In the following days, Kanna remained very "composed," naturally due to the previous lightning storm. Not to ntion that the news of such a long period of lightning continuously striking above Rhodes Island couldn't be completely suppressed.

Just Kanna alone, for so unknown reason, had beco a large magnet these past few days. The sad part was that the entire Rhodes Island had an excessive tal content, and Kanna occasionally forgot to control her power, causing the magnetic force to increase.

This often led to Operators seeing a certain Young Dragon wriggling on the ground like an earthworm.

Kal'tsit originally wanted to give her a separate room to control the power within her body, but to her surprise, Kanna was fine usually, but at al tis, no matter the circumstances, she would persistently head towards the cafeteria.

Although she had filled up the remaining electricity this ti, she no longer needed to continue this rather inefficient conversion, so her appetite and food intake had decreased significantly. However, the physique of a Young Dragon allowed her to easily eat portions that two or three grown n could barely finish, even under these circumstances.

Amiya's suggestion to have soone deliver her als was also rejected. Kanna, with her hands on her hips, righteously declared that she didn't get enough exercise during the day, and the daily walk to the cafeteria was one of her few forms of exercise. If she stayed in her room every day, she would not only get bored but also turn into a little chubby.

Moreover, didn't Rhodes Island uphold humanitarianism? How could they confine a Young Dragon? This would greatly damage their image.

Under Kanna's sophistry, she finally gained the privilege of wriggling from her room to the cafeteria every day and then climbing onto a specially made dining table to eat.

Of course, to prevent outsiders from seeing Kanna's uncontrolled state, which might be misinterpreted by those with ulterior motives as Rhodes Island abusing children, Kal'tsit had no choice but to arrange her in a room that connected the cafeteria and the lounge via a path very few people used.

Waking up one morning, Kanna realized that she had finally controlled the leakage of electricity from her body and no longer inexplicably attracted various tal objects around her. After a mont of sensing, she confird that she had completely mastered the power of lightning.

She excitedly walked out the door to find outcast and share the good news.

But when she arrived at outcast's residence, she found that she wasn't there. She then went to the nearby training room, and although she saw mbers of outcast's squad there, she still couldn't find outcast.

She asked the squad mbers, and they said that Kal'tsit had called outcast over and that there would likely be a mission requiring her to go out soon.

Kanna's eyes lit up upon hearing this, and she then wandered towards the Combat Operations Room, where missions were usually assigned.

When she reached the door, she heard Kal'tsit's voice coming from inside, vaguely hearing words like "Columbia... Security Fund."

Columbia, huh?

Kanna touched her Dragon Horn. She had made so acquaintances these past few days, such as the mbers of A1 Team who occasionally fed her when they t.

From their conversations, she learned that the three, including Fang, were from Columbia and were originally reserve police officers with the potential to beco official.

Unfortunately, a natural disaster caused them all to be Infected with Oripathy, and on the land of Terra, normal people and Oripathy patients lived in completely different worlds.

Even though they beca Infected while trying to save ordinary people, they still faced discrimination.

Fortunately, Kroos, one of the three, had communicated with a Rhodes Island Operator, and it was through her introduction that the three ca to Rhodes Island.

From their conversations, Kanna also deeply felt the serious generation gap and rift between the Infected and non-Infected.

Just as she pushed open the door, intending to sneak in, Kal'tsit and outcast looked up.

"Eh heh!"

Looking at the Young Dragon acting cute at the door, both of them couldn't help but feel a little lighter.

"It seems Kanna, you've completely controlled the imnse energy in your body?"

Kal'tsit keenly noticed the difference in Kanna compared to before.

"Mhm mhm! Kanna successfully controlled it. Kanna ca to tell Grandma outcast the good news."

Hearing Kanna's words, outcast smiled and picked her up.

"Good, good, good, Kanna is so good... Later, Grandma will take you to eat dessert."

"Yay!"

"Alright! The specific situation is this: this ti, it's mainly about secretly receiving a batch of orphans. With your squad's capabilities, it shouldn't be a big problem."

"Grandma is going out?" After leaving the room, the two walked hand in hand down the corridor.

"Yes, dear. While I'm away, Kanna, you mustn't be naughty!"

Outcast actually knew that Kanna was already very controlled. After all, with such imnse power, if she were a mischievous child, Rhodes Island would probably have been in chaos long ago.

And although she initially didn't know how much to control, after learning, she no longer caused damage to her surroundings. While she often did things that made people laugh and cry, she was a child, and it was normal for her to have so wild ideas, as long as it didn't overly affect others.

Kanna originally wanted to ask if she could co along, but then she thought, if she asked, she would most likely be rejected and also raise the vigilance of outcast and Kal'tsit. It would be better to obediently listen and then secretly sneak into outcast's convoy.

After enjoying a delicious al with outcast, she bid her farewell and prepared to go play elsewhere.

Considering the safety within the Rhodes Island main ship, outcast also allowed her to go play by herself.

After they parted, Kanna thought about it. Last ti, she found the view from the Lookout Tower on top of the bridge was nice, but unfortunately, it started thundering and raining before she had her fill, so she didn't get to see enough. Therefore, she decided to go play there again.

She quickly took the elevator to the outdoors, then, taking advantage of no one noticing, she zipped up to the top of the Lookout Tower.

This ti, she ca to the top of the Lookout Tower, sat there, breathing the sowhat dry air of the wilderness, and admired the wilderness scenery she had never appreciated in either of her two lives.

"Although the scenery is quite nice, it's fine to look at once or twice, but if you look at it for too long, you'll find that the scenery in front of you, while seemingly magnificent, is full of hardship and ordinariness," scout climbed up from behind and deftly sat down next to Kanna.

"Wow! Uncle, I was so careful, and you still found ."

Kanna made an exaggerated expression.

Scout couldn't help but roll his eyes. How much did this little brat look down on him? Although it was just a fleeting purple glow, he was, after all, a famous Sarkaz sniper master. If he couldn't even detect that, he would have died on the Kazdel battlefield long ago.

"Kanna heard you're an assassin, so what kind of assassin are you?"

"Assassins are divided into types?"

"Of course! I've heard of two kinds. One kind wears heavy armor, with a large shield in his left hand and a greatsword in his right. When the evening bell tolls, all who hear it go to hell. The other kind wears white clothes and a white robe, hiding among the crowd, eliminating the target and everyone around them, coming and going without a trace. But it's said that if this kind isn't practiced well, they will dissolve in water."

"Uh! Shouldn't an assassin, if he fails in one strike, retreat a thousand miles, and take the head of a general amidst a million soldiers? What kind of bizarre operation is it to kill everyone?" The usually calm and composed scout couldn't help but complain after hearing Kanna's words.

"Your way of thinking is outdated. Nowadays, a high-level assassin succeeds by eliminating the target and all their bodyguards. After all, if everyone is dead, there are no witnesses. No witnesses an it was a perfect infiltration, and only an assassin capable of such a perfect 'assassination' can be considered high-level."

Kanna waved her small hands in front, acting as if no one understood assassins better than her.
