will be in vain."
Wow, there's also so tsundere!
Reid's admiration for his sorcery ntor shot up imnsely, akin to the Dark Moon Sword's loyalty towards Gwendolin!
"I, I want to be a sorcerer for a lifeti!"
In that instant, it seed his faith in Gwyn wasn't even that firm.
As he walked to the edge of the clearing, even if others stayed by his side, they could no longer see Klarna. This "special treatnt" gave him a secret delight.
Reid no longer cared about the filthy environnt here, wholly imrsed in training sorcery, maximizing his perception ability, targeting a Monster, and directly hurling a Fla Bomb at it, then igniting fire as the half-destroyed Monster charged at him, repeating the process continuously, a seemingly tedious action he found enjoyable.
Every ti he cast a sorcery, his understanding of fire deepened, and this rewarding feeling was the most exhilarating, even more so when knowledge stread endlessly into his mind.
So satisfying!
In the process of constantly manipulating fire, he had strange thoughts.
The Starfire Church clearly worships the Fire God, even having "fire" in its na, yet inside people were all playing with Thunder Spears, it was so peculiar.
Sorcery like fire would apparently match the impression given by the na Starfire Church much better!
Despite thinking this, he dared not indulge in any church-splitting actions. Putting aside the identity of the Fire God, he still respected the Sunlight King, Gwyn.
Behind him, seeing his joyous movents, people displayed envy, jealousy, and other emotions.
"Being so happy, damn, I also want to learn sorcery," a Soldier said enviously.
"It's not sorcery you want to learn, it's the unique experience only you can obtain," another Soldier pointed out bluntly.
"I didn't expect it, but a sorcery ntor has erged for a practice people least regarded before."
Luluwo was musing to himself.
"If I compile a sorcery guidebook from Klarna's teachings with comntary on the performance of each sorcery, it would definitely sell amazingly... But in this lousy place, Scaroon, no one buys guides! Damn, I feel so cheated!"
Surely adventurers from other places would take interest in sorcery, and if its strength is high enough, it would naturally attract strength enthusiasts.
"This needs to be told to Hevi and the others ASAP."
The Starfire Knights were thinking about their church's interests.
The ergence of sorcery ntor Klarna undoubtedly represented a new power path for the Skalon people.
Currently, it seems one needs Sorcery Fire to learn sorcery, which isn't expensive, and the effort required to master it isn't much, allowing Soldiers to try it out entirely.
If sorcery could be heavily ard onto Soldiers, it would further enhance combat strength!
The Holy Light Church has been developing technology against Thunder Spears, it's ti for the Starfire Church to upgrade its power too!
It's unfortunate, however, that they can't go back now, unable to send ssengers to the church. They can only delve deeper into exploring the Sick Village's swamps, and who knows when this will end—
Just as this thought appeared in a Starfire Knight's mind, sothing moving was spotted in the distance.
It's a bonfire!
