The Deep Bishop horde, the word "horde" really is fitting.
Just a mont ago, everyone was discussing whether bishops appearing in droves like small monsters in the Deep Church seed too degrading; now there’s no way to even comnt.
Matilda suddenly glared at Fingerley. What did this guy say not long ago? "If I were designing it, I would make hundreds and thousands of Deep Bishops appear. That would be interesting." "Sain’s current design lacks excitent."
Well, here’s the hamr you asked for.
Fingerley smiled awkwardly, but his gaze remained fixed on the giant coffin surrounded by the Deep Bishops.
He could sense that once a powerful being had resided within the coffin, but now that being had left, leaving the black ooze on the coffin’s exterior. These black ooze creatures shared the sa aura as the monsters resembling black slis on the first floor of the church, known as:

Only now did he recall the bonfire image he watched not long ago; this giant coffin seed to be the coffin of the "Deep Saint" Eldritch!
In this way, the presence of the Deep Bishop horde here does seem reasonable; they’re all gathered to protect the Saint’s coffin, lending a mysterious religious air to the bishops, making them feel anything but degraded.
And this religious mystique, reflected in the Deep Church, transford into a "horror" feeling.
Hundreds of red glowing eyes uniformly stared at the adventurers, the nightmare materialized in the mont.
Compared to past Sain bosses, the Deep Bishop horde lacked the swagger and oppression, but they certainly looked pretty terrifying.
The Deep Bishops raised their ritualistic weapons high, with fireballs of various sizes materializing in the air, raining down upon everyone like the teor Fire Rain.
The slow-moving fireballs used to be ridiculed, but now, when they all appear together and slowly drift toward everyone, a sense of oppression erges.
"Aleya!"
No need for Fingerley to speak, Aleya had already summoned a towering wall of trees in front of everyone, each entwined with frost, seemingly from the far northern region, excellently blocking fla magic.
Aleya’s thod of summoning plant life to aid in battle looked quite similar to Steeran’s Aunt Vienma’s fighting style, but the forr needed seeds, whereas the latter created them out of thin air, highlighting a disparity in skill.
The endless explosions of fireballs couldn’t disperse the cold brought by the Deep, and at this mont, everyone’s gaze fell on Fingerley, obviously listening to his instructions.
"Could it be that the victory condition is to take down all the bishops?"
Fingerley glanced around at everyone. As far as the bishops were concerned, the Bone Stick Team could handle them. Although there were many monsters, each one was rather weak; as long as they watched out for the "magic" they cast, perhaps the Deep Bishop horde could beco the easiest boss in Sain’s history.
"Focus on ranged attacks, avoid close combat unless necessary, magicians release cold protective shields to block the fireballs, rember, everyone, know your limits, safety first."
Fingerley patted his chest, revealing a dependable adult smile: "Leave the biggest trouble to us!"
The battle was on the verge of breaking out. Aleya cultivated plants to divide the battlefield, trapping the most Deep Bishops together with the Hasavi Team, leaving only a few enemies for the Bone Stick Team.
The number of bishops had already surpassed a hundred; counting them would be pointless. But as they engaged, Fingerley realized sothing.
Although the number of enemies had increased, they hadn’t reached a transformative level!
The bishops were essentially fighting independently, just monsters from different places gathered here. They could easily make repeated incursions.
They also had no shortage of wide-area attack skills; it seed they could achieve victory in a very short ti!
Fingerley felled one bishop after another, Matilda’s fists also taking down pairs at a ti, resulting in the previously intimidating numbers steadily decreasing, the situation looking very promising.
However, in the split battlefield, panic-filled shouts suddenly ca from the Bone Stick Team’s side.
"What’s going on?" Fingerley jumped over to take a look, nearly swearing in exasperation, turning to Aleya and asking: "What’s happening, didn’t you only leave them very few enemies?"
Aleya nodded in confusion; she had only left about ten bishops for the Bone Stick Team.
"Then what do you make of this group of guys!?"
Aleya peeked over for a glimpse, almost dismantling herself in fright like a straw man.
Originally, to protect the Bone Stick Team, she had partitioned them with a dozen bishops at the edge of the battlefield, thinking that after dealing with the bishops, they could remain there secure and idle, but...
Now this small space was packed with Deep Bishops, crowding around the Bone Stick Team, giving the impression of sardines in a can!
"When did there beco so many!?" The visual impact was so overwhelming that Aleya was too scared to speak, and her voice ca out as a crisp child’s voice.
With so many packed together, even if the Bone Stick Team wanted to resist, they couldn’t. Even the magic used by the Deep Bishops couldn’t reach them, leading to a primitive battle using fists and mouths.
