How should one describe this feeling? This feeling of being saved in the direst monts.

Tami stared dumbfoundedly at Elsa’s figure engaged in battle. Due to his limited education, he couldn’t co up with any eloquent words to describe his inner feelings.

His heart was probably just pounding.

Speaking of which, there was a ti during an exploration of a dungeon when he was also saved by Captain Luluwo. His feelings at that ti were quite similar to now.

When he asked Luluwo how to describe this feeling, the captain just slapped [Painting World’s "Wolf Knight"] onto his face and said:

"You’ll understand after Soraldo saves you a few tis."

To this day, Tami dared not recall the eight days he was trapped in Ulashiro. No one knows how he finally managed to escape.

Thanks to the full assistance of the Sun Warrior known as "Solar," he was able to leave the Painting World. Without Solar’s help, he truly would have been trapped in there.

Speaking of which, apart from Solar, thanks to the "residual shadows" left by many predecessors who died in the Painting World, Tami was able to avoid many dangers in advance. Especially a guy nad "Dal," who left a particularly large number of death shadows. Everyone who entered the Painting World had at least seen him.

In fact, if Sain hadn’t dynamically balanced the difficulty for him at that ti, even with two Solars, he couldn’t have made it through Ulashiro.

Thanks to his experiences in the Painting World, Tami subconsciously imagined that those who helped him were like the Sun, probably because Solar was a Sun Warrior.

He always wanted to collect Solar’s statue, but unfortunately, Bed family didn’t produce this type of rchandise. The challenge of Painting World "Wolf Knight" was very high, and only a small fraction of people would enter it, resulting in Solar’s popularity remaining high only within a small circle.

It’s really a pity. If he could et Solar in another place soday, that would be great. I really hope everyone can understand what it ans to praise the Sun.

Why are my thoughts wandering? We are now facing a life-and-death crisis!

Tami ca back to his senses, struggling to stand up and help. But when he looked up, he saw that Elsa had already wiped out all the Casas Warriors and even scattered the soul-chasing ones with her greatsword.

She was simply a War God!

He could hardly rember how many tis he had zoned out today. Just then, he saw Elsa, the "Sun" who helped him, walking toward him. His injured leg hurt uncontrollably, and his body fell backward.

Elsa extended a hand to him just in ti!

Is she going to help up? What a kind girl. I think I might have a slight crush—

"Thud!"

The pain from the back of his head snapped him out of his fantasy. He sat on the ground, dazed. What was going on? Wasn’t she going to help up?

He watched as Elsa lifted his coat and rummaged through it, finally taking the piece of chocolate that had dropped from the jar. The chocolate was broken, but the young girl treasured it, carefully picking up a small piece and putting it in her mouth, imdiately showing a look of happiness.

"Huh?" Tami was dumbfounded.

"Hmm?" Elsa quickly protected the chocolate, her eyes darting around. She finally pointed firmly at the chocolate and said, "Compensation."

Tami slowly opened his mouth, making a bewildered sound.

Noises ca from upstairs as several figures jumped down. They were all dressed in uniform gear with the White Eagle emblem on them.

"Els... Gus, are you alright? Are you hurt?" A comparatively smaller figure ran to Elsa, looking around anxiously.

Another familiar face, the long-lost third son of the Bed family — Sali.

It turned out that after leaving Bed City, these two had gone through an unknown journey and were now settled with the Light Eagle Group.

Elsa raised her arm to show her muscles, indicating she was very healthy, and handed the chocolate to Sali.

"Food? Where’d you find it? We haven’t found any supplies for two days."

Elsa pointed her hand toward Tami.

At this mont, the injured boy was surrounded by several nacing rcenaries. One grabbed his collar and shouted, "Where did you co from, how did you discover this dungeon, and why are you secretly following us?"

Tami gritted his teeth, slapped away the rcenary’s hand, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and said, "I was going to ask why you were following us. Don’t you know the rules? Are you spies from another Strategy Group?"

"What Strategy Group spies? I don’t get it. This kid is really annoying. Watch —"

"Hold it!"

Sali tightly grabbed the rcenary’s arm, stalling the muscle-bound limb, thicker than his own thigh.

"Sa... Deputy Leader, this kid is very suspicious!"

"Everyone looks suspicious to you, don’t they? How many tis do I have to tell you to be calm? You start a fight and ss everything up!" Sali glared at the rcenary, who hung his head and retreated obediently.

"Who are you?" Tami eyed Sali cautiously.

"I’m Sali, Deputy Leader of the Light Eagle Group’s Charging Team," Sali showed a friendly expression, taking out a bottle of Healing Potion and evenly sprinkling it on Tami’s wounds. The rcenaries nearby winced in pain.

This type of Potion... So the bottles I found before were discarded by them, Tami thought.

But the Light Eagle Group... The na sounds so familiar. I rember it’s the invincible rcenary group that serves the King. What are they doing here?

