Fingerley imdiately looked at his own hands with suspicion, doubting if they had deceived him.

When he perford the Flash Slash, he clearly felt the blade cutting through flesh, which made him a bit thrilled, thinking if he pushed a little harder, he might sever the tail of White Dragon Heiss.

However, the sensation was so real, but when he looked up, he realized he hadn’t inflicted even a little damage on his enemy.

"..."

Fingerley suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu from the scene before him, and with a swift thought, he realized sothing.

"Because the Healing Ability is too strong, the wound from the previous slash heals by the ti I swing the next one?"

This was the only explanation since hands don’t lie.

But... this explanation seed even more absurd. Whose healing speed could be that fast?

Just call White Dragon Heiss immortal already!

The desire to complain was rising wildly, and at this mont, White Dragon Heiss extended an arm, grabbing the exhausted Fingerley and bringing him forward.

This was indeed a novel experience; he beca the first human to be picked up by White Dragon Heiss.

Now in such close contact, Fingerley could even feel the other’s breath.

"You, what do you want?"

Though he was a Gold Level adventurer, he was quite flustered when his feet left the ground.

Could it be that White Dragon Heiss wanted to communicate with ?

As this thought erged, he actually saw White Dragon Heiss open his mouth.

"You..." Fingerley also opened his mouth, wanting to say sothing.

"Swoosh!"

A crystal breath from White Dragon Heiss ca rushing at him, enveloping him instantly.

The next second, Heiss let go.

Encased in crystallization, Fingerley fell from the sky, creating a pit in the solid ground.

White Dragon Heiss, WIN!

...

"Wow!"

Fingerley suddenly awoke from the darkness, instinctively letting out a shout.

His eyes seed to rember being passed out by White Dragon Heiss’s breath, and when he opened them, he found himself in a different place, greeted by an unlit bonfire before him.

Seeing the bonfire instantly set Fingerley at ease, but the strange sensation from his body couldn’t be comforted by the bonfire’s reassurance; now, he felt entirely uncomfortable.

It wasn’t a simple pain, but felt like his whole body had turned into a completely different substance that didn’t belong to him. Every command from his brain to move his limbs had a delay, and sotis the thought of lifting a hand turned into lifting a foot.

His body felt as heavy as stone, and his movents were severely hampered; a few Living Dead Soldiers could probably take his life in this state.

"That crystal is strange, it must be affecting ..."

With great effort, Fingerley moved his body to sit on the ground, pondering over when the negative effects of the crystal breath would disappear. Unlike a lingering curse death, lasting days would be unbearable.

He couldn’t help but reflect on White Dragon Heiss, finding himself full of emotions.

"The guys that appear in imagery are indeed stronger."

White Dragon Heiss’s strength wasn’t just ordinary; even within this brief encounter, he believed that even if his whole team were to challenge, the chance of victory was slim.

It’s inconceivable to think of a way to conquer it.

White Dragon Heiss could not only manipulate the massive amount of natural crystals in the cave for attacks, but also conjure various crystal forms with magic, the first ability alone being hard enough to tackle, and these crystals gave it exceptional mobility; an average adventurer wouldn’t think of attacking it.

The most outrageous part was that even if he barely reached White Dragon Heiss and swung a weapon, the attack would be rendered ineffective due to its unreasonable super-speed regeneration ability.

"Is that recovery speed sothing normal creatures should have?"

What do you an, that hundreds of slashes I delivered in two seconds were all healed in the sa ti fra?

If this were a ga, White Dragon Heiss could be deed a super disgustingly powerful boss creature just with that trait.

"Is this what Divine Level combat power is, entirely different from past encounters..."

Reflecting on all the boss monsters he had encountered so far, none seed as oppressive as White Dragon Heiss, oh no, the Naless King was even more imposing since he never even got close to its body.

The Storm Dragon next to the Naless King seed to lower its intimidation.

In Fingerley’s view, the Storm Dragon appeared almost cuddly, like an oversized plush toy.

"Does Sain Dungeon aim to create such insolvable foes?"

He thought for a mont, finding it unlikely.

"There must be a way to weaken White Dragon Heiss, like how the Wolf Ring works against the Abyss, I need to find that thing."

Though he said it, he had no clue if such an item truly existed to weaken White Dragon Heiss, what it looked like, or its effects.

Where should he begin looking?

Thinking of this, Fingerley sighed and reached towards the bonfire to feel so warmth, realizing only then that the bonfire wasn’t lit.

Wait, why am I in front of an unlit bonfire?

He suddenly lifted his head, exclaiming with shock and confusion:

"Where am I?"

It looked like he might be in a cell?

Yes, an iron-barred cell adorned with crystals, with a snake-man leaning on it asleep, with sleep so sound it wasn’t disturbed by his shouting.

Fingerley blinked in confusion, habitually reaching out to light the bonfire, then wandered around this rather large cell, knocking on walls but finding nothing.

No hidden doors, no enemies, no fellow inmates, just a bonfire!

He tried it, the power from the Royal Artifact allowed him to teleport out of the cell through the bonfire.

But even if he teleported out, wouldn’t he still be confined when he returned?

How would other adventurers without a Royal Artifact escape from the cell?

Fingerley carefully examined the sleeping snake-man, who was nearly naked save for a ragged apron, with no keys or similar items on its waist, stealing the keys was clearly not an option.

As for breaking out with brute force, he tried, but the cell bars had crystallized, impossible to break with just his hands.

By the way, Fingerley’s weapons had all disappeared, hidden sowhere unknown, reminiscent of when he was unard in the Northern Undead Asylum.

There was no way out.

"Could it be, another ’Oscar’ will co to rescue ?"

With that thought, Fingerley sat down by the bonfire, waiting obediently for saviors like a good child.

He sat there for two hours.

"Where is everyone!"

He waited and waited but no one ca to rescue him! Where was the heavenly rescue!

Annoyed, he glared at the sleeping snake-man, taking off his deford arm armor to shape it into sothing sharp, and stabbed it into the snake-man’s waist.

Why could this alien bastard sleep so soundly while I’m jailed here?

The snake-man let out a miserable cry, falling to the ground and turning into ash swiftly, faster than Fingerley expected.

"I rember snake-n being quite tough, don’t I?"

At this mont, he found a new white light point where the snake-man had fallen, and picked it up for a look.

[Library Tower Cell Key]

"...."

Fingerley couldn’t help but give himself a slap.
