After a book becos popular, imitators naturally appear. When the fa of the Sain Dungeon increased, novels featuring characters from it also began to proliferate, so selling reasonably well on the market, which led more and more authors to join in.
However, with more authors, the number of characters in the Sain Dungeon beca insufficient to write about. Inevitably, so authors’ characters clashed with each other, and so counterfeit ones erged.
What else could Elsa say? She could only hope that the real Star Little Linai would resu updates soon.
"Speaking of which, aren’t you going back to the Light Eagle Group to show your face a bit? It’s been a long ti since you were there, right?" Luluwo asked.
Elsa shook her head and said, "I went back once, t a few people, then ca back. There’s nothing to do there anyway."
So you’re here to help get rid of snacks, right?
Luluwo threw a few more novels to her, then continued reading her newspaper, pondering whether to really go to the Warrior Country and participate in the festival for fun.
But to be honest, seeing Elsa’s current behavior, has she successfully poached her?
At the sa ti, in Yilushier of the Cold Valley.
In the Light Eagle Group, so people were still paying attention to Elsa, but perhaps just a few.
Like so group mbers she was close with, like her Charging Team, like Sali.
"Warriors can’t hold on, where’s the magician? Put out the fire quickly!"
"No, the magician is already on fire!"
Inside the Great Cathedral of Yilushier, Sali was leading a group of rcenaries in a tense battle against the phantom of Pope Shalivan.
Many rcenaries were indeed scorched...
The remaining ones continued to resist desperately. In theory, they had figured out the chanism of Shalivan’s phantom and should have been fighting more effectively, yet they still looked just as haggard as before.
The main reason was that Eliphas, who was their main strength, was not here, and those adept fighting captains weren’t either—only Sali leading the elite rcenaries.
"Elsa, when can you co back..." Sali watched the retreating rcenaries, feeling completely numb.
His combat power was just at an elite level; if it ca down to a real fight, he probably couldn’t match Tami from the Skyrim Strategy Group now.
The reason why there wasn’t a single high-end strength person helping them in the battle against Pope Shalivan’s phantom was that everyone had been divided into teams for punishing missions, and without a captain, Sali’s group naturally beca the weakest in overall strength.
The reason the Light Eagle Group insisted on fighting with Shalivan’s phantom was to win Eliphas’ favor.
After a lengthy period of reclusion lasting over ten days, Eliphas finally left his room, yet was surrounded by a suffocating low pressure.
He resud his duties as a leader, handling affairs correctly and smoothly as before, yet his smile had vanished, spending his spare ti rely staring into space at the stars above.
The once well-adjusted captain suddenly beca like this; naturally, Sali, as part of the core staunch group mbers, was deeply worried, looking for every possible way to make him happy, all to no avail, so they only could target the phantom of Shalivan.
If we could get rid of the root cause, maybe the captain would be happy?
However, perhaps other teams with their captains still had hope, but there was absolutely no hope whatsoever for Sali’s side; lacking high-end strength, they might as well call it quit.
Sali couldn’t figure out why Elsa suddenly stopped coming to the Light Eagle Group. When he went to persuade her to return, she showed him an expression he couldn’t describe.
Seeing that expression, Sali couldn’t help but wonder what had caused such a change in her. Unfortunately, each ti he thought deeply about it, the red light flashing in his eyes would stop his thoughts.
And besides, the newly joined rcenaries recently had a high turnover rate, which nobody seed to understand why.
If it continued like this, it might eventually lead to an extre situation of "the Light Eagle Group isn’t disbanding, but nobody’s coming anymore."
That was absolutely sothing neither he nor Eliphas wanted to see.
As things stood, Sali urgently needed to find Elsa and bring her back.
"Ah, damn it, I’m done!"
Right at that mont, a rcenary blocking the phantom’s attack suddenly flung away his shield and ran straight into the Sanction Greatsword. He was pretty clever, even choosy about which sword to end it with for less pain.
"I’ve been released from the Dark Moon Oath by Gwendolin. Why am I even fighting Shalivan for her?" Leaving these final words, the rcenary died.
We were fighting the Shalivan phantom for the captain, weren’t we? Sali wanted to say, but the other couldn’t hear him now.
Quite a few rcenaries in the Light Eagle Group would wander into the Sain for exercise when nothing else was going on, earning so extra cash in the anti. So rcenaries got deeply involved, just like the one earlier, becoming a veteran Dark Moon Sword, but ended up being released from the Dark Moon Oath for entering the Fog Gate in Yanor Londo.
Sali conducted a brief investigation, finding that there were actually several more rcenaries in the Light Eagle Group who were also released from the oath under similar circumstances.
Amazing, when did you all enter the Sain? I distinctly rember assigning quite a number of tasks to you!
With the first person breaking down, the morale of the other rcenaries also plumted, and the battle concluded within minutes.
Resurrecting at the bonfire, Sali and the others remained silent.