Before he could speak, Sali asked, "Are you an adventurer from Bed City?"

"Yeah, what’s up?" Tami couldn’t understand why the other party asked that. The only way to enter the Casas Underground Tomb is through the Sain Dungeon near Bed City.

"Bed City?" The rcenaries looked at each other, their expressions very strange, all looking confused.

Only Sali showed an interested smile, while helping Tami up, he said:

"Let’s go, we’ll talk in a safer place."

——————————

After a while, at a secluded place, the group took a short break, with two rcenaries guarding outside.

"So, you’re saying that you found a Teleportation Gate near your rcenary group’s base, so you ca in, got stuck here for four days, and used up all your supplies?"

Tami said incredulously, "But I clearly ca in through the Teleportation Gate of the Sain Dungeon. The distance between Bed City and the Royal Capital, even riding a Griffin..."

As soon as he heard the word "Sain," Sali couldn’t help but shiver, but he quickly concealed it and said while thinking:

"So the Sain Teleportation Gate sohow appeared near us. Dungeons are really hard to understand..." He was silent for a mont, then said, "But it’s okay, similar incidents are recorded in history, this level of mutation doesn’t seem to be a big deal."

He looked very nonchalant on the surface, which made Tami admire him a lot, he really envied how soone could stay so calm in such a situation.

On the surface, Sali was smiling, but inwardly he was cursing.

[God damn it, Sain is still chasing !]

The little man in his heart was already going crazy! Why did he leave Bed City in the first place, wasn’t it to avoid Sain, the place that left him with indelible psychological trauma?

And now, just great, he had finally found a new place to settle, and the Sain Dungeon had co knocking again!

When he didn’t know, it was fine. But after learning from Tami that the Casas Underground Tomb belonged to the Sain Dungeon, Sali felt uncomfortable all over, as if a Dragon Hunter Armor riding a Storm Dragon could pop out from any corner and cleave him with an axe, just like it did to his father Philip.

"By the way, do you know how to get out of here?" Sali maintained his smile, but his heart was already shattered.

"No idea at all, my teammates and I..." Tami was about to answer, but suddenly realized, glanced at the other rcenaries, and said seriously, "I am a formal mber of the Skyrim Strategy Group, and I entered the dungeon with our leader ’Black Bat’ Luluwo. Although we got separated, everyone should be looking for now."

He still had to stay vigilant, although Sali and "Gus" seed friendly enough, the other rcenaries gave him an uncomfortable feeling.

[Danger Perception] didn’t go off, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

"This kid," one rcenary got the hint from Tami, "Tsk."

"Well, this is troubling."

Sali stood up, dusted off his clothes, and said, "Our supplies are already exhausted, and we’re lost, unable to find the exit. We’ll either starve to death or be killed by monsters."

"Didn’t you sit down at the bonfire when you ca in?" Tami asked curiously. The bonfire should be near the Teleportation Gate, and in such a situation, people shouldn’t be getting lost and trapped.

Upon hearing this, the rcenaries’ faces turned even darker, and one said, "We haven’t seen any bonfire at all, and..."

"The Teleportation Crystal we hurriedly prepared was defective, couldn’t carry too many heavy items," Sali sighed, "We couldn’t bear to leave behind our equipnt, and souls."

Got it, they must have gathered a lot of good stuff in those four days of exploration and were reluctant to let go.

A mont of silence followed, and finally, Sali asked, "By the way, do you have any food left? We can buy it."

The chocolate just now had been equally shared among the rcenaries by Elsa, well, maybe not so equally, as she had secretly stashed a small piece for herself.

"If it’s food, there should be so over there," Tami ntioned the jar, making Sali click his tongue in wonder, "We passed through that place too, but never got any food out of it."

She consulted the others and they decided to take their chances together, as they were completely out of food, and without it, they wouldn’t have the strength to fight monsters.

Tami watched their backs, hesitated for a mont, but in the end didn’t say anything about going with them. He feared human nature more than the dungeon’s horrors.

It was a lesson taught by childhood experiences.

Sali saw through his thoughts and didn’t issue an invitation either but said, "If you’re planning to leave, you’d better hurry. Actually, we’re cursed and being hunted. If you stay with us too long, maybe you’ll..."

Before he could finish, a line of text appeared before Tami’s eyes.

[Invaded by Red Spirit "Man-Eating Milurit"!]

"Damn, too late." Sali shook his head helplessly, "You’d better run now and hope she doesn’t target you as well."

An invader? Soone was already invading the new area right after it opened?

Tami couldn’t help but marvel at these bad guys’ determination, but he noticed the rcenaries’ expressions were sowhat unnatural.

"Damn it, no matter how we kill her, she keeps coming back, can’t shake her off," one rcenary said through gritted teeth, "She ate all my brothers!"

Another rcenary angrily smashed a fist against the wall and cursed:

"It’s all the fault of that Overlord Vonier, and that damned Patch!"

Wait, was there a strange na mixed in there?
