Chapter 150: Let the Star Sea Know the Na of Sovereign of the Shadowed Night Bai Fu!
The reason Bai Fu insisted on taking a group of Players with her was mainly for two purposes.
The first was to have the Players continue promoting her on video platforms and the Community, ensuring she maintained a steady level of exposure and didn’t end up like characters in other gas—disappearing from existence once their gacha pool, event, or exclusive storyline ended, only to be surpassed rcilessly by other female NPCs.
The second reason, naturally, was because Players were extrely useful—especially these Players who had been molded into her shape over the course of three versions of developnt. They were even more useful.
Brick-moving, tanking, showing presence, exploring unknown areas...
The ways to use Players were too many to count.
No matter how bad her mood was, as long as she saw this group of Players calling her “kind-hearted Fu-fu” while looking at her with eager eyes, Bai Fu’s mood would naturally brighten.
Spending ti with Yulia always sohow ended with her dry-mouthed and sore all over, but being with Players was a completely different experience—in a word, relaxing!
In short, Bai Fu placed high hopes on the group of Players she had brought along.
Staring at the departing back of that unfamiliar Extraterrestrial Visitor, she had a new idea.
She first secretly released a few Tiny Bai Fu to follow the alien. Then, she issued a mission to the Players to explore the cargo hub. While the Players were preparing to act, she summoned Anya to help them expand their thinking.
Gui Yi Wo Fu, do you still rember that ti by Daming Lake when Fu... pfft, wrong script. Do you still rember when you went looking for those gangsters to pawn items for loans in the Lynn Settlent?
This trick no longer worked on the Beginner Planet because the NPCs there already knew Players could revive, and wouldn’t lend money without a strong guarantee. But the NPCs of the Star Sea didn’t yet understand the ridiculous resurrection ability Players possessed.
In Bai Fu’s eyes, the NPCs of the Star Sea were like a group of pure “little angels.” Coincidentally, as a Succubus, corrupting “little angels” was her favorite pasti.
Get ready to be baptized by the Fourth Calamity!
Since she was new here, Bai Fu hadn’t originally intended to imdiately introduce the full force of the calamity-level threat to the NPCs of the Star Sea. Her principle of conduct was—
Our side promises not to be the first to use calamity-grade weapons!
But now that that alien had started scheming against her—whether for her assets or her body, they were definitely scheming sothing—then she wasn’t going to pretend to be asleep anymore.
“I, the great Bai Fu, am no saint. You want sothing from , huh? Then I’ll see to it that you’re all dealt with!”
With a single reminder from Anya, Gui Yi Wo Fu and the others imdiately grew excited.
No way, seriously?
If Anya hadn’t brought it up, they’d completely forgotten they had this clever little moneymaking trick up their sleeve.
They had done this back on Origin Star, so why not do it here in the Star Sea too? Otherwise, it would be way too unfair to the NPCs of Origin Star!
Gui Yi Wo Fu and the others exchanged glances and imdiately sprang into action.
After boarding the spaceship, their Respawn Point had automatically bound to it, so they didn’t have to worry about the awful situation of reviving back on Origin Star if they died.
But the most excited weren’t veterans like Gui Yi Wo Fu. It was the Players who had entered the ga later and found all the shortcuts blocked when trying to learn from Gui Yi Wo Fu. For them, this was their first—and possibly last—chance. Since that was the case, they had to give it their all to honor their first death in the Star Sea.
【Wow, you guys are really born to die, huh】
【Mont of silence for the NPCs of the Star Sea. Of all people, you chose to ss with them】
【It had to be Anya. If she hadn’t reminded them, Digging‑Treasure and the others would’ve never thought of pulling this stunt in the Star Sea】
【Ah, I thought Anya was just an innocent Loli. Turns out she’s full of mischievous ideas?】
【Don’t you think it’s super cute how Anya, to protect her noble moon goddess Fu-fu, willingly transforms into a black-hearted Loli?】
In Excavation‑Princess’s Livestream, the Players chatted rrily.
Bai Fu nodded secretly. She definitely couldn’t step up to remind Players about sothing like this herself—it didn’t align with the persona she had shown them.
If the Players found out her gentle and kind nature was all an act, and that she was actually a woman full of ntal dramatics, constantly scheming how to Squeeze Dry the Players, there would definitely be a mass exodus of fans, right?
Tragic.
Thankfully, she had Anya and Hei Fu as her at Shields.
“Exploiting little girls, as expected of you!”
Once the Players had left, Yulia gave Bai Fu a sidelong glance.
