After leaving the room, Kanna knew that Kal'tsit wasn't to bla, but she just felt incredibly annoyed.
If she were alone and had no sense of morality, she could just turn Victoria into an eternal disaster zone. That would be no problem for her.
But Victoria didn't just have that damned Grand Duke; it also had many ordinary people who loved life, loved this land, and worked hard to live. They had done nothing wrong, and even though Kanna was very angry, she knew she shouldn't direct that rage at them.
An angry Kanna locked herself back in her room, and even Amiya couldn't get her to open the door.
Kal'tsit, aware of the situation, offered no explanation. The entire central control area beca cautious after Kanna's outburst, fearing they might anger Kal'tsit, so no one dared to ask about the matter.
anwhile, Outcast had been sent by Kal'tsit on a secret mission, so while Amiya was at her wit's end, it was rare for Kanna's shadow not to be seen on Rhodes Island for several days.
Kal'tsit, working, clearly sensed Amiya's distraction beside her. After finishing her work, she called Amiya over.
"Are you worried about Kanna?"
Amiya nodded carefully.
"Don't worry about Kanna; she's just being childish. She'll be fine once she gets over it. How is Rosmontis recovering?" Kal'tsit had a good grasp of Kanna's thoughts, knowing that she wasn't angry with her, but probably angry with herself. So, in a few days, Kanna would figure things out on her own and be fine.
"Much better. She can already get out of bed and walk on her own, but her amnesia has worsened. She often forgets everything from the previous day." These past few days, Amiya would visit Rosmontis after work.
She found that even if she told Rosmontis things the day before, she wouldn't rember them the next day. After consulting Lena, Lena also confird the worsening of Rosmontis's amnesia.
However, it was fortunate that she was still in Rosmontis's mory.
A few days later, Kanna was bored, lying in bed and watching videos... She had thought Amiya would persist for a few days, and then when her anger subsided, she would use that as an excuse to go out. But after knocking on the door for two days, Amiya stopped coming, which made Kanna very awkward.
If she went out now, it would seem she wasn't 'dignified' enough. If she continued to stay in her room, it was too boring. In a word, she was suffering for the sake of appearances.
Suddenly, she heard a "thump, thump, thump" at the door. Kanna's eyes lit up, and tears welled up. Finally, a savior had arrived! Which little sweetheart had co to be her 'stepping stone'?
She rushed to the door, taking three steps in two, and was about to open it when she suddenly stopped. "Composure, I must be composed!"
Kanna kept reminding herself internally.
"Ahem! Who's out there?"
"!"
With a "click!" the door suddenly opened. Kanna looked in surprise at the delicate yet familiar figure.
"Rosmontis! Why are you here! Quick, quick, co sit!" Looking at the bewildered girl in front of her, Kanna excitedly took her hand and helped her to a chair.
Rosmontis tilted her head, carefully examining Kanna's face. After a while, she spoke with a questioning tone, "Kanna?"
Kanna also noticed Rosmontis's unusual behavior. She looked towards the doorway, where Amiya stood, her face showing surprise.
"Although Rosmontis was successfully rescued, her amnesia is getting worse. Without using a recorder, she can barely rember any Operators.
She was only recently allowed to leave the infirmary. I followed her and found that she walked directly towards you. I never told her your location during this ti; she found it herself. And she still rembers you, which indicates that even with worsening amnesia, you remain in her mory. This is a good thing."
Rosmontis looked at Kanna with a bewildered expression. She didn't know why she had co here, or why her heart was pounding when she saw the girl in front of her, but she knew that this person must be important to her.
Kanna hugged Rosmontis's shoulders. "Ugh... Rosmontis, I shouldn't have been so childish. I should have visited you sooner!"
Rosmontis's face was still a bit pale, but she raised her hand and gently patted Kanna's cheek. "Even though I don't rember, seeing you makes Rosmontis very happy."
Amiya walked to the door and took out her communicator to contact Rosmontis's attending physician and Ms. Lena. Although allowing Rosmontis to go out was their suggestion, saying it might be beneficial for her amnesia recovery, Amiya had always had doubts.
After all, many people had visited Rosmontis for so long, including mbers of her team, but Rosmontis had no recollection of anyone else except Amiya.
However, thinking that the other party had been lying in the infirmary for so long, and that a walk around Rhodes Island to clear her mind would be good, she agreed to the doctor's idea and personally followed along.
From the mont they left the infirmary, she noticed that Rosmontis's direction of movent wasn't random; she had a strong objective. Even though she stumbled a bit along the way because she couldn't rember the path, she still accurately walked from the upper level of Rhodes Island to the middle level and precisely found Kanna's room.
At that mont, Amiya was very shocked. Rosmontis had almost lost all her mories of Rhodes Island, but relying on her feelings and habits from the depths of her mory, she sohow managed to find Kanna's residence.
Following Rosmontis's knock on the door, the previous scene unfolded.
Rosmontis's actions greatly encouraged both her and the Doctor who received the news. This indicated that Rosmontis had not completely lost her mory; she could still rember so things through her perseverance, which was incredibly good news for treating her amnesia.
After her excitent, Kanna learned that the other party had lost her mories of Rhodes Island. She then pulled Rosmontis and slowly walked around Rhodes Island, recounting amusing stories between them.
"We also have a companion nad Popukar, but unfortunately, she and her teammates are out on a mission and not on Rhodes Island. When she returns, I'll reintroduce her to you!" As Kanna spoke, she thought of Popukar, who was out on a mission. It had been so long without news; she wondered how she was doing.
"There was news from Popukar's Provisional Operator Squad A6 earlier; they have completed their mission and are expected to return to Rhodes Island by next week at the latest," Amiya interjected, answering Kanna's words at the opportune mont.
Listening to the conversation between the two, Rosmontis smiled, "Okay, when Popukar returns, everyone must play together."
