There’s a saying that goes, the more you want to avoid sothing, the more likely it is to happen.
Under normal circumstances, if they encountered the Sain Dungeon, Uffie might find it novel and interesting, and experiencing it would not be a problem.
But the key was that the current situation was not normal. They didn’t even have a teleportation crystal!
As is well known, the Sain Dungeon kindly offers bonfires, beloved by everyone, allowing adventurers to start over even if they fail, without the need to be sent outside the dungeon and wait until the next day to enter.
But the premise to start over is to find a bonfire.
Entering the Sain Dungeon without touching a bonfire ans that if you die, you’ll still consu a teleportation crystal and be teleported out.
Playing is one thing, but don’t joke with your life. For adventurers without a teleportation crystal and unable to find a bonfire, the horror of Sain is fully displayed at this mont.
Uffie felt quite troubled by this situation and scratched her head in frustration.
At this point, she couldn’t continue to convince herself that the limb-connecting nobles might not be unique to the Sain Dungeon, as that’s just self-deception. She had to make a decision imdiately.
"I’ll take care of it, you adapt to the situation."
There’s nothing to be afraid of; it’s just a limb-connecting noble.
She pulled out her spear. She had once fought the shrimp-headed limb-connecting nobles over at Lake Lienia with her father, so how could she lose to a limb-connecting noble without a shrimp head?
With that thought, Uffie charged forward like lightning, and the limb-connecting noble was not to be outdone, raising a golden weapon that resembled gold for a fierce strike. A great battle was about to erupt!
"She said we should adapt to the situation..." Isha looked around, "but there’s nowhere to hide on this vast, empty plain."
The road they ca from and the other exit were blocked by fog, making it impossible to leave. What’s more puzzling was why the fog blocking the door here wasn’t white, but a color that couldn’t be described, like gold mixed with many other pignts, slowly flowing like liquid.
It was eerie, but strangely artistic. Adventurers who were used to white fog gates felt a bit of pressure when they first saw this color-changing fog gate.
"I’ll go lend a hand, too." Fanen was eager to try. In the anti, Uffie was already engaged with the limb-connecting noble. He felt that he could sohow participate in this battle.
"Listen to Lord Uffie, don’t act rashly," Tepi said as he was the first to head away from the battlefield. "This dungeon always gives a bad feeling."
For so reason, just being in this dungeon made Tepi’s scalp tingle, as if he was inherently at odds with this dungeon.
Right, the mont he arrived here, it destroyed his residence—it must be that inherent conflict!
Fanen hesitated several tis but finally chose not to remain idle. He crouched by the side, looking for an opportunity to fire a shot, hoping to get lucky with a gun counter to give Uffie a better chance. Every rcury bullet Red had brought was limited, and each shot had to be taken carefully.
At the sa ti, the limb-connecting noble assembled a big shield to block Uffie’s spear thrust. Not a single part of its body flinched under that heavy hit, and with any free limb, it even made a sneak attack from an unexpected angle!
Uffie jumped back to dodge, showing an expression of feeling troubled.
She suddenly realized that the seemingly unremarkable limb-connecting noble might be stronger than the one at Lake Lienia?
If the limb-connecting noble at the Lake District, with its shrimp head and array of repeating crossbows, improved technique and skill, then this original skin limb-connecting noble at the Prince’s Chapel was all raw stats with no gimmicks, purely relying on brute strength!
And its shield stab was really quite good!
Uffie suddenly had a strange feeling that this limb-connecting noble might align with the traditional tastes of the Warrior Country.
In a flash, she appeared behind the limb-connecting noble, swinging her spear and causing significant damage. The limb-connecting noble then smashed backward, forcing Uffie to retreat.
Breaking through the big shield head-on was quite the effort, so flanking tactics seed like good strategy.
Just as she was about to try the sa tactic again, she suddenly noticed the limb-connecting noble’s speed increased, darting swiftly side to side like a big crab, constantly guarding against her and resolutely giving no opportunity for a rear attack. As she tried to find an opening, the limb-connecting noble’s massive body spun like a windmill, forcing Uffie to retreat again and again.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out. The bullet hit the limb-connecting noble but failed to hit a weak point, not even causing it to pause.
However, the shot had an unexpected result; the limb-connecting noble turned its weapon and charged at Fanen!
Fanen fought without fear, able to compete against it for now but unsure how the battle would fare as ti went on.
No sensible human would consider engaging in a tug-of-war in this confined space with a monster that had greater stamina.
"We need to finish this quickly," Uffie said with a look of helplessness, "I’ll have to use that."
She tapped her abdon, and a large amount of insect carapace appeared on her waist, looking like a belt from a distance.
