"Yay! Got so food from Lord Gedwin again!"
Cangyin Dungeon, the City Lord's room.
Heiniss hugged the reply that Gong Qiying had just delivered, so excited that she jumped in place, feeling like she finally had sothing good to eat after being hungry for a long, long ti.
These were the fruits of her labor, earned through her own hard work!
She glanced at the map delivered from the opposite side, and when her eyes fell upon that particularly sinister and evil-looking map, along with the terrifying monsters that ca with it, goosebumps rose all over her body, making her shiver as if she'd been shocked.
"That's just the flavor, that's just the feeling, aweso!"
After spinning around a few tis, Heiniss imdiately opened her Dungeon Micro Model, pondering where to add the map called "Deep Nest."
Wait a minute, she's not hesitating at all, just decided to add it directly?
Of course, Heiniss's life creed is to act first and talk later!
To this day, Cangyin Dungeon seems to look no different from before on the surface.
The first half is as beautiful as a garden, the rear half occupied by tree fairies, and the deeper layer, though the plants have beco stronger, the rewards are also better.
Everything seems unchanged, but that's just on the surface.
Recently, among the adventurers in Spring Sun City, the intelligence regarding Cangyin Dungeon has gradually shifted in tone.
People used to talk about Cangyin Dungeon in a relaxed manner, like discussing a the park, but now there's an involuntary seriousness, treating this place as a dungeon that requires careful attention.
All this is because Cangyin Dungeon has a new chanism.
While exploring the latter half, there's a probability that one could fall out from a random location in this world.
Falling into a map that no one has seen before.
The nas of those maps are many: Road of Suffering, Fungal Wasteland, Misty Canyon....
The style of these maps is so vastly different from the forr Cangyin Dungeon that it makes people feel like they've accidentally stumbled into an alternate world!
However... sohow these places still have so connection to the plant the central to Cangyin Dungeon, making it impossible to say these things were inserted out of thin air.
The monsters distributed in these maps vary but give a similar stylistic feel, either moving plants or creatures that can be associated with plants—bugs.
When those insects, as tall or even taller than humans, co rushing over, it's hard to imagine an adventurer who wouldn't shiver.
The difficulty of these maps has undeniably increased, directly corresponding to the deep maps gathered by hybrid plants, and the atmosphere is even more frightening than the deep maps, classified by adventurers as dangerous places.
Yet perhaps it's precisely because of the danger, the rewards have increased too, not to ntion the assorted items, the probability of obtaining better hybrid plants among the plants people co for has risen in these dangerous maps.
Hence, adventurers specifically wandering in Cangyin Dungeon to find "hidden maps" naturally erged.
Furthermore, this change in Cangyin Dungeon shut the mouths of so people, particularly the ones who, due to lack of strength, left Sain Dungeon and ran to other dungeons for a living while constantly belittling the local dungeon's lack of challenge.
According to the current attitudes of adventurers, if there were a questionnaire on the difficulty of Cangyin Dungeon, at least not many people would be idle enough to fill in "very easy."
"Not only did I maintain my livelihood, but also realized my dream of making adventurers revere , all thanks to Lord Gedwin!"
However, Heiniss hadn't been happy for a few days before the Dragon Clan set their sights here.
The grand army she was proud of was crushed in front of those physically superior giant dragons!
Cangyin Dungeon doesn't have dynamic balance; the monster's strength and such have to be adjusted manually by herself, and she's still uncertain about how to adjust the monster strength in the face of giant dragons. If it's too weak, it can't be beaten, if it's too strong, it wastes spiritual power, leaving her in a dilemma until now.
During the days she was troubled, the Dragon Clan treated Cangyin Dungeon like a cafeteria.
"Though I really appreciate the spiritual power they send, to be honest, they've never died once here and took away so many plants, so the spiritual power revenue is actually not that much...."
Throwing out sothing like Destruction Mushroom should be able to take down a few dragons, right? But Heiniss has already decided not to easily use those cheat-like monsters with excessive strength, otherwise, it would greatly disrupt the adventurer's experience, detrintal to the appearance of repeat visitors.
"Lord Gedwin sent the Deep Nest, I understand, it's about using the terrain to deal with the Dragon Clan, indeed!"
"Those dragons will definitely co again tomorrow, let them be the first to test it out, and I'll add this map tonight."