Bai Fu ignored Yulia’s expression. Don’t eat kids? Then eat you instead—just worried you couldn’t even handle a few bites from .
Anya tugged at Bai Fu’s sleeve, happy she could be of help to her boss.
What’s wrong with being exploited by the boss? She just wished the boss would squeeze her more so that she wouldn’t be stuck with that cold and aloof bad woman Yulia!
“Let’s go. Before the Tiny Bai Fu and the Undying Ones bring back intel on the surroundings, let’s stroll around this cargo hub to see if we can find anything useful.”
The Players’ special abilities and Yulia’s Mana Recharge ability were Bai Fu’s key strengths for establishing a foothold near the Lightscreen Starport.
But she also understood very well—if she wanted to truly gain a foothold in the Star Sea, the most important thing was her own strength.
Her Psionic Class had been stuck at level 50 for a while now. To trigger the Class Transfer, she urgently needed to gather three pieces of Advanced Psionic Knowledge.
Besides that, Bai Fu also wanted to buy a complete Star Map of the Outer World Sector. With a Star Map, whether she needed to run off after doing sothing shady or go find other Beginner Planets, everything would beco much easier.
She didn’t know the exact positions of the other Beginner Planets, but as long as she obtained the Star Map of the Outer World and entered it into the ga’s Map system, she could deduce the travel routes to other Beginner Planets based on the relative positions between Origin Star, other Beginner Planets, and the Outer World Sector. That way, she could pilot her spaceship over to harvest fresh Players.
When it ca to farming Players, she had never fallen behind any NPC in the ga.
Bai Fu brought Anya, Yulia, and Hei Fu into the nearby Trade Hub.
This Trade Hub was set inside abandoned heavy industrial equipnt and was astonishingly large, with over twenty layers from bottom to top. The topmost layer could even dock small spaceships. The black tal walls exuded a sense of danger amidst their heavy construction.
A Trade Hub built in a place of chaos was never ant for ordinary people.
At a glance, even the most inconspicuous stall vendors in the corridors were at least level 25. Those wearing Powered Armor, special outfits, or with chanical prosthetics were even higher in level.
“This NPC’s Main Class is level 54. From what bystanders say, he’s an A-rank Psionicist, but so of his Stats are still lower than mine. He just has more exclusive Skills.”
Bai Fu understood—her earlier assumption was correct. Even though she hadn’t completed her third Class Transfer yet, her strength was already on par with so of the weaker A-rank Psionicists.
That was a reassuring discovery.
The general level of the Star Sea Map was far higher than that of the Beginner Planet, but the combat power of ordinary people here didn’t necessarily exceed that of ordinary people on the Beginner Planet. In the Star Sea, most Psionicists were stuck at D-rank and C-rank. B-rank and A-rank Psionicists, whether in the Outer World or the sectors governed by the Three Major Civilizations, were considered elite forces.
As for S-rank Psionicists, their full-powered outbursts had a deterrent force comparable to humanoid mobile nukes—they were truly the powerhouse tier of the Star Sea.
Bai Fu didn’t dare think that far ahead just yet. She wandered around the Trade Hub, mainly checking for Advanced Knowledge, Star Maps, and Psionic Esper Power training manuals.
Good news was that this Trade Hub had what she needed for sale. Bad news was that even the cheapest 【Psionic Construction thod】 cost 5,000 Credit Coins, and a complete Star Map of the Outer World Sector was priced at 100,000 Credit Coins.
Bai Fu: “……”
Truly a sigh-inducing mont. Back on Origin Star, she had already beco the richest woman. Now, she was so broke her crotch was bare—no hair left.
Fortunately, she still had Players. Her money was her money, and Player money... would be hers eventually too.
“The total price for the three Advanced Knowledge books is at least 23,000 Credit Coins. Hopefully, the Players can drop more Gold Coins from the NPCs here. Also, that NPC who just targeted , he...”
Speaking of that NPC, Bai Fu’s eyes suddenly lit up.
Here it ca—the Tiny Bai Fu she had dispatched had finally brought back sothing!
...
Mining Area Planet 3, Abandoned Drilling Platform D-Zone.
After verifying his identity at the entrance, Deris walked into a circular house marked with the “Fla” banner, beaming.
This was a temporary stronghold of the Fla Transfer House.
The Fla Transfer House had a righteous-sounding na and was well-known around the Lightscreen Starport, yet it operated in the strictly banned business of slave trafficking—a cri expressly prohibited in the Star Web Commonwealth.
