My na is Edgar, and I currently despise Sain Dungeon.
Since I was young, I exhibited an extraordinary talent for magic, and the legend of being a magical genius spread throughout the villages.
Later, I successfully used this talent to continuously improve in the path of magic. I don’t know where the end is, but I will keep moving forward towards it.
Magic is everything to ; it is my pride and my dignity. But those old traditional bastards... If only I were born in another country, my achievents would surely be much better than in the Warrior Country!
After reaching adulthood, I was accepted as a disciple by my ntor Younka because of my ability to understand and teach others magic. Even among many disciples, my talent was unparalleled.
Although my abilities haven’t reached the level of a unique talent, I possess a talent for analyzing magic that far exceeds that of ordinary people.
The ntor is very impressive, having lived for goodness knows how long and still maintaining a passion for magic—he’s practically a magic fanatic. To make magic more widespread in this country, he constantly researches new kinds of magic and improves existing ones. The magic crafted by his hands is exceptionally powerful.
Disciples like play the role of disseminating his magic, bringing gospel to anyone eager to learn magic. I consider this a sacred duty.
However, starting this year, the pace at which he researches magic noticeably slowed. The output of both new magic and improved magic significantly reduced.
I know the reason—it’s because of that Sain Dungeon.
More precisely, it’s due to the magic of Sain Dungeon.
The ntor is infatuated with thoroughly researching various types of magic and then improving them to suit the constitution of the Warrior Country. When the magic from Sain Dungeon erged, he dedicated himself to researching and improving Luminous Stone magic.
However, the ntor failed.
He failed utterly and completely.
Whether it was the so-called Luminous Stone magic, Crystal Magic, or any other thing erging from Sain Dungeon, he couldn’t deconstruct it completely, let alone improve it.
Witnessing images from the Black Hawk’s Chaos period, seeing that Gravity Magic mont that shot Black Hawk Eliphas down to the earth—he beca obsessed with it. Yet, the outco was the sa: he couldn’t study it, and there’s still no sign of Gravity Magic appearing in Sain Dungeon, not even a model to research.
The ntor is still studying that thing till this day, seeming to pour his heart and soul into it.
But I find the ntor looking like that... boring.
What’s the point in stubbornly pursuing Sain Dungeon’s magic, only adding more troubles to oneself?
It was at that mont that I started entertaining thoughts of surpassing the ntor. My knowledge of magic is solid, far surpassing that of other disciples—why can’t I surpass the ntor?
Now is a perfect opportunity.
Sain Dungeon recently erged at Black Stone City. Knowing the ntor’s character, he’ll definitely co to take a look and might even stay here for a long ti.
But due to the "War Festival," he can’t spare his attention elsewhere and asked to co here to find materials for magic research.
Great, now I have a whole Sain Dungeon’s worth of resources at my disposal, while the ntor is caught up in the trivialities of the War Festival which could have been ignored. This is my ti to prove my capabilities.
The first thing to do is go to the Magic Array Celia and get more pure Luminous Stones; the quality here feels much higher than that in Lake Lienia.

"This is the place, Magic Town Celia."
Edgar looked up at the dilapidated town, with a faint glow in his eyes, and then his face lit up with joy.
"Indeed, I can sense the presence of considerable Luminous Stones, this is the place."
Perhaps because the magical aura of this town is overly intense, there are Luminous Stones inside the town, even outside the town, and clusters that emit fluorescence sprouted along the steps leading up to the gates, with soft light dispersing so of the ominous atmosphere lingering in Galide.
Edgar picked up several crystal clusters and carefully sensed them.
"The quality is acceptable, containing relatively concentrated magic power, but compares unfavorably with the Luminous Stones inside the Magic Town... Alright, I’ll send these to the ntor as research materials."
With a smile on his face, he collected so crystal clusters outside the town, then looked inside the Magic Town, whispering to himself:
"The rest of these are all mine."
He extracted a cloak from his backpack, draped it over himself, and injected a bit of magic power. The cloak emitted an almost imperceptible wail, swiftly changing its color to blend with the surroundings, achieving the effect of invisibility.
It’s one of the magical tools he created, crafting an Invisibility Cloak by completely flaying the skin of a living Invisible Giant Demon and processing it through a series of magical rites. To enhance the invisibility effect, the soul of the Invisible Giant Demon used as raw material still resides within.
The crafting technique was learned from his ntor Younka, and rather than calling it magic, it’s more like the convergence of magic and alchemy.
At first, he wondered if the crafting process might be too cruel, but once accustod to it... well, he got used to it.
Although the ntor is entangled with mundane affairs, what he teaches is never wrong.
After donning the Invisibility Cloak, Edgar waved his Magic Wand to cast several invisibility spells on himself. In an instant, his form vanished from this world, without a trace or hint left behind.
