At this mont, Frostnova also tilted her head to look at Kanna. The next second, the two, with a tacit understanding, charged towards Patriot.

Kanna gripped the greatsword with both hands and split it. Frostmourne and Fire's Passion once again appeared before everyone's eyes. The red and blue lights, carrying beautiful yet terrifying attacks, rushed towards Patriot.

"Taste my 'Unnad Sword of Victory'!" Kanna shouted, continuously brandishing her dual swords, clashing repeatedly with Patriot's spear and shield. Kanna's imnse strength and agile movents left Patriot with no ti to spare.

At this mont, Frostnova also leaped from a blind spot to Patriot's rear. Accompanied by the sudden, bone-chilling wind that blew, Patriot's movents beca slower and slower.

"Do you wish to subdue , my beloved daughter!" Just as Patriot was about to be completely frozen, Frostnova's expression suddenly changed. She leaped backward, dodging the spear Patriot swung down.

Patriot at this point was already at the end of his rope, but he felt he couldn't die by his daughter's hand, so he deliberately abandoned his defense against Kanna and instead forced Frostnova's attack back.

Kanna naturally accepted the opening Patriot exposed without hesitation.

Seizing the mont before Patriot could withdraw his spear, she suddenly leaped in front of Patriot's face, first delivering a 'head-ringing blow' that dazed him, then a flurry of slaps to the outside of Patriot's mask, completely taking him out.

With a loud crash, and under Frostnova's shocked gaze, her foster father, who had never fallen before, collapsed with a 'boom' in front of her.

"Done!" Kanna clapped her hands and walked towards the Doctor. Speaking of which, while Patriot's strength couldn't compare to hers, his will, as unyielding as ancient stone, made her deeply admire him.

If Frostnova hadn't distracted him, Kanna felt it would have been simpler to kill him than to capture him alive.

As the Doctor was about to walk over, Frostnova jumped into the middle.

"Can you give the chance to save Old Fogey?" Her voice was trembling and a little excited.

Hearing Frostnova's words, the Doctor stopped, then squatted down and tossed the Poké Ball in his hand.

Frostnova lightly leaped, caught the Poké Ball in her mouth, and then walked to Patriot's side.

She had previously asked the Doctor about how to use the Poké Ball, so she aid the ball directly at Patriot. With a whoosh, Patriot disappeared before her.

"Is that all it takes?" Thinking that Old Fogey could also escape the tornt of oripathy, Frostnova's voice was a little ethereal.

"If he doesn't wake up midway and resist the Poké Ball's…treatnt, then there's no problem." Kanna originally wanted to say 'transformation,' but considering Frostnova was right there, it felt a bit inappropriate, so she changed it to 'treatnt.'

Upon hearing Kanna's words, Frostnova nervously stared at the Poké Ball, afraid that Patriot would suddenly wake up and jump out, rendering all her efforts futile.

"Don't be nervous. At worst, if he wakes up, we'll just knock him out again. If it doesn't work once, then twice, three tis. Eventually, he'll be unconscious long enough for the treatnt to finish..." Kanna said, stroking Frostnova's back to comfort her after seeing her nervous expression.

But unexpectedly, after she said that, Frostnova beca even more nervous. After all, being knocked out by such a combo wasn't just about losing face; it was incredibly painful.

Although she was his daughter, Frostnova sotis disagreed with Patriot's actions, but she was utterly unwilling to make him suffer.

However, luck was on their side. Patriot didn't wake up during the process and successfully completed the transformation from a Wendigo to a Pokémon.

Kanna had originally thought that Patriot's appearance would transform into a very imposing creature like an Aggron, but she was half right. The Pokémon Patriot transford into was indeed Steel-type, like Aggron.

But he wasn't a Steel/Rock Aggron; instead, he was another 'creature' that was Steel/Ghost — Aegislash.

Kanna didn't know if the current Patriot could be considered a "creature" anymore, as Aegislash's appearance was completely different from what is normally considered a living being.

Everyone stared in shock at the oversized shield-sword before them.

"He, he, he... is Patriot?" If Block still had a human form, and Frostnova was at least a living being, then this thing floating in mid-air, clearly looking sowhat bewildered, couldn't be considered a living being at all. Even Amiya, who considered herself knowledgeable, stumbled a bit when faced with this novel species.

"If the one who entered the Poké Ball was Patriot, then the one who ca out now must be Patriot." Kanna nodded speechlessly, only hoping that Patriot, upon discovering his body, which was originally only sixty percent crystallized, had beco one hundred percent steel, would be able to endure it with his strong will.

"This... Frostnova, what happened to ?" A deep, resonant voice emanated from Aegislash, finally bringing Frostnova, who was shocked by Patriot's new appearance, back to her senses.

"Kanna! What's going on? Old Fogey, he, how did he turn into that!" At this mont, Frostnova also understood that the Poké Ball ca from Kanna, so she rushed to Kanna, demanding an explanation.

"Uh! After using this Poké Ball, the Infected inside are completely transford into another creature, thereby removing the oripathy from their bodies. This transformation is uncontrollable. I can only guarantee that after the transformation, they will retain all their previous mories and language; I cannot control the final outco of the transformation.

I do recognize Mister Patriot's current form; it's a creature called Aegislash. Ahem, although it's not a carbon-based lifeform... probably... it's still categorized as a living being because it has thoughts, can move, and can communicate.

From what I know, this Poké Ball always chooses the most suitable form for the target during transformation. Perhaps Mister Patriot's desire to beco the Infected's hardest shield and sharpest sword influenced the Poké Ball's judgnt, which is why he was transford into the appearance of Aegislash."

After witnessing three Infected transford by Poké Balls, Kanna had so conjectures about the direction of the Poké Ball's transformation. Perhaps compatibility and the individual's wishes were important references for the transformation.

For example, Block's idea was to continue fighting alongside Sharp, so he beca a Scyther, who is also skilled with dual blades. Frostnova wanted to escape her inflexible self, surrounded by ice, so she beca a Glaceon, who also wields ice and is very agile. As for Patriot, based on her understanding of him in the story, it should be the reason she stated; otherwise, he should have transford into a more normal creature.
