The position of guild leader of the adventurer’s guild cos with quite a few benefits.
Not to ntion the rather mundane riches, Ceder can freely use so of the powerful items stored within the guild.
Although his public identity is rely a branch leader in Bed City, his experience and strength have earned him quite a reputation among the people.
For example, the ring he currently wears is a rare item borrowed from the guild’s inventory. It’s a product blessed by the gods of ti and space, created with the painstaking effort of master forgers and enchanters, given a very pretentious and complex na by people.
But Ceder generally prefers to call it: storage ring.
This precious item, though its storage space may not be larger than a small storeroom, proves extraordinarily useful at tis. Ceder has "appropriated" it for several years now.
Like now, he can whip out wondrous little gadgets anyti, just like Doraemon.
"Please, Solar, put on the equipnt I’ve ticulously prepared for you."
He waved his hand, and a whole set of armors that looked incredibly cool, along with undeniably impressive weapons, appeared on the ground. There was even a Night and Fire Sword, a reward from the teor Shower event. How did he get it?
Actually, not only the Night and Fire Sword, but the guild has also collected so of the rewards from the teor Shower event, more or less.
Examples include the [teor Staff], [Gravity Ball], [One teor], and so on.
"You...."
Solar casually picked up a piece of armor, and it fit his physique perfectly in every aspect, as if it was custom-made for him. None of the equipnt wasn’t ready for use the mont he picked it up.
How did he know my size!?
Don’t underestimate Ceder’s intelligence network! The adventurer’s guild has docunted the physique data of all residual shadows that appeared in Sain Dungeon. Whether it’s the broadness of Solar’s chest or the firmness of his thighs, the adventurer’s guild knows it all!
These pieces of equipnt were specifically selected by Ceder, crafted by master enchanters. Although they’re not the guild’s most treasured valuables—they’re all protected by the guild’s chief leader to begin with—they can still positively contribute to combat.
Since the decision was made to assist Solar, he had to be fully prepared in all aspects.
However, the response from the other side caught him completely off guard.
"Sorry for wasting your effort, but I won’t change out of my own gear." Solar shook his head and said.
"Why?" Ceder raised an eyebrow, puzzled as to why soone would refuse when offered excellent equipnt.
Does Solar wear top-tier gear himself? No way. Ceder is very confident in his own judgnt. He could tell at a glance that all the equipnt on Solar was just ordinary armor, with no special effects at all.
To think that Solar charged into Yanor Londo wearing such gear?
Faced with his doubt, Solar patted his chest and sincerely stated:
"Faith in the Sun will protect , and I’m already accustod to my current equipnt."
Ceder and the face of the sun on Solar’s chest quietly exchanged looks, and nodded, putting away the equipnt.
He understood the other party’s mindset and respected the power of such faith. While he knew he couldn’t discard stronger equipnt for faith, he still couldn’t help but jest:
The face drawn on that sun really makes it hard for to stay serious...
However, so of the potions with power-enhancing effects he offered were accepted by Solar, which was a good thing.
The journey from here to the boss battle area wasn’t too far, with monsters to deal with along the way like Stone Statue Ghosts, giant guards, and nurous Silver Knights.
Because of Gong Qiying’s rcy, the two Great Recovery casting giants before the Ornstein duo boss battle arena in the ga weren’t placed upfront, but instead sowhere else in the castle.
On the way to the castle, Ceder and Solar conducted their first collaboration.
A series of augntation spells were applied to Solar almost instantly, with the power enhancent of the spells based on the enhancee’s own strength. Clearly, his strength allowed him to utilize these spells perfectly.
In a flash of lightning, the Stone Statue Ghost’s sturdy wrist was directly severed, whereas before, it could only be half-cut!
The thrown Thunder Spear blasted a deep pit into its chest, even though Stone Statue Ghosts have higher resistance to Thunder compared to other elents.
When it was about to fly into the sky, Ceder, who was engaging another Stone Statue Ghost, turned around and used a [Gravity Ball] to hit it, dragging the Stone Statue Ghost, whose feet had just left the ground, back with gravity!
But he seed to have overestimated his own strength, as the Stone Statue Ghost shook its arm and almost caused Ceder to stumble, quickly resorting to another spell.
Multiple Mage’s Hand, significantly larger than usual, simultaneously grasped the monster’s legs tightly, and then Solar rushed over and decapitated the Stone Statue Ghost with one slash.
In just a mont, the two Stone Statue Ghosts were completely wiped out under their cooperation.
"Great teamwork." Ceder raised his palm.
Solar was montarily dazed, then was seized by the arm, high-fiving the other as their celebration.
But he had his own celebration ritual.
"Praise the Sun!"
After defeating a formidable enemy, he would strike such a pose, seemingly to cheer himself up yet also to show respect to the enemy.
Ceder shook his head. He didn’t quite grasp this art of behavior and felt a bit awkward, albeit with no malice.
