He looked at Gong Qiying, his expression changing repeatedly, before returning to its original state.
Their unspoken agreent was that Red Teeth would never proactively delve into what kind of existence Gong Qiying was, and no matter how outrageous the sight, he wouldn't ask.
This was an incredible elder, known perhaps to age incredibly.
But now, after seeing Gui Ao'er, Red Teeth changed his opinion.
The one before him was not just an incredible old man, but a truly astonishing old stone, a fossil so to speak, extrely old indeed!
Truly, the world is filled with wonders; even in the Dungeon, one can find such a character.
He casually sighed:
"So that's how dragons looked back then..."
I can't vouch for much, Gong Qiying thought to himself.
Red Teeth, observing Gui Ao'er's appearance, began speaking to himself.
"I have always been searching for dragon-related tales, the older the better, but up till now, I've found little. Besides the Warrior Country's dragons, with their mixed bloodlines, the once true pureblood dragons have vanished as if they never existed in this world."
"I placed a Teleportation Gate in the Warrior Country not just to observe the current Dragon Clan, but for another reason."
"I heard that, long before these mixed-blood dragon clans settled, the Warrior Country had already had contact with the Dragon Clan."
Gong Qiying glanced at Red Teeth, not interrupting, intrigued by such secrets.
"It's said those Dragon Clans were stronger and more aggressive than now, and possibly descendants of those who fell under the Demon King's lineage, akin to the Demon Clan. Perhaps we should call them Demon Dragons."
Dragons submitting to the Demon King?
Thinking further, it seems not so surprising.
"The chronicles of the Warrior Country might contain information about those dragons, but only about the destruction they caused, and few ntions, scarce records."
"After a period unrecorded, or neglected due to its missing history, those Demon Dragons vanished completely, there's no trace left."
"Totally gone...?"
If this were a Legendary story, Gong Qiying felt there must be so unknown conspiracy behind it.
But Red Teeth's account seems far removed from now; even if there were a conspiracy, would it span hundreds of years and still remain hidden?
It seems unlikely, yet again, perhaps anything is possible.
"I will pay attention to such matters, but, why tell all this?" Gong Qiying directly asked.
"Oh, nothing special, just recalling upon eting such a rare Ancient Dragon today."
Red Teeth shook his head, jokingly said:
"This ti, I won't ask you for her; I can't afford to keep an old granny."
"What a sha, I thought you might make a more interesting move."
Gong Qiying shrugged, playing along with the joke.
Red Teeth's goal was already achieved, just about to return to his Dungeon, but at that mont, the image on the Crystal Ball changed.
Gui Ao'er suddenly roared, drawing both their attention; when Red Teeth fully saw the image, his tail stopped wagging.
In the image, several differently colored two-legged dragons hovered around Gui Ao'er, as if unable to get close.
Among those two-legged dragons, one with golden-scaled skin was notably prominent, it was Elo.
Red Teeth widened his eyes a bit at the sight, murmuring as he rubbed his sharp teeth:
"How is this persistent old fool still alive...?"
He imdiately turned to Gong Qiying, looking serious:
"An unusual request, Gedwin."
"Speak." Gong Qiying encountered Red Teeth's such expression for the first ti, akin to eting an enemy.
Only to see Red Teeth pointing at Elo in the image, as the fla on his tail grew larger, he said:
"Beat him!"