The Fla Transfer House was established twenty years ago. Its founder, Lava, had once worked as a thug in a notorious interstellar pirate group. After leaving, he took a batch of followers and started a new business. He was tall and broad, with a waist as wide as a barrel, but what filled that bloated body wasn’t fat—rather, it was terrifying muscle as hard as steel. This was the innate talent of his race: skin tough enough to contain fire-based Martial Qi without burning his own body.
“Boss, I contacted the group you ntioned. They seed cautious, but judging from their speech patterns and behavior upon landing, they’re most likely bumpkins from so minor civilization,” Deris said obsequiously to Lava.
Lava chomped on a piece of unidentifiable roasted at in his hand: “They don’t even have Interstellar Common Language credentials. They’re either bumpkins or wanted criminals. They’ve got nearly a hundred people and an old freighter that still looks decent. That leader of theirs? Her looks would be considered top-tier in any cosmic race. If we manage to capture them, we’ll make a big haul this ti.”
“Hahaha.”
The other thugs in the room burst out laughing upon hearing Lava’s words.
They were in this business for profit, and now the money had delivered itself to their door. How could they not be thrilled?
At that mont, Lava’s communicator rang.
“Quiet.”
Lava looked at the virtual screen that popped up. The call was from one of the scouts he had sent out.
“What is it?”
“Boss, those bumpkins you told Deris to watch suddenly ca over asking to Borrow Money. What do I do? Should I just capture them directly, or...”
“Borrow Money?”
“Yeah, they were afraid I wouldn’t lend to them. One after another, they kept buttering up, swearing they’d pay it back soon, even offering their bodies as collateral if I didn’t believe them.”
Hearing the scout’s explanation, Lava was stunned for a mont.
Collateral bodies?
He had been planning to sell them off for profit anyway. Now they were offering themselves? This was too funny.
“Lend. Go ahead and lend to them. I still need to rally manpower. Don’t spook them for now. If we scare them off, it’ll take way more effort to catch them again. Besides, once we’ve got them, any money lent out will be back in our hands anyway.”
“Yes, Boss.”
After ending the call, Lava glanced around and burst into hearty laughter.
“These bumpkins are hilariously naive.”
“They still have no idea what they’re walking into.”
“That’s what happens with yokels from tiny places. They’ve never seen how brutal the Star Sea can be. Full of silly dreams. I’ll teach them a lesson today—this Star Sea, it eats people alive!”
“Eat people! Eat people!”
The other thugs in the room cheered wildly. Many were already reminiscing about the sll of washing feet—the Big-foot Girls at the Trade Hub had the right kick!

A Status Panel unfolded in front of Bai Fu. It was what she had scouted using Psionic Vision after sending Tiny Bai Fu to sneak into the territory of the Fla Transfer House.
This NPC nad Lava had very high stats. A base Strength of 403 was the highest she had seen so far. From the Yellow-level threat rating, it was clear that even without any buffs, Lava was stronger than her—but not to a hopeless degree.
“If it really ca down to a fight, I’ve got Yulia, Hei Fu, and a pile of Prayer Cards on my side—still a chance of winning. But he’s got a lot of n, and this is his turf. The Players and Anya probably couldn’t hold out. If they got taken out, I’d be sward.”
Bai Fu clicked open the quest that had been triggered by eavesdropping on the Fla Transfer House’s conversation.
【Crisis Descends】
【Quest Introduction: After leaving Origin Star and entering the Star Sea for the first ti, you’ve caught the attention of the infamous slave-trafficking group Fla Transfer House, which colludes with Lightscreen Starport. You now stand at the crossroads of fate!】
【Quest Objectives:
Branch 1: Evade pursuit by the Fla Transfer House – Reward: -700,000 XP;
Branch 2: Eliminate the Fla Transfer House – Reward: -3,000,000 XP, Unlock Lightscreen Starport Reputation, Lightscreen Starport Reputation 50, Lava’s One-ti Skill Card *1】
The quest had two branches, and the reward difference between escaping and eliminating the Fla Transfer House was enormous. This alone showed how difficult it would be for Bai Fu, with her current power, to win a direct confrontation against the Fla Transfer House.
“Looks like if I want to complete the second branch, I’ll have to initiate the final plan—Kill with a Borrowed Knife!”
As she watched Deris leave, Bai Fu ca up with a plan.
If all went well, not only could she resolve the potential trouble brought by the spaceship from Fragnt Star, she could also make a hefty profit, complete a generously rewarding mission, and seize her first bucket of gold in the Star Sea.
She decided to give it a try. After all, she had already probed the Fla Transfer House's movents in advance. Even if her plan failed, she had enough confidence to cut her losses.
