Malefic World!

Kira furrowed his brow slightly. As he thought.

The mont he saw this guy for the first ti, Kira had already guessed the man's identity. It's just that the other party was wearing a mask and dressed differently from the original, so he wasn't quite sure at first.

But all doubts instantly vanished the mont he saw this card.

No mistake. This guy is Paradox.

Among all the final bosses throughout Yu-Gi-Oh! history, this man is truly unique—a legendary boss worthy of being rembered through the ages. It's not that his deck or dueling skills are that much superior, but rather, his courage to "know there are tigers in the mountains, yet still head for the mountain" is truly admirable.

Because he's the only boss in history to challenge all three generations of the Duel King—Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei—at the sa ti.

And he isn't just so reckless fool. Paradox's backstory is that he hails from a distant future—a ruined world destroyed by dueling after all duelists lost their passion for the ga.

He believes Duel Monsters are the root cause of the world's destruction. He thinks that if Duel Monsters had never existed, the future would have changed and the apocalypse could have been avoided. Thus, he decided to travel back in ti to erase Pegasus, the father of Duel Monsters, and prevent history from heading towards a future of endless dueling.

He thinks that if Pegasus had never unearthed the stone tablets, if the modern ga of Duel Monsters never existed, then the future wouldn't have been destroyed.

What makes him the bravest is that he understands the history of Duel Monsters. He knows the key points and people in its developnt. In other words, he recognizes Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei. He knows their lives, what powerful gods they've summoned, and the outrageous things they've pulled off.

And even knowing all that, he still charged in without hesitation. One versus three, challenging the three greatest "cheat" kings in dueling history.

Of course, later generations of duelists have plenty to nitpick about that duel. Like, all three Duel Kings fielded weak hands, Pharaoh didn't draw the Egyptian Gods and relied on a vanilla Dark Magician, Jaden never used "Super Polyrization" even though the movie title was "Super Fusion," and Yusei didn't activate his Red Dragon Synchro at all.

But even so, just having the courage to face those three, Paradox is already the bravest villain in history—bar none.

"My deck can only unleash its full power in the Malefic field," Paradox sneered coldly. "Now, the field is under the control of Malefic World.

This domain gathers the ultimate power that transcends space, ti, and dinsions. Now, I'll let you taste this power!"

A card automatically popped out of Paradox's deck. He drew it out, displaying it between two fingers. At that instant, a shrill dragon's roar echoed through the Malefic domain, like an anguished wail, shaking space itself.

And behind him appeared that legendary dragon—a noble body ford by countless holy rays of light.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

"I send 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' from my deck to the graveyard. This card in my hand can be special summoned without tribute—

Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon, summon!!"

In the next mont, the white dragon's phantom solidified. Countless white specks of light gathered, forming the Blue-Eyes' shape, though its body was a bit dimr than the original, and its once pure white bone wings were now streaked with black, as if corrupted.

[Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon, ATK 3000]

Paradox smirked, "What do you think? Even the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon, said to exist only in the hands of Seto Kaiba in your world, must bow to my Malefic power.

My Malefic Deck is the ultimate power that transcends ti and space. No matter how rare or strong a spirit is in your world, it must submit to !"

Kira was not surprised. He already knew Paradox had Blue-Eyes in hand, as well as many other famous monsters. This man traveled through many tilines, so having unique cards from this world was not impossible for a ti traveler.

However, he thought for a mont and asked, "So, was it you who released those Wicked Gods?"

Previously, the Three Wicked Gods ntioned that soone from another world loosened their seal and helped them. According to the original, Paradox shouldn't count as an otherworlder, but rather soone from their own dinsion's future tiline.

Also, Paradox was supposed to duel the three Duel Kings during the DM tiline, before the Pharaoh departed, not in the current tiline.

"Wicked Gods?" Paradox snorted. "I don't know what you're talking about.

My summons aren't over yet!

I'll send this card from my Extra Deck to the graveyard."

He revealed another card, shouting loudly.

"Cyber End Dragon!"

The sound of grinding tal filled the air, electric currents crackling and exploding. Huge steel parts assembled together, forming the shadow of a three-headed dragon, roaring in the Malefic void.

"By sending 'Cyber End Dragon' from the Extra Deck to the graveyard, I can special summon this card from my hand as well," Paradox declared.

"Co forth, Malefic Cyber End Dragon!"

As the card slamd onto the duel disk, the Cyber End's shadow solidified. Countless black electric currents burst out, and the three-headed steel dragon landed like a fortress.

[Malefic Cyber End Dragon, ATK 4000]

"This is my Malefic Deck, gathering the strongest spirits from every era!" Paradox announced. "And I can summon these history's strongest monsters with ease—the true ultimate deck!"

Kira genuinely believed that Paradox thought this way, firmly convinced his Malefic Deck was the strongest in history, transcending all eras. Otherwise, he wouldn't have had the guts to challenge the three Kings.

In fact, in the ani, the Malefic Deck is much stronger than the real-life cards. For example, in the real ga, only one Malefic monster can exist on the field at a ti; more than one would self-destruct. But in the ani, that rule doesn't apply—Paradox can summon both Malefic Blue-Eyes and Malefic Cyber End Dragon at once.

Also, in the real ga, Malefic monsters require banishing the original monster from the deck, but in the ani, just sending it to the graveyard is enough, as Paradox just demonstrated.

Additionally, the real Malefic monsters only have ATK; they don't inherit their originals' effects. In the ani, they even copy the monster effects, like Malefic Cyber End Dragon keeping its piercing ability, which was removed in the real cards.

"Feel the might of the strongest deck in history!"

Paradox shouted.

"Malefic Cyber End Dragon, attack that face-down defense monster!"
