The necklace made of Warrior Pot Fragnts hung on his neck, his robe fluttered open, and the item version of the Golden Tree Oath fell to the ground and automatically activated.
All of this was accomplished within re seconds, everything sourced from the guild’s inventory. After that, Ceder held the Night and Fire Sword and assud a stance, azure magic power gathering on the blade.
This is the derived skill of the combat skill [Night and Fire Stance], similar to a certain origin magic...
teor Yazler!
A torrent of surging magic power crashed into Smough’s massive form, and the latter staggered, suddenly turning to smash towards him!
Ceder had anticipated dodging away, thinking: It’s effective! It can cause damage! That’s why he turned to attack !
But Smough, after pursuing him for a short while, targeted Solar instead. Ceder used the sa trick again, attracting the enemy’s attention.
Repeating this process, it was like dancing on the edge of a blade, and everything seed to be going well,
but he still made a mistake for a mont, an internal injury flaring up and causing him to cough incessantly, getting struck down by lightning on the ground.
This battle simply couldn’t allow any injuries, because even a small lightning strike on the ground could be fatal, let alone for Ceder, a truly fragile magician in the traditional sense.
Discouragent was impossible, since a stable strategy had been found, the rest was up to ti and luck.
Attempt after attempt brought a constant accumulation of experience,
from initially steadily killing monsters and progressing through the map, to later, Ceder could even run past with Solar, as if he was as familiar as going back ho.
Eventually, he even developed the ability to predict the monster’s positions and the direction of their first attack, appearing almost miraculous.
In battles against the boss, he tried swapping opponents with Solar, letting Solar first defeat the slightly weaker Smough.
The result was less than ideal; Ornstein’s strength exceeded Ceder’s expectations, especially his terrifying speed and impeccable spear techniques. Each move felt like hunting an Ancient Dragon, causing Ceder to wonder if he was a dragon himself during the battle.
But if he truly were a dragon, at least he wouldn’t have died just by getting grazed by the Dragon Hunting Spear.
He started to think that reallocating so life force level to intelligence wasn’t a good idea.
Out of desperation, he put on the armor originally prepared for Solar and switched back to his opponent.
How many tis had he challenged now? He was a little unclear, his mind felt hazy like he was turning into an animated corpse.
Ceder watched as he failed to stop Smough from absorbing Ornstein’s remaining power, the opponent’s body growing larger and taller, and he could only dodge back and forth in the arena, attacking with Solar, tugging at Smough.
"Tsk, made another mistake."
He could no longer use the calming technique because the ntal fatigue left no room for other thoughts, only slight annoyance when he made a mistake.
Watching Smough charge like a heavily armored vehicle with his giant hamr in hand, Ceder sighed.
"It’s boring..."
He had to restart again; maybe he should take a break first?
As Smough charged down to rely a few ters away, lightning scorched his white hair, and he closed his eyes, preparing to face death.
But at this mont, the anticipated impact did not arrive; instead, he was pushed away.
"What are you standing there for!"
Ceder opened his eyes to see Solar get knocked flying away, saving him.
"Hiss..."
He gritted his teeth, scrambled up from the ground, and desperately threw a Recovery Technique at Solar.
"Just because you always save , I feel bad about giving up."
Ceder took out a crystal from his storage ring, a reward that an adventurer acquired by chance from killing a monster in an unexpected clash, containing a powerful ancient magic nad [One teor]. Crushing it would unleash this magic on the enemy.
But its drawback was that it was a one-ti use and would drain the user’s life force, so the adventurer eventually chose to sell it to the guild.
"Just one last hit with this, even if I die, at least let see the enemy fall before I do."
Ceder locked his eyes on Smough, ready to crush the crystal.
"Boom!"
With a single hamr blow, the lightning that erupted this ti surpassed anything before, Ceder’s instincts causing him to swiftly soar into the sky, not even having ti to crush the crystal.
"What’s going on, is there still potential?"
His expression turned grim; logically, after all this ti, it should have ended, right?
How mighty were the heroes of ancient tis?
As the lightning dissipated, Ceder’s grim expression suddenly changed to surprise.
Because the oppressive feeling that enveloped the arena earlier had vanished without a trace!
Looking back below, Smough maintained the posture of swinging his giant hamr, but didn’t move.
In the next mont, his massive body toppled to the ground with a thud, with the hamr in his hand beginning to disintegrate first.
Huh? Dead?
Smough’s figure suddenly shuddered, which made Ceder nervous again, thinking the opponent had co back to life, and quickly retreated.
However, it was just soone climbing out from underneath, undeniably, it was Solar.
His equipnt bore the marks of countless battles, but he still seed so spirited.
Upon seeing Ceder, Solar raised his hands and exclaid, "Praise the Sun!"
The familiar victory declaration, at this mont, Ceder no longer found this pose awkward, the sun’s rays shining through the window, enveloping Solar as if he were a perfect divine statue.
"You’re so cool!"
Ceder’s emotions, already prone to excitent, beca overly excited, and he went over and gave him a hug.
Finally, they’ve won!
Solar burst into laughter, and Ceder, infected by it, laughed as well.
"We won!"
At the sa ti, at the far end of the arena, the once tightly closed large door began slowly opening.