Bai Fu quickly contacted Excavation‑Princess and told her to gather the other Players and return after borrowing the money.
Most Players, having just arrived in a foreign area, were in the peak of their exploration craze. Upon hearing that Bai Fu was urging them back, they reluctantly returned.
Though the other NPCs weren’t bad, it was clear that none were as impressive as Fu‑fu, who looked like she had strong backing—so it was better to stick with her.
Bai Fu said, “If I rember correctly, you can choose your resurrection point after death, right?”
Excavation‑Princess nodded.
Bai Fu said, “I plan to abandon the spaceship we arrived in. You all better change your resurrection point now.”
“Huh?”
The surrounding Players were confused. Why abandon a perfectly good spaceship? Without it, wouldn’t they lose their ans of travel?
Bai Fu shared her findings and plans with the Players: “Abandoning that spaceship doesn’t an we won’t have another. From what I see, the Fla Transfer House’s spaceship looks pretty good.”
Whether by appearance or model, the Fla Transfer House’s spaceship was clearly superior to the old freighter from Fragnt Star.
Bai Fu was ready to perform a complete Tactical Base Swap with the Fla Transfer House—
When the Fla Transfer House launched their attack, she would send General Hei Fu and the Players to the front to stage a fake defeat. Then, while the Fla Transfer House basked in victory, she would sneak into their base and steal their spaceship.
Of course, her aim wasn’t just a base swap.
The spaceship from Fragnt Star was a ticking ti bomb to her. Although she was safe for now, who could guarantee that Shijing Security Corporation, the Redmoon rcenary Corps, or the Sanctified Church wouldn’t one day recognize the spaceship she was piloting as the one from Fragnt Star?
If that ever happened, she’d be in big trouble.
At best, she’d lose the True Spirit Pillar. At worst, she’d lose her life.
Bai Fu didn’t want to live under the constant threat of such a ticking bomb. She planned to use this opportunity to ditch it—and if luck favored her, maybe she could even blow the Fla Transfer House to pieces with it.
“Let’s begin.”
Under Bai Fu’s orders, the Players first changed their resurrection points, then carried down everything valuable from the freighter—especially Yulia’s experintal equipnt. As for the rest of the materials, Bai Fu only kept what was needed to make Prayer Cards; the rest was sold off at the Cargo Hub.
These materials weren’t worth many Credit Coins. Even selling them cheap didn’t hurt her.
It was pocket change. The Players had just borrowed over 400 Credit Coins from the Fla Transfer House. Bai Fu was brimming with confidence now—money borrowed through skill would be kept through skill.
“Very good. Everything’s ready. Now we just wait for the Fla Transfer House to move.”
...
The Fla Transfer House acted faster than Bai Fu had expected—because Lava had been agitated by her actions, thinking she planned to sell her wares and flee with the spaceship.
Such premium prey had arrived near his temporary base—how could he let them escape?
Lava mobilized a large force, leaving only a few trusted subordinates behind. He was afraid Bai Fu would run and also feared others might try to steal his prize.
“Whether we’ll have enough booze, at, and won for the next few months depends on this operation!”
Lava’s commanding presence stirred his underlings into a frenzy.
As he and his crew zood past the Cargo Hub on single‑rider flight bikes, a few small-ti vendors whispered among themselves.
“Who’s the Fla Transfer House targeting this ti?”
“Who knows? As long as they’re not here for , I’ve got business to run.”
“Damn, I really envy Lava. When he left the pirate crew, I thought he was finished. Who knew he’d cozy up to a slave tycoon and make a killing with this new gig?”
“He’s too wild. Once the Star Web Commonwealth gets free, they’ll crack down on him eventually.”
“Easy to say. The Star Web Commonwealth has its hands full. Even if they do free up, it’s not like they’ll find him right away.”
Tsk tsk tsk.
Hiding in the shadows, Bai Fu clicked her tongue in amazent. No wonder Mining Area Planet 3 was a chaotic zone—good folks were hard to find here.
She watched Lava ride off. Just earlier, she had Hei Fu and several Tiny Hei Fu combine to disguise themselves as Yulia and show themselves outside. Sure enough, they had drawn the Fla Transfer House’s attention.
Calling a country bumpkin, huh?
Today, I, the great Bai Fu, will show you what a terrifying country bumpkin looks like!
On Origin Star, I rose from a re bumpkin to beco a queen. In the Star Sea, there’s no reason I can’t walk that path again.
Bai Fu signaled the disguised Yulia and Anya. “Let’s go. Ti to backdoor their base!”
The three quickly sprang into action.
