After the gate opened, Ya Ye guided Kanna into the training room.
Upon entering, Kanna saw many machines around, and at the other end of the room, there were quite a few targets.
However, not knowing the test procedure, she did not act on her own. Instead, after a careful look, she silently committed the surroundings to mory, then quietly waited in an open space not far from the entrance for the instructions that Ya Ye said would co from the loudspeaker.
anwhile, in the viewing stands above, many people who had only heard about Kanna and were now seeing her for the first ti began to discuss amongst themselves.
The reason was simple: she was too small.
Even so regions' child soldiers would not recruit children this young, because besides being cannon fodder, children of this age were useless on the battlefield. Moreover, Young Dragons of this age would most likely be swallowed by Terra's harsh environnt before even reaching the battlefield.
Fortunately, most of those present were "veterans" who had followed from Babel, and Kal'tsit not only held sufficient prestige on Rhodes Island but also earned widespread respect due to her status as a doctor.
That's why Kanna's appearance didn't cause a bigger commotion.
The older Operators explained to the newcors,
"Kal'tsit isn't soone who gets carried away easily; there must be a deeper aning behind her actions."
After accepting this explanation, the newcors all looked towards the training room, wanting to observe closely what kind of abilities this "Young Dragon," who Kal'tsit regarded so highly, possessed.
Among them were many reserve Operators. They were capable but had not yet obtained official Operator status due to insufficient combat experience or certain physical or psychological deficiencies.
They were even more curious about this test because they knew the difficulty of Rhodes Island's Operator assessnts. They had failed even when fully equipped and prepared, yet this small child had no preparation at all. If Kal'tsit was going to use a special promotion channel, how could she be so sure Kanna would successfully complete the Operator test?
At this mont, a voice ca from the loudspeaker, but it wasn't Kal'tsit. Instead, it was Amiya, who had co out of curiosity and been roped into helping.
"Ahem! This is Command. I am Amiya, the current leader of Rhodes Island. We are now comncing Operator Kanna's assessnt. Operator Kanna, if you are ready, please raise your left hand to signal. If not, please raise your right hand."
Amiya herself hadn't expected that after entering the command room, Kal'tsit would hand over the command and evaluation duties to her, while she stood by with her arms crossed, completely silent.
For a mont, a sowhat nervous Amiya didn't even notice that Kanna had already entered the training room. It was only when Kal'tsit, standing nearby, feigned a cough that she was startled awake.
Fortunately, there were only the two of them in the command room, so no one else saw Amiya's flustered state.
Once she recovered, Amiya quickly got into character, picked up the microphone, and directed Kanna in the arena to begin the test.
Upon hearing the instructions, Kanna first approached a slope. At the bottom of the slope was a massive iron ball. According to the requirents, she had to push the ball up the slope as far as she could. Safety asures were in place, so even if she ran out of strength, she wouldn't be crushed by the ball rolling back down.
Kanna walked up to the iron ball, placed her small hands beneath it, and subtly lifted it a little.
Hmm~ Too light. It was only about three or four tis the weight of a wild boar she usually carried. This weight was to Kanna what a two-dollar bottle of mineral water is to an ordinary person.
However, to avoid startling others, Kanna obediently pushed the ball towards the top of the slope.
