At this ti, Kaltsit was handing over so matters to Doctor.
The reason was that she needed to leave Rhodes Island for a period, and her destination was naturally Iberia.
Since the alliance with Iberia was ford years ago due to Kanna, Rhodes Island had developed very comfortably in Iberia. Many Iberians, after being Infected with oripathy, would choose Rhodes Island for treatnt, which also allowed Rhodes Island to recruit a good number of Operators in Iberia.
Her trip to Iberia this ti was, on one hand, to deepen mutual exchanges; on the other, to conduct an inspection of the Operators on the Iberia side, to prevent any misuse of Rhodes Island's identity for wrongdoing; and third, Specter had suddenly disappeared from Rhodes Island, with intelligence indicating she had appeared along the Iberian coast.
Kaltsit, who had participated in the last major battle, clearly understood that if such a battle were to occur again, in Kanna's absence, only her personal presence could ensure minimal losses.
Of course, her plan for this trip to Iberia was not to go alone. After discussing with Dahlia and Ifrit, she decided to bring Dahlia along.
Dahlia, upon hearing about Specter, felt very guilty about it, because Dahlia knew Specter had been taken away, but since they didn't know each other, she hadn't paid too much attention. Only after Rhodes Island launched an investigation into the matter did she realize sothing was wrong.
So, she was also willing to assist Kaltsit in bringing Specter back.
Just as the handover was almost complete, there was a sudden, urgent knock on the door.
"What is it?" Opening the door and seeing that Outcast was the one knocking, Kaltsit knew that the matter was certainly not simple, otherwise, with Outcast's calm deanor, she wouldn't appear so anxious.
"It's an urgent communication from Kanna Squad. Take a look!" Outcast handed the ssage to Kaltsit.
"Kanna? Didn't they just leave Rhodes Island this morning? With her and Nian's strength, they wouldn't need to ask Rhodes Island for help, would they?" Hearing Outcast's words, Doctor looked bewildered.
After all, Kanna and Nian's strength was evident during the past few days of training; one was the strongest spear, and the other was the strongest shield. In everyone's eyes, their combined strength could at least go toe-to-toe with the mysterious Witch King himself.
As the Doctor spoke, he noticed Kaltsit's expression becoming increasingly strange, showing extre shock by the end.
"It's not that Kanna Squad is in danger, but that they've made a huge discovery!" If the white wolf were to be brought back, it would certainly require the Doctor to arrange a squad for an escort, so Outcast would definitely not conceal the information from him. Thus, Outcast concisely relayed the ssage to the Doctor.
Although the amnesiac Doctor didn't know how big a sensation this discovery would cause once exposed, just seeing Kaltsit's transformation from calm to "eyes wide as copper bells" proved its significance.
"Notify Scout—no, have Amiya Squad assemble. I'll lead the team personally to pick it up. Tell Warfarin to imdiately clear out a sufficiently large room in the dical Departnt."
Originally intending to send Scout, Kaltsit reconsidered and decided to go herself, mainly because she needed to see with her own eyes if the news was truly accurate.
"Understood. Let's take a helicopter; that's the fastest way. I'll imdiately notify 'Bad Guy' and 'Good Kid' to prepare for takeoff." The Doctor also imdiately picked up his personal terminal and began arranging Operator deploynt.
Because the order ca directly from the highest level, even though many people were still sowhat confused, they still rushed towards the deck as instructed.
Along the way, the team mbers asked Amiya why there was a sudden ergency assembly, but Amiya was also completely bewildered. She had rushed to the deck in a panic after hearing Kaltsit's command and still didn't understand what was happening.
However, once on the deck, seeing two helicopters already preparing for takeoff in the distance, she knew the situation was definitely not simple.
Sure enough, after the team had assembled, the door opened again, and Kaltsit walked out of the cabin.
"My apologies for delaying everyone. This mission is very urgent, and I hope you can all bear with us. Everyone, board the aircraft. Doctor, how are the route plans?"
"No problem. I've already sent the flight path to the helicopter pilots. You can take off directly once you're on board." The Doctor's calm voice ca from Kaltsit's personal terminal.
While Amiya Squad was still bewildered, everyone followed Kaltsit onto the helicopter. Soon, the two helicopters flew rapidly towards the target point sent by the Doctor.
"Don't worry, it's not a battle. We're going to pick sothing up."
The ergency takeoff of two helicopters, flying in formation, made everyone inside feel very tense. Coupled with the fact that even the team leader, Rhodes Island's "leader" Amiya, was unaware of the mission's purpose, a sense of unease naturally spread through the aircraft.
After sensing this atmosphere, Kaltsit, who had been pondering the matter, belatedly realized the unstable mood within the cabin and then spoke to reassure them.
Upon hearing Kaltsit's words, everyone relaxed from their tense emotions.
Amiya looked at the sunset still stubbornly clinging to the horizon, then at the direction of flight below her. In just a few seconds, she calculated the flight path.
And the closest squad in that direction... "Did sothing happen to Kanna and them?" Amiya opened her eyes and asked with a hint of panic.
Kaltsit glanced at Amiya and said sowhat helplessly, "Given Kanna Squad's strength, what kind of combat power do you think it would take to put her in danger?"
...Amiya looked embarrassed after hearing that. In the past few days, she had also witnessed Kanna Squad's strength from surveillance and recordings. She estimated that if her squad encountered Kanna Squad, her side would likely be shattered on impact.
Given their strength, Kanna Squad could even contend with official armies. If she were in danger, then going herself would probably only serve to be cannon fodder.
"Alright, don't overthink it. You'll know when we get there. Judging by the distance, it'll take about three hours to fly. Everyone, rest first. We'll need to escort it on the way back, and there won't be any ti to rest then."
After Kaltsit revealed so information, everyone in the helicopter cald down. It seed highly likely that Kanna Squad had made a significant discovery, prompting their urgent dispatch for escort.