With Tiny Bai Fu scouting ahead, they easily avoided detection and slipped near the now nearly deserted temporary base of the Fla Transfer House.
Bai Fu didn’t attack right away. She was waiting—for Lava to make the first move. Only when the fighting was in full swing would she have enough ti to steal the spaceship and load the previously hidden supplies onboard.
The wait didn’t last long.
The Fla Transfer House’s raiders rode in swiftly. Upon locating Hei Fu and the Players, Lava imdiately gave the order to attack.
Hei Fu had inherited 85% of Bai Fu’s base stats, but that didn’t an she should be underestimated. With the Sanctified Link from Yulia and bonuses from summoned True Spirits, her Inspiration stat jumped from 322 to 371. After using the Psionic Enhancent Potion (Yulia Version) obtained from the quest 【Dissolution of the Truth Society】, it soared again to 406. But that wasn’t her limit—Hei Fu activated Blessing of the Mind Phase II, boosting her base Inspiration by 20%.
470!
That was Hei Fu’s current Inspiration stat.
Facing the aggressive Lava, Hei Fu charged forward without a word and unleashed a Dark Burn.
The base panel damage for a three-hit combo was 2115. Factoring in various attack bonuses, the total panel damage exceeded 6000!
But panel damage was only panel damage. In the Star Sea, Bai Fu’s biggest challenge was that enemies not only knew to guard against psionic attacks—they also had the ans to do so.
Even though Lava wore equipnt that reduced psionic damage, had a built-in high damage reduction talent, and had activated his Martial Qi Shield, when Hei Fu’s three-hit Dark Burn—costing 65% of her psionic energy—landed perfectly, the at-tank known for his toughness still took a whopping “-2921” damage above his head.
One hit. Because he underestimated her and didn’t dodge, Lava lost nearly half his HP!
“Fucking bumpkin!”
Lava flew into a rage.
Never in his wildest dreams did he expect a country girl to make him feel the threat of death.
“Kill her—no, capture her alive. She’ll fetch a high price!”
Lava imdiately channeled Qi to regenerate HP. The other mbers of the Fla Transfer House surrounded Hei Fu and the Players from all sides.
These thugs were strong. One of them was even an A-rank Psionicist like Lava.
They thought it would be an easy fight, but they were wrong. The so-called bumpkins displayed a ferocity that would shock even interstellar elites.
No surrender—only death!
The Fla Transfer House thugs were stunned.
They ca to capture slaves, but these bumpkins fought desperately and even chose suicide when outmatched. How were they supposed to deal with that?
“Shit—we won’t get our loaned money back!”
Lava’s eyes bulged in fury. “Is now the ti to worry about that? Just seize their spaceship and we break even. As for these people...”
Realizing they couldn’t capture Hei Fu anyti soon, he gritted his teeth and had his n bring out their deadliest weapons.
If you refuse to be captured, I’ll send you off myself!
“Blow them up!”
Explosions rained down, engulfing Hei Fu, Tiny Hei Fu, and the last of the Players.
At the sa mont, back at the Fla Transfer House’s temporary base, Bai Fu charged in.
The few left behind never expected Bai Fu to attack—much less that she’d be this powerful. Before they could call Lava for help, Bai Fu and Yulia unleashed a tag-team beatdown.
One Heavenly Burial after another. One Spirit Burst followed by a Psionic Domain. Their coordination was flawless, and in no ti, the guards were kneeling.
“If you don’t want to die, open the spaceship doors and start the engines.”
With a mix of force and combat etiquette, Bai Fu successfully boarded the Fla Transfer House’s spaceship. As she had predicted, this private ship was far superior to the freighter from Fragnt Star.
After punching a useless thug to death, Bai Fu piloted the ship, picked up Yulia’s equipnt and the revived Players, and flew toward the outskirts of the Lightscreen Starport.
Just as her ship vanished into the clouds, Lava entered the freighter from Fragnt Star.
Looking around the interior, which bore no signs of aging, Lava’s rage from injury finally subsided.
“Got a spaceship. At least it wasn’t a total loss.”
He chuckled—until his eyes caught a Signal Transmitter.
“Who activated this?”
His crew exchanged glances.
“Probably activated before we ca in.”
Lava stepped forward, shut off the transmitter, and checked its transmission log—only to see that it had sent out a ssage labeled “Fragnt Star.”
For so reason, a terrible premonition rose in his heart.
...
Shijing Planet, Starport Observation Station.
The stationed Observer suddenly leapt up in excitent.
“Found it—the spaceship stolen by Fragnt Star!”
