Just as Kanna activated the device, it emitted a 'beep' sound and began moving towards the street under Kanna's gaze, scaring Kanna into imdiately grabbing it back. She then carefully held it by the doorway, preventing it from venturing onto the street.
After all, what was falling from above now was neither rain nor snow, but fist-sized active Originium crystals. This thin-skinned and precise instrunt would likely be scrapped within ten seconds of going outside.
Cradled in Kanna's arms, though unable to move, the device continued to record the surrounding environnt as programd.

In her opinion, even if Kanna and Nian didn't co down, the combat strength of the Rhodes Island Operators currently stationed below was already sufficient to protect the convoy during the Calamity.
