Following Outcast's command, the team rushed out along the road, just like in a thousand rehearsals.

At this ti, the people left to guard the mine were extrely vigilant. The main reason was that so many people had been taken away at once, leaving fewer than a hundred guards. This mine, however, was a large one with nearly a thousand Infected. A team of a hundred people was already stretched thin just to maintain internal stability, as the miners working here lived lives worse than pigs and dogs, and naturally, if they had any chance, they would strongly resist.

Previously, due to a large influx of people, there was a loophole in the security, and over a dozen people escaped. For this, Baron Colin even beat several workers to death who were caught after leading the escape.

So, after the main force left, most of the remaining people were wary of internal disturbances, fearing that the contraction of defenses might give these "troublemakers" another chance to escape.

But they didn't expect internal chaos to break out; instead, a group of burly n suddenly erged from outside the mine, and their excellent armor proved that they were well-prepared.

Considering what had happened at Baron Colin's manor earlier, how could they not realize they had fallen for a ruse to lure the tiger out of its mountain lair?

To prevent anyone inside the mine from contacting the outside world, the mine's only communicator was personally controlled by Baron Colin. When he left with the communicator, the mine had no electronic ans of contacting the outside world.

Soone tried to climb to the rooftop to send a smoke signal for communication, but he had barely run a few steps when a bullet accurately blew off his head.

"Sniper! Be careful!" Seeing the man fall to the ground, his legs still twitching uncontrollably in a miserable state, the guards in the mine imdiately cowered back, not daring to show their heads again.

"Damn it! What in the world is going on? Can you tell whose subordinates they are?" At this ti, the person in charge of the mine was a military officer highly trusted by Baron Colin. He still thought that the attackers were private troops from another noble.

After all, no one could have imagined that their opponents were staff from a mobile dical station in a small town over ten kiloters away. A fully ard and well-equipped team like this, in Victoria, besides official forces, only the elite private armies of major nobles would be so extravagant.

"Can't tell. Their weapons are almost all the latest equipnt developed by Blacksteel Worldwide, and there are no extra markings… Damn it, they have Sarkaz casters, be careful…"

Just as the people inside were observing the Rhodes Island Operators steadily advancing along the road through gaps, several mbers with horns on their heads and blazing flas in their hands stepped out from behind the Operators.

When they appeared, the observer's pupils contracted violently, then he let out a piercing scream.

Before he could finish speaking, several fireballs whistled and slamd into several previously scouted hiding spots within the mine.

Then, several burning figures, screaming in agony, ran out from those hiding places. Unfortunately, before they could take a few steps, the crisp sound of gunfire once again reached the ears of the defenders, and the burning figures fell to the ground.

"Damn it, Sarkaz casters and top-tier snipers from Sarkaz. Aren't these two factions enemies?" Before the people inside could make sense of the current situation, several more large fireballs, like precise targeting, found their hiding places.

"It's no good, boss. Our outer defenses must have been thoroughly scouted by the enemy. Those guys are targeting places where people are, and our brothers can't hold on much longer."

With the advancing pressure, the defenders previously stationed on the outskirts of the mine were thoroughly cleared out by Outcast and her team.

"Damn it! These guys aren't planning on letting us leave alive! Go inside and drive all those slaves out, push them all outwards. We'll hide in the middle and look for an opportunity to break through."

At this point, the military officer also sensed that things were going badly. However, Outcast and her team hadn't spoken a word except when taking action, which made him believe that the enemy intended to kill everyone in the mine. So, he planned to use the miners as shields and then blend in with them to sneak out of the mine.

However, the people he sent in didn't return for quite a while, and the enemies outside were getting closer and closer, making the officer's face grow paler.

Damn it, what's going on inside?

At this mont, he desperately wanted to know what was happening inside the mine, but he didn't dare to leave.

Because he knew that if he stayed, his subordinates could hold on a little longer, but if he hid, these guys would definitely defect or flee.

However, just as his last nerve was about to snap, footsteps began to echo from within the mine.

His face involuntarily changed from pale to red. As long as they broke through the encirclent, there would always be a chance to fight back later. Although they failed to defend the mine this ti, with the enemy's combat power, the higher-ups probably wouldn't bla him. Then, he could atone for his mistakes with ritorious service, perhaps get promoted and make a fortune, beco a CEO, and marry a beautiful, wealthy woman.

However, those footsteps abruptly stopped at the last corner.

He kept looking back, wanting to know what was truly happening inside.

At this mont, he saw the subordinate he had sent in walking out like an old man, one step at a ti.

"Damn it, what are you dawdling for? If you don't hurry, we'll all die here…"

Seeing this situation, he couldn't help but curse loudly, not expecting that his subordinate, whom he usually trusted so much, would abandon him at this critical mont.

After walking two more steps, the subordinate fell to the ground with a thud, his head rolling to his feet. The lingering fear and disbelief on his face proved what he had experienced in the mine. Only then did he realize that his subordinate was already dead.

Seeing this, a chill shot straight to his head.

He understood that the mine was probably lost, and at this crucial mont, it could only an that the miners inside had contact with the people outside, planning to cooperate from within and without to eliminate him and his group.

Finding that there was no retreat, he raised his hands and led the way out.

"Stop fighting, stop fighting, we surrender, we surrender!"

After the leader announced their surrender, the remaining guards also smoothly erged from behind cover, displaying expressions of panic, fear, and unwillingness, and expressed their submission to the Rhodes Island team.

These individuals were quickly disard and then confined in a house.

Outcast stood at the entrance of the mine, observing the miners brought up by the mbers of Group Four. These people were almost unrecognizably dirty, and their clothes were so tattered they barely covered their bodies, making it easy to imagine how miserable their lives had been in this mine.

At this mont, a team mber led an old man, so frail he trembled when he walked, to Outcast.

"Captain, this old man is the oldest miner in this mine, and also the spokesperson chosen by the other miners."
