"Sir, what are you trying to do!"
When the Death Miasma blew from behind the Great Mage, the group of startled and angry Necromancers in front of him still addressed him with respect.
The Great Mage struck the ground with his Magic Wand, and instantly a wall made of various bones rose up behind him, separating him from the Death Miasma. He even managed to pull a tombstone behind him at the sa ti.
The others imdiately sought refuge behind anything, whether tombstones or anything capable of blocking the miasma, while a few managed to instantaneously summon bone walls to block the miasma just like the Great Mage did.
However, there was one person who didn’t escape in ti; she was engulfed by the Death Miasma and her entire body was reduced to stark white bones in an instant.
The skeleton had not yet fallen when suddenly a blue Spiritual Fire ignited in the hollow eye sockets, and its teeth and claws mutated into sharper forms in an instant, lunging at the nearest Necromancer who had just taken cover and yanking him out unexpectedly.
In an instant, there were now two skeletons, which were still mutating towards an alien form, lunging at the other Necromancers.
A Necromancer behind the bone wall raised a hand and pointed at the skeletons, and a dark Magic Power Beam shattered them into a pile of bone fragnts, rendering them unable to rise again.
Yet, the scattered bone debris transford into explosive bursts of Magic Flas, illuminating the Giant Tomb for a mont.
Fortunately, the others reacted in ti, raising Protective Shields to block the flas.
There was no need to guess; this series of manipulations of corpses was evidently the handiwork of the Great Mage.
"Tai Fengli’an, you bastard, what on earth are you trying to do!?"
This ti, the group of Necromancers could no longer maintain their respectful address towards the Great Mage, directly shouting his na in furious curses.
"What am I doing?"
The Great Mage let out a faint chuckle, and with a wave of his hand, four Bone Beastn rose from the soil.
"Of course, it is to cleanse the remnants of the old era."
"You!"
"You really dare to—"
"Kill him!"
The Necromancers, with eyes wide open in anger, ignored the ongoing Death Miasma as they began summoning their respective Undead Creatures. They possessed the special ability to store Undead Creatures in their Magic Wands through a contract, and in an instant, the area was filled with various skeletal forms.
Undead Creatures weren’t limited to skeletons, but only skeletons could move unhard in the Death Miasma, and the skeletons summoned by the Necromancers had already numbered over a hundred!
In comparison, the Bone Beastn on the Great Mage’s side seed sowhat outnumbered.
"Die!"
The Necromancers launched a full-force assault as soon as they attacked, fully aware of the Great Mage’s strength and realizing that since he attacked them first, he might have other hidden tricks; they wanted a quick resolution, as the longer it dragged on, the more unexpected incidents could occur.
At this mont, the Death Miasma suddenly ceased.
The Great Mage manipulated the bone walls behind him to form the shape of a wheelchair and summoned his two dosticated Wheel Skeletons. Together, they combined to form an automatic wheelchair carrying him away at high speed!
"I’ll take my leave, you scurry away like frightened rats, hahaha—"
The Rolling Wheels sped off far quicker than any Undead Creature that could be used as a mount, rushing the Great Mage far into the distance in the blink of an eye, with new Undead Creatures slowly growing along the road he traveled.
"Damn, that bastard!"
Most people imdiately summoned Undead Creatures that could serve as mounts for the chase, but soone stopped them, saying, "Wait, what if there’s an ambush up ahead?"
"No, precisely up ahead is unlikely to have an ambush. I know Tai Fengli’an very well." An apparently seasoned Necromancer pointed to the road they had co from:
"That remark he made was a taunt, ant to provoke us into chasing him, but do you think we are the kind to be goaded into irrational actions by just a single remark?"
Everyone shook their heads.
"So, to proceed prudently, we absolutely won’t actively chase that guy; he also would have guessed that we would turn back to leave the Dungeon."
Saying this, the seasoned one scattered Spiritual Fire towards the road they had traveled.
The ground burned by the Spiritual Fire instantly lit up with dazzling magical dust, and people widened their eyes upon seeing this powder.
"Dust that attracts Undead Creatures! When was it scattered?"
This magical powder had an extrely strong adhesive property, making it difficult to remove by ordinary ans once it had tainted sothing. More critically, this stuff would attract Undead Creatures, even those kiloters away could detect its scent, at which point they would beco violent and aggressive, with their Combat Power surging!
The road they had traveled was a one-way path, and now, having been sprinkled with powder, it was unavoidable to beco contaminated with this stuff.
The monsters of Sain Dungeon were known for appearing from unpredictable places, even on what seed like a one-way street, threats could co from all around, 360 degrees.
"This alone is not enough; that bastard has definitely prepared more traps, I was wondering why he volunteered to cover the rear, he clearly had ulterior motives."
Upon realizing this series of sinister traps laid by the Great Mage, everyone was enraged, gritting their teeth, but at this mont, the seasoned one ominously chuckled.
