However, months ago, Spring Sun City was invaded by Frog Head-led Demon Clan mbers, causing significant casualties. If it weren't for the last-minute divine intervention of the Fran Guard, Spring Sun City might have been overrun by the Demon Clan.
Since then, the City Lord has been pushed to improve the city using all resources, upgrading even things he previously hesitated to install, like magic detection devices, and continually updating defenses with the best available equipnt.
To outsiders, it would seem as if he was gearing up for war with neighboring Bed City.
Although the upgraded military equipnt in Spring Sun City hadn't been used, and no Demon Clan invasions occurred afterward.
But now, aren't these dragons here!
Thankfully, there were always people on duty to activate the protective shield at any mont.
So now is the perfect mont to test Spring Sun City's preparedness!
The city lord of Spring Sun City, who was strolling inside the city, showed excitent and quickly ordered his companions, "Quick, quick, quick, prepare to attack... I an, defend!"

With the aid of these tools, Spring Sun City quickly transford into a heavily fortified bastion!
"Co on, evil dragons, let in this City Lord see your power!"
The City Lord of Spring Sun City shouted perhaps the most confident shout in his life.
"Why does it feel like sothing's amiss?"
"Where did those dragons co from? I've never seen them before, they seem rather ferocious."
"Didn't Abel ntion that we should hide?"
The Two-legged Dragons near the Cangyin Dungeon's teleportation gate exchanged looks, glanced at the approaching black dragon horde, felt their savage aura, shivered collectively, and retreated back into the gate.
Since Fudolin ntioned they could stay in the dungeon to avoid them, they decided to wait it out and hide, knowing the black dragons wouldn't find them there.
They didn't want to confront those black, monstrous creatures head-on.
As the Two-legged Dragons retreated into the dungeon, the "Black Dragons" were already upon Spring Sun City.
Unlike typical "roars" and "growls," they emitted piercing screams, sounding more terrifying, like Monsters.
The intent to invade Spring Sun City was crystal clear; these entities were undoubtedly enemies!
"Open fire!"
With the City Lord's command, the cannons aid at the black dragon horde began firing instantly, erupting in flashes of fire, as enchanted cannonballs hit the dragon horde, each splitting into smaller missiles mid-air.
The explosion and smoke obscured the sky, directly hitting the dragons!
For a mont, the explosion and smoke seed to cover the dragon horde like a dark, thunderous cloud!
"Good!" The City Lord of Spring Sun City cheered, feeling a thrill akin to using magic scrolls to bomb fish in his youth, eager to see the dragons plumt lifelessly from the sky.
"Caw—"
The chillingly sharp scream tore through the explosive smoke, countless dragon wings stirred up a hurricane, dispersing the smoke in an instant.
The City Lord looked through a telescope, his smile froze, his voice trembling:
"How is this possible, they look... unhard?"
