"Prince Lanle!"
Lanle sat on the golden chair directly facing the Teleportation Gate, his legs draped over the back of a majestic Lion, swirling a wine glass in one hand and resting his chin on the other, with a smile that still carried a hint of royal deanor at the corners of his mouth.
The Attendants beside him whispered amongst themselves, "His Highness posed for so long, yet he ultimately chose the initial pose..."
Lanle glanced at the attendant, and the latter dared not speak further.
However, Tepi didn’t hear what the attendant said, so he was genuinely fooled by Lanle’s ticulously prepared opening pose, truly feeling a kingly aura emanating continuously from around him.
"Yes, Your Highness, this ti we have made bountiful discoveries."
By the way, where’s Gerhard?
As Tepi answered, he was searching for Gerhard’s figure, who, as expected, should appear nearby.
Just as this thought surfaced in his mind, a flash of light appeared near the Teleportation Gate, and Gerhard and his group erged.
"Welco back, you two," Lanle continued in that lazy yet slightly frivolous voice, "What good things have you brought back for ?"
Tepi’s mouth twitched at this, no, Your Highness, when you said this to earlier, I thought Gerhard was present, but he just showed up now, can’t you change your lines? I’ve already heard them!
Key point: after Lanle finished speaking, the corners of his mouth curved even higher, making him look quite self-satisfied...
In Tepi’s eyes, his deanor gradually shifted from a kingly aura towards a codic style.
When Tepi looked at Gerhard, there was a visible surprise in his eyes.
A common knowledge among adventurers is that in the Sain Dungeon, although you can be revived at a bonfire/blessing point after death, the wear of your equipnt is irreversible, and it’s commonplace for armor and weapons to be completely destroyed, so it’s advisable to evaluate the value of your equipnt before challenging a Dungeon to avoid losses outweighing the gains.
People often see those who barely gather a set of equipnt return crying with nothing left after a Dungeon trip.
But...but people like Gerhard and his group being kicked out stark naked were truly exceptionally rare, like an Eastern Snow Lotus.
"Ah!" A shy cry ca from the won in the crowd, "So, so small!"
Male adventurers whistled proudly by comparison.
Yes, although a large number of Soldiers surrounded the Dungeon’s Teleportation Gate, Lanle generously allowed residents to watch nearby, gathering over a hundred people here, and since it was the ti of the Giant Stone Dungeon’s closure, many adventurers with nothing to do ca to watch the show.
Faced with the strong audience, Gerhard and his Knights chose to...
Sit still.
Gerhard’s group sat dazedly, in a duck-like position akin to young girls, eyes vacant, drooling and mumbling sothing surprisingly consistent when listened to closely:
"I want to revive at the Marika Wedge Stone, I want at Marika..."
They appeared to have a deanor akin to soone in a cult, but Tepi saw the words "give up thinking" in Gerhard’s eyes.
He instantly realized why the other turned out like this, and a twisted grin appeared on his face.
Patience, it was hard to endure, but how could he hold back such a funny situation?
"Pfft!" He finally couldn’t help it and burst out laughing. Oh no, oh no, this is in front of His Highness, how could he be so impudent? He pinched his thigh, trying to calm down.
"Ugh uh uh uh..." Suddenly, Gerhard convulsed as if electrocuted, and the waves of white flesh were rather eye-searing.
"Hahaha—"
The crowd exploded with overwhelming laughter, Tepi didn’t need to endure and joined everyone in laughing loudly, even Lanle laughed, and the atmosphere was as joyous as if they had conquered the Yanor Kingdom.
A young man dressed in a commanding Magician outfit beside Lanle approached Gerhard, emitting a greenish magical light from his hand, seemingly about to administer so healing magic.
However, the young man hesitated, appearing to feel that using Magic on this group of nudists would defile his Magic Wand, ultimately choosing to pull out a feather duster from his sleeve and giving each of Gerhard’s group a firm whack.
With this, Gerhard’s group finally snapped back to reality.
"Where are we?"
He recalled repeatedly being flipped over and killed by the Fallen Star Beast, reviving at the Marika Wedge Stone, and being flipped over again, losing count of how many tis he died. Logically, upon nearing ten deaths, the Sain Dungeon should have ousted him, so how could he exceed ten tis and still be trapped inside the Dungeon!?
Faced with such an inexplicable situation, they ultimately chose to abandon thought, turning themselves into blobs that only knew to choose revival, until a few smacks now restored their consciousness.
Just upon awakening, before he had ti to think, the laughter from the crowd stunned him.
Seeing himself stark naked, he turned to stone on the spot.
"Soone, soone tell this is just a dream?"
He looked around dumbfoundedly, not knowing whether to cover himself, until he saw Tepi, laughing so much he couldn’t straighten up and bent like a shrimp.
