The world was crumbling, and the tunnel beneath the feet of the Holy Light Knights shattered in an instant. Everyone plumted toward the earth amidst the tremors and falling rocks.
It was a vast underground space, yet both above and below were tightly covered with grim, pale spider webs. Even the ceiling was swarming with strange, giant, egg-like cocoons, as if a horde of bizarre-looking monsters might burst out at any mont!
This kind of place and scene could already be considered a standard "Demon Cave," sothing that could be used as an example in textbooks!
No one with a normal understanding would want to fall into such a place, where a slight movent inside might cover you entirely with spider webs!
Except for soone like Roger, a monster enthusiast, who would probably love to fall into this place.
As the Holy Light Knights were falling toward this space, they felt as if they had entered a knights' novel, becoming righteous knights battling evil within a Demon Cave.
Speaking of which, could one really get themselves clean after getting covered in these spider webs?

Because flas were burning.
Right across from them, flas erupted from a cave covered with exceptionally thick spider webs.
The spark, upon touching the web, instantly grew into fifty serpentine fire snakes, spreading in all directions, turning the entire cave into a fiery furnace in the blink of an eye!
The Demon Cave that was nurturing unknown monsters had, in the blink of an eye, beco a burning forge!
"Ahhhh!"
When it cos to who would be most afraid in such a scene, it was undoubtedly the Holy Light Knights clad in tal armor. Those who had successfully landed scread amidst the encircling flas.
The Holy Light Church was willing to spend money on elite warriors like the knights. Therefore, their standard armor had a variety of functions, with protection against various elents as a basic feature.
These white armors could not only be fireproof but also heat-resistant, preventing the armor heated by flas from turning the wearer into fried squid. Therefore, in theory, the Holy Light Knights should be able to move freely within ordinary flas.
But the problem is....
The Holy Light Knights usually engage in mid to high-level battles.
Who on such a battlefield still plays with ordinary flas?
Temperatures were beyond imaginable; intense flas, soul-burning blue fire, life-force-consuming Undead fire—fla types had long beco flamboyant under the experintation of various magicians!
And the fla now burning in the Sain Dungeon made the Holy Light Knights feel an ultra-high temperature no less than intense fire the mont they were engulfed!
It was a temperature that couldn't necessarily be overco even with a specially applied fireproof magic shield protecting oneself!
The entire space had beco a sea of fire, leaving nowhere to hide. The knights, nearing becoming grilled squid, were desperately fighting for their lives.
Kaius's eyes were fixed on the cave from which the flas initially erupted. His long sword sliced forcefully toward the ground, releasing a gust of blade wind that briefly subdued the fiery onslaught.
"Everyone, co to !"
At Anleisi's command, the Holy Light Knights rushed toward her. She brandished her magic wand and projected a colossal water ball into the sky, which burst into countless raindrops, attempting to extinguish the flas.
However, it seed the water could suppress the flas, but not extinguish them completely.
The fire appeared to dwindle sowhat but did not go out!
"What kind of fire is this?"
Clearly, the flas were of an unusual kind, and it was impossible to devise a counterasure in such a short ti.
Seeing the Holy Light Knights yelling in pain, Anleisi had no choice but to change tactics. Clasping her hands together like a vessel, Magic Power surged around her, and in the next mont, a powerful suction emanated from her hands, attempting to draw in the flas.
The flas were indeed drawn in, gathering toward the palms, while sweat beaded on her forehead. However, it wasn't an unbearable struggle.
Watching the fire gradually recede, a look of relief appeared on everyone's faces.
But just then, Kaius unexpectedly struck out with a blade Qi from afar toward the cave entrance. The power of the attack was so extre that a nearby knight nearly fainted—was he really going all out from the start?
As the slashing approached the cave entrance, an abrupt change occurred.
"Boom!"
A long blade made of blazing fire suddenly cleaved out from the cave, colliding with the slashing instantly. The rocks at the entrance shattered under the pressure of the collision and were imdiately lted by the high temperature, droplets of lava spilling onto the ground as the slashing was fully neutralized!
"How could this be, Lord Kaius's attack actually..."
The Holy Light Knights did not act at once but focused intensely on the cave entrance where the fire erged.
Anleisi suddenly gasped, noticing that the sea of fire on the ground had beco immovable.
It was as if the flas were bowing to the presence within the cave, like subjects before a king!
"Be careful, sothing is coming out!"
The ground shook lightly, again and again, those were footsteps.
Each tremor made the sea of fire ripple.
The flickering tongues of fla seed to bow reverently.
