There’s currently no other place for the Molten Iron Hamr, it’s just big and heavy, better give it up.
Leon and Drew walked back a bit until they ran into Maru, who was looking pale, and Tal, who seed dispirited; you wouldn’t likely be laughing if sothing weighing over a thousand pounds smashes into you.
Going back and forth took quite a lot of ti, and they found so paths they hadn’t seen before and explored them for a while. By the ti they passed through the building guarded by two Exiles, two hours had passed, and the outside world should already be dark.
As they went deeper, there were noticeably more Magicians wearing big hats. These small guys wearing minimal cloth beca the best way for them to relieve stress, and compared to the heavy-armored cans, the feeling of blades hitting flesh is indeed much more delightful.
When there were more magician-type enemies, Leon felt that they might encounter elites related to magic, and it turned out he was right.
In the large area of the last dilapidated building, they encountered a particularly familiar enemy.
[Crystal Elder]
"My gosh, not going to run around everywhere again, right..." Maru showed a frustrated expression.
"We have to deal with him quickly, before he escapes."
However, this Crystal Elder was quite different from the one they encountered in the Magic Academy.
Not only was the frequency of his flashes reduced, but the power of the spells decreased, and bizarrely, the effect color had turned purple, leaving plenty to ponder. Besides, the space was smaller than that of the Magic Academy, making the battle a bit easier than anticipated.
The Magic Academy’s Crystal Elder was C , whereas this one seed to be standard C. After all, the boss of a fifty-person raid and a ten-person raid can’t have the sa strength, right?
Gong Qiying, when designing the Dungeon’s monster strengths, no longer adhered rigidly to their original power settings; both enhancents or reductions were possible.
The battle didn’t last very long, the Crystal Elder’s flashes and clones remained troubleso, causing so difficulty, yet ultimately everyone helplessly looted Gold Coins from him.
[Crystal Elder’s soul] obtained, you could go to the Undead Team’s bonfire to have Rudes forge soul.
A bonfire was established behind the Crystal Elder boss battlefield, marking the ti for the Dungeon’s closure nearing, as a bell rang in the distance.
"The areas ahead can only be explored tomorrow."
Leon stretched his sore arms, saying, "Forget it, let’s take a rest tomorrow."
Today yielded plenty; tomorrow he could sleep in at ho, sort out the intelligence, and explore the Dungeon the day after tomorrow.
"Boss," Maru suddenly looked at him teary-eyed, appearing pitiful, "today was so hard, I want so good food."
"Alright, alright."
Leon smiled, the group took advantage of the Dungeon still being open and teleported to the Casas Underground Tomb, and shortly after reappeared in the Royal City to have a filling al at a restaurant.
Once they finished their al and were about to find a hotel to rest, a stranger suddenly walked up.
"You’re Leon from the Bed City Strategy Group, right?"
The newcor’s a handso blond guy similar to Leon, just giving off a slightly greasy vibe.
"I’m Leon, do you need sothing?" Leon raised his head to look at the man, confirming he didn’t know him.
Naturally, the young stranger exuded a calm aura, not in character, but in strength.
The guy seed like solid steel, with power tightly consolidated in his body, making him appear ordinary at first glance.
A strong adversary, undoubtedly stronger than Leon? Nope, but a touch more powerful, maybe.
"I’m Fingerley, also an adventurer. I’ve heard of your deeds lately, been wanting to co and admire your visage, indeed outstanding."
Leon, observing the man nad Fingerley, instinctively felt he wasn’t just there for a look.
Sure enough, Fingerley pulled out a letter from his pocket, handing it over, saying, "Your mother entrusted to deliver this letter to you, originally I intended to visit the Guild, luckily I t you here."
My mother? My mom’s already passed away... oh, stepmother then.
Leon’s expression turned dull all of a sudden, stating, "Thanks, but what’s your relation to my family?"
"I was supported by your father when I first started, but there hasn’t been much contact in recent years, our relationship isn’t publicly known, thus your unfamiliarity is normal."
Fingerley patted Leon’s shoulder, chuckling, "Well, the letter’s delivered, my task’s complete, goodbye."
Leon was about to say goodbye too, yet Fingerley added another sentence upon turning to leave:
"Thanks for your strategy guide, allowing and my companions to beco the third group to defeat the Overlord Vonier. Hoping to collaborate when you reach Gold Level too, I’m looking forward to it."
The third group to defeat the Overlord Vonier?
Before he could fully inquire, Fingerley vanished without a trace.
Then, Drew leaned over, saying, "From what I know, we’re the first to defeat the Overlord, followed by Luluwo’s team, as for the third one..."
His expression turned surprised, announcing, "It’s the Gold Level ’Hasavi’ Team! Was the guy who just left their captain ’Flash’ Fingerley?"
Upon the release of the Overlord strategy, everyone thought the Light Eagle Group would be the third to defeat the Overlord Vonier, yet the truth was, until now they hadn’t succeeded.
Before them, multiple teams have secured victory, drawn by Sain’s fa, surpassing Eliphas and Liffis, including the Hasavi Team.
To be honest, the Hasavi Team is quite low-key in the Gold Level, allegedly they consist of only three mbers, even completing major commissions doesn’t see them boasting everywhere, no wonder walking down the street no one recognizes them.
"The boss’s dad actually sponsored such individuals?" Maru was equally surprised.
Leon, however, showed little response, waving it off, not caring about such matters, after all, supporting Gold Level teams doesn’t matter much, he could now apply for advancent at the Guild with his strength.
Could it be his dad commissioned a Gold Level team to beat him up?
"Rip—"
He tore open his stepmother’s letter right there, after publicly assaulting his father and sister he severed ties with his family, initially thinking they’d hold grudges, yet a letter arrived.
What would it contain? Curses? Requests? Or the least likely reconciliation?
The incident then had vast fallout, seemingly he had shad his elder, leaving no chance of reconciliation with his family.
Upon truly seeing the content, Leon fell into a prolonged silence.
"What’s wrong, boss?" Maru asked worriedly, only to have him hand over the letter, instructing, "See for yourself."
After Maru read it, she too beca silent, passing the letter to Drew, who widened his eyes before handing it to Tal.
Tal scratched his head, hesitantly asking:
"What does it an, boss, that your dad and sister both ran away from ho?"