"After taking so many plants from , there should be a dragon giving the first drop of blood."
Looking at her Dungeon Micro Model, Heiniss couldn't help but hold her face and laugh joyfully, thinking of the scenes tomorrow.
————————————
"Those plants wander all over the place, so it's more convenient to use this thing called an Elf Ball to capture them, take these first, and ask for more if they run out."
"Rember to steer clear of plants like peppers and cherries; those things hurt a lot when they explode on dragons."
"We should choose the ones we haven't tried yet, and take the ones that look delicious; the ones we've already tasted can be skipped."
On their flight to Spring Sun City, Abel briefed the eager-looking Fudolin on the "hunting" tips for this trip.
As he spoke, he suddenly chuckled and murmured to himself:
"Honestly, there's nothing in that Dungeon that can threaten us, no need to be overly cautious."
Besides the two of them, there was Moer and two or three younger dragons tagging along, it seed just like an outing.
Fudolin blended in perfectly without any hint of anomaly, just an utterly ordinary giant dragon disguised as human.
Don't Abel and the others find it strange?
Turns out, they haven't thought along those lines at all.
Upon seeing Fudolin, Abel felt her face was very unfamiliar, never seen in the clan, so...
So she must be from the Four-legged Dragon's side!
He didn't sense any of that classic "odd aura" from Fudolin, just the dragon's presence; if he felt carefully, there was a hint of strangeness, but not worth breaking a pot over.
Moer's thoughts as a Four-legged Dragon were similar to Abel's, he assud Fudolin was from the Two-legged Dragon side.
Fudolin was intentionally concealing, making both Two-legged and Four-legged dragons fail to notice.
"This kind of journey serves well as a pasti~" she thought to herself, after returning from the Blood Dynasty, she really needed a place to unwind.
Otherwise, she'd keep dreaming of Monger yelling "zero zero zero" in a sky-high epic countdown challenge, full of fury and unable to sleep.
After a short flight, the Cangyin Dungeon appeared in their view.
Everyone accelerated directly towards the Teleportation Gate, without any reminders or preparations, they entered with an air of relaxation.
The locals were no longer surprised by their sudden arrival, as the presence of dragon-headed humans in the group made it clear they were dragons.
All the initial amazent, excitent, and curiosity about these mythical creatures had faded with ti; the local people now held only one attitude towards this group of dragons:
"Dear ladies and gentlen, rember to co to my tavern for food and drink, we definitely have great dishes!"
These dragons with huge appetites were seen as cash cows by the locals, Abel and the others would usually hit the local taverns to feast after leaving the Dungeon, and people had long regarded them like wealth gods.
Dragons aren't as stingy as in fairy tales.
The sensation of teleportation vanished quickly, refreshing air greeted them, and their sights were filled with beautiful greenery.
This marked their entry into the Cangyin Dungeon.
Abel and the others didn't bother to appreciate the garden-like natural scenery, they flew straight to the depths, as the chances of finding hidden maps were higher there, the scenery was not interesting to them.
Fudolin glanced at the surrounding environnt, the style here was completely different from the Sain Dungeon, exuding a highly healing atmosphere, surely popular with recreation enthusiasts.
But the flowers and plants seed quite dull, she shook her head, then followed Abel and the others, quickly passing through layers of plant cover to reach the depths.
This ti, the hidden map ca particularly fast, Moer suddenly found himself falling endlessly.
"There, everybody follow!"
Abel excitedly whistled, everyone flooded towards the hole, Fudolin was the last to enter, her interest piqued for hidden maps.
The mont she entered, darkness enveloped her vision.
Fortunately, dragons could generally see in the dark, the shadows weren't a big issue, just made her feel a bit chilly.
Fudolin felt herself continually descending, as if into a bottomless abyss, with no sign of stopping.
Surrounding her were alternately damp and dry soil, as she descended further, the darkness deepened, thick cobwebs started to appear, along with debris from ruined structures, all adding to the atmosphere.
"This descent is far too long, wouldn't a human fall to their death?"
Fudolin frowned, then soon discovered an even more frown-inducing matter—
Theoretically, Abel and the others should be ahead of her...
But they're gone.
"Thud!"
With a muffled sound, Fudolin finally landed on the ground.
